The setup is easy. For beginners, we can text you a video of how to attach and work the motor.

If you’re looking to throw a big house party, not only is this against the rules, it’s not the right house for you. There is absolutely no additional parking available anywhere in this neighborhood which has very narrow streets. Overflow cars will be towed and the police will break up any parties. Kids did some fishing off the dock and caught quite a few. Neighbors are close but it was quiet and serene. Grocery store and restaurants are close by. Tyler checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans. I would suggest a bit more silverware and some big coffee mugs. I like a big cup of coffee while admiring the lovely lake in the morning. Ceiling fans and air conditioners kept it plenty cool and comfortable. The space
Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and a closet. We do offer a queen sized Murphy Bed placed in a semi private nook for parties who register over 4 guests. NO couch sleepers please! Under 4, you can request prior to arrival for a fee.

Guest access
Please use the driveway on the RIGHT side of the main house. The entire apartment is yours to enjoy as well as the yard to the right side of the house. The rest of the yard belongs to the main house. For privacy, please do not wander around the rest of the property.

Other things to note
This apartment only has a kitchenette for cooking meals. Only cooking elements provided may be used due to the lack of venting and sensitive smoke alarm. May not be optimal for longer term guests who wish to do more cooking.
This is a basement apartment, you may hear footsteps from the upstairs if occupied.
PLEASE NOTE: MURPHY BED is used for reservations OVER 4 ONLY. HOWEVER, if you wish to add the Murphy Bed for reservations of 4 and under, you may request it at $40 per stay for set up/take down and extra linens. Requests must be made at the time of booking or up to 7 days prior to check in to guarantee use.

Little Oak Cottage has been completely renovated into a getaway haven on a fully recreational lake (swimming, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, ice skating, snow mobiling, ice fishing, etc.).

An open concept kitchen and living room with granite countertops and exposed beam ceilings. A comfortable pullout sofa adds sleeping options.

BEDROOMS
1) Master bedroom on the 1st floor with two twin beds and attached bathroom.
2) Upstairs room with a full bed.
3) Upstairs room with beanbags and room for sleeping bags.
4) 1st floor living room with a queen sofa pullout.

Wide sliders in the main living area open up to the large back deck, letting in natural light and making a great space to relax and gaze at the views of the lake and mountain.

Barn doors close off the master bedroom with a gorgeous tiled bathroom attached. The daybed+trundle allows both comfort and convenience.

The open staircase and catwalk leads to two small loft rooms. One room sleeps two on a full bed and the other contains comfy beanbags for a kids lounge.

When it’s time for the lake, you will find kayaks and paddle-boards to cruise the calm waters and take in the amazing mountain views.

After a full day on the lake, gather around the fire-pit. String-lights hanging overhead; tiki torches around the yard; and the clear night sky — all provide the perfect lakeside setting.

This is truly the perfect vacation spot. Located directly on gorgeous Wyman Lake which rests at the base of Wachusett Ski Mountain. Whether you’re looking to get away in the summer, fall, winter, or spring — Old Oak Cottage provides the perfect lodging for your trip.

Wyman Lake is a fully recreational lake. The water is clean, clear, and perfect for swimming. You may enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, ice fishing, ice skating, and snow mobiling.

The house is a spacious 3-bedroom / 2-bathroom cottage that sleeps eight people.

SLEEPING — 1st Floor
- The master bedroom is located on the 1st floor and boasts a very comfortable king bed and attached half bath.
- The living room has a pullout sofa.

SLEEPING — 2nd Floor
- Upstairs bedroom with queen bed.
- Upstairs bedroom with twin bed + twin trundle.
- Upstairs den with a pullout futon.

The gorgeous sunroom with views of the lake and mountain is the perfect setting for your morning coffee.

Step outside onto the two-tier deck that offers convenient outdoor dining.

When it’s time to play, you will find more than enough kayaks and paddle-boards, along with a canoe, pedal boat, and row boat.

A brand new dock was installed in June 2023 that offers 150 square feet of space to fish, cannonball, or even dine.

The setup is easy. For beginners, we can text you a video of how to attach and work the motor.
