- "This property was at most the horrible experience. Property is not at all where it states on the website. When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. We stood for a week and they came at the second to last day of our stay. It was cold every morning and the windows were patched with garbage bags. Everything was prone to disconnect from walls such as everything in bathroom. In addition to paying for the stay they tried to charge me $59/per person per night. Everything was communicated but ignored. I even took pics and videos. In return I was giving a late check out with no charge so far who knows."

- "I can't recommend this rental enough. I booked it for the month of May for Fordham University's graduation. I was able to extend my stay by 3 days at the front end and 2 days at the back end with short notice. The house was extremely clean. There were plenty of linens available, and the kitchen was well-stocked with supplies. There was an abundance of storage room including in the bedrooms and bathroom. All appliances were basically new and in excellent working order. The furniture was comfortable and would easily accommodate 3 people. The rental really felt like mine while I was there rather than someone's place that I was renting. Communication with the property manager was super speedy and polite. Entrance and exit were simple. I had a small pup with me, and it was perfect for the both of us. People on City Island were extremely friendly. The abundance of restaurants was staggering, and each one I tried was excellent. Last note: if you're a Fordham parent (with your own vehicle) this is a perfect spot to rent. It's about 5 miles from campus and takes about 20-25 minutes to travel to and from."

Our one bedroom apartment has a big bathroom, it almost feels like a dressing room! The work area is very well lit with lots of natural sunlight and you can admire the trees while you work.

There is a small garden with a bench in front t of the house. You are welcome to sit and enjoysome fresh air anytime!

Other things to note
Late check-out: Unauthorized late check-outs are charged at a rate of $50 per half hour or part thereof. At two hours past check-out (1:00 pm) guests are responsible for a full day's rent without any discounts and expedited cleaning costs although they are not entitled to possession. They are also responsible for any loss of rent or credits issued to the next guest caused by their late check-out.

Early check-in: We can usually accept early check-ins up to 2 hours early. This may not be possible if the previous guest checks out late. We charge $30 per hour to help cover expedited cleaning expenses.

We can provide clean towels and washcloths upon request.

If you book for one guest but arrive with two guests, we will charge an additional $40 per night.

For more than two guests, there will be an additional charge of $1200 per month for each additional person.

Please avoid frying foods that splatter a lot of grease in the kitchen. It causes a big mess that takes a lot of extra work to clean. Additionally, we've observed instances from previous guests where cooking led to splattering oil from frying foods too hot.
Please be advised that a extra $300 cleaning cost will be assessed for violations of these rules. No smoking. Specifically regarding smoking indoors. There is a extra $320 for delete the smoke smell.
We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for all guests.

Please remove any hair from bathroom sink drain before it gets washed down.
It will clog the drain and cause plumbing problem.
