It has much of it's original charm- unpainted woodwork, arches, glass doorknobs, beautiful non-working fireplace with mantle. It's located in a quiet, family neighborhood.
You will have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make a meal or just a cup of coffee with our new Kuerig coffee maker. There is filtered water and ice from the refrigerator door. There is also a Bose radio in the kitchen. The dining room has seating for 4. The living room has comfortable seating, a tv with Netflix and local channels, and is light and bright. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a new mattress and good quality 100% cotton linens. There are room darkening drapes on the windows. The smaller bedroom has a twin size bed with a new mattress and good quality 100% cotton linens and has "black out" curtains on the windows. It also has a small desk. All of our sheets and towels are 100% cotton and are washed in "free and clear" detergent. Our bathroom has been recently remodeled with a new sink, toilet and tile floor. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms, living room and kitchen.
Outside you will find a covered back porch to sit outside and a small yard. There is a private drive for parking at the side of the house.

We had 8 people in our party, 4 adults, 4 children (6 & under) and this became a problem a few times. We had to clean the bathroom shower/tub before using it. There were areas that looked to be under repair as well. I am not certain that this property should even be rented at this time until the repairs are completed. The stairs leading to the property’s porch are in need of repair or replacement as well, also the railing on the stairs. The porch also had no railing at all. We had 4 young children so were concerned each time we had to go on the porch. Recommend adding a railing on the porch. There were 2 chairs on the front porch and one was broken and unusable. The property manager was very responsive when we needed information. We were contacted throughout our stay to see if there were any issues and if there was anything that could be done to make our stay more comfortable. Overall not a bad stay and was close to relatives we were visiting, we mainly slept there. I however would not stay at this property again."

There is a driveway to the right of the house you may use at anytime. It is uphill so watch your front bumper as lower cars may catch the pavement.

This small house has a central furnace so it will seem loud in the winter time. It is loudest downstairs in the living room. It will be 3-4 degrees warmer upstairs than downstairs which is pretty typical in older homes. (Built in 1920)

This house is 900 square feet. Please keep in mind this is basically an above average sized tiny home.

Backyard is usually set up by May 15th when the warm weather arrives. 4 chairs and a small firepit. Nothing besides a lighter (lighter is with the silverware) is provided for the firepit.

The space
The rooms are all on one level, including both bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen. Central air conditioning with ceiling fans to stay cool. There is a queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other bedroom. One bathroom that has been recently remodeled. The kitchen is well equipped to cook a meal plus plates, bowls, mugs, glasses and silverware. There is a Bose radio in the kitchen along with a Keurig Coffee maker. Coffee and tea are provided.
The living room has a couch and loveseat and extra chairs. There is a tv with a Roku system along with an antenna for local stations. The dining room has seating for 4.
Outside in the private back yard is a covered porch, a patio and lawn.
The house is located in a quiet family area.
I use 100% cotton sheets and duvet covers. We also wash in "free and clear" detergent and use natural cleaners as much as possible.

The treehouse-cabins themselves stand on ten foot posts. As you climb the stairs onto the lovely 16 foot deck you enter into a rustic and elegant space all your own. The room offers a wet bar, sink, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The dual head shower adds a luxurious modern touch to compliment the handmade wooden furniture. The tree houses are 100 yards away from the main house. These all have Queen beds and perfect for two! Continental Breakfast included Mon-Fri 8-9am; Sat-Sun 9-10am
