Host leaves a simple list to follow so you know your leaving it the way they prefer. I did read the other reviews when booking. Any upgrades the host might decide to do outside would just be a bonus to anyone who stays here in the future. Of course, it just takes time and money that will probably increase the price of this place. It's not a five star resort, but it provides a very nice stay at what I would say is a fair price. Would definitely stay here again!"

Our home, Huston Family Lakehouse, is a great place for relaxing time on the lake! The backyard has direct access for swimming or boating at Eagle Mountain Lake. Perfect for families with children as the lake is fenced with multiple gates for lake access. The backyard is beautiful with a large green lawn for play and rest. The family room and dining room overlook the lake with large windows. The home also has a screened in porch complete with porch swing.

Our newly renovated home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths that sleep 10 and equipped with brand new updated furniture!

As you walking out to the back of the house, you will be welcomed by a large deck, a beautiful pickleball court (which can also convert into a volleyball/badminton court), a basketball post, a fire pit, 150 feet of water frontage, a private boat ramp for small watercrafts, a long pier to two boat ports (with a large covered areas to sit & relax day or night).

You and your families & friends can enjoy an array of games, such as corn holes, pickleball (voted to be the fastest growing family sport in the U.S these days), refine your free throws or 3-pointers at the basketball post, S’mores, fishing, swimming, canoeing, or just simply sit & relax and enjoy the nice Eagle Mountain Lake breeze while watching that beautiful sun rise and sun set.

There’s plenty of parking, including six parking spots in front of the house and the driveway to the boat ramp can be used as additional parking spaces.

John, the owner, provided the sweetest amenities from snacks to boxed waters to coffee creamer… he thought of everything!! He even has the best neighbor, Howard, to help you in any way imaginable. - "This place is a find! Our family had always wanted to stay at a place by the lake and this place looked beautiful online. It did not disappoint. It's a fantastic house with great energy and it's outfitted with everything you and your family or friends could ever want in a VRBO booking. There are kayaks if you want to get out on the lake, or if you just want to stay in, there are tons of board games and smart TV's. I really loved the details that they put in, like a french press for our coffee. Dewey was our main contact and his communication is spot-on. We couldn't ask for anything more. We are so glad we booked this place and you will be too!"

Smart TVs in every bedroom, living room and outside poolside. Netflix and Youtube TV (live local) is available. Fast wifi for working or streaming. Bathrooms furnished with soap, conditioner and body wash. Bar and coffee bar set up complete, just bring your own alcohol. Couch is oversized and super comfy with plenty of room for an extra sleeper or you can pull out the queen sized air mattress in the game room. Outdoor Seating: The covered patio boasts a large outdoor couch and 2 rattan chairs for plenty of seating under two fans (trust me, you'll need em'!). Additionally, we have a massive outdoor table with seating for 12 people under the string lights for a moody evening dinner or sunny brunch by the pool. There is also an iron table with 4 extra chairs by the outdoor kitchen for extra seating. We've got the whole crew covered!

Outdoor Kitchen: Built in charcoal grill, outdoor sink, grilling utensils, and plenty of countertop space for all the fixin's! Raised bar top & 4 bar stools for those who want to enjoy a nice drink while they watch someone else cook their food (now that's what I call a good time!)

Pool/Hot tub: Beach entry, built-in tabletop and bench, grotto area under waterfall with bench, and another bench on the backside of the pool. Lounge chairs to relax & get some sun. Customizable pool lighting for evening dips. Pool towels are provided.

Firepit: Propane gas firepit with seating for 8 under the string lights. We also provide skewers for roasting marshmallows. Nothing like ending the day at the lake with some s'mores!

He is at our house most days and likes to be petted.
