Large wraparound porch with gas grill. This home may have minor flaws you might expect with any 120 year old house. The house and grounds were beautifully and thoughtfully cared for, all rooms and spaces were clean and well-provisioned, and the property owner very responsive and considerate. We were attending an event, and didn't get to make use of the outdoor amenities, such as the well-stocked fire pit, but hope to do so the next time we stay. We are *definitely* planning to cone back and stay again! Additional notes: There is easy parking available for 4 cars, more if you don't mind parking each other in. The stairs down to the river may be difficult for folks with mobility issues, but for those able to safely make the trek, the outdoor spaces and views are worth the effort. I can't say enough good about our experience with staying here. If you're considering staying at this property, do it! :)"

We did not cook, but it seems like the kitchen has everyithing you would need. Still has the beautifully painted old flooring and the exquisite woodwork that you do not find anywhere today. The house is very clean and we all found the beds (3 king beds) comfortable. My brother in law loved the piano (he said it was in tune). The house is kid friendly. There is a high chair, plug covers, child locks on all of the kitchen cupboards and drawers. The stairs have gates installed if you need them. That, I think, is an awesome extra in a VRBO. The host is available and answers quickly whenever you need him. I only had a couple questions for him. The grounds are beautiful. It is next to a microbrewery - which had excellent beers. You should really make time to visit it (the have drinks for non beer people too). BUT if you don't want that, you should really try to walk to the falls which are just behind the brewery. I wish I had time to walk the grounds a little more to see it all. It is also very close drive to many places to eat. We were in town visiting cousins and I would not hesitate at all to stay here again. In fact, I will look again when visiting and hopefully it will be available. "

There are two small window units that do not keep up with the amount of space. There are, however , multiple fans throughout the cabin that push a nice amount of air.
