If you want to be in the heart of town and walk anywhere this is it. It is on the first block, steps to the sand and steps to any restaurant or bar. Right next door to the Catalina Island Conservancy so easy if you want a tour or event. Two nice decks, you can have a drink and enjoy the views or people watch. All newly redone, nice everything. Nice new TV. It technically is a one bedroom but it is 1100 sq ft with two euroloungers that fold out and all bedding/towels included. This is a fun place to go and you will love it, we do.

NEW POLICY, NO REFUND DUE TO CANCELLATION. Sorry, it was getting to be a pain in the neck. VRBO does offer travel insurance.

3) The HOA will fine us if you bring a drone, and we would have to pass that hefty charge on to you, so best to leave your drone safe at home!

The bedroom has a Super Comfy King bed with high thread count linens. The other guests sleep on a queen sofa sleeper with a thick foam mattress in the living room. This condo is Oceanfront with No Obstructions and you'll feel On Top of the Actual Beach you're so close(see pix). Leave windows or French doors open overnight to hear the waves lap the ocean.
The Kitchen has all amenities with a Combination Drip/Kuerig coffeemaker, Large Refrigerator, range/oven, New Non-stick pots and pans, pantry. Everything to feel at home and cook if you want. The BBQ on the balcony is huge and has 2 Propane tanks to ensure you don't run out. We've tried to think of everything!
There's a separate bathtub(for kids or if that's your thing) and a separate shower-whatever your needs. You can throw a stone into the water from our fantastic 60 foot wrap around balcony deck with spectacular and sweeping 270 degree views overlooking the beach, the town, the harbor and the ocean! There is no finer spot to sit and people watch or relax with a glass of wine. 2 night minimum. (3 nt minimum in summer)

This family owned vacation home offers you the BEST location in town; only steps away from the sand and swimming, shopping, restaurants and bars and all the recreational activities and sightseeing tours. We are also a very short, 2 minute level stroll from where the ferry docks.

Our property is 3 stories, AND THIS UNIT IS ON THE TOP FLOOR AND THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. This is a classic, clean and comfortable 110 year old beach house, but if you need a "room service Marriott hotel type experience"; you should look elsewhere. We do not have air conditioning, although it's needed as much at the beach and we do have 2 sets of sliders and portable fans. We also do not have a golf cart. They can be rented by the hour 200 feet away.

On the ground floor are a couple retail clothing shops, an electric bike rental, a snorkel rental and a psychic. The middle floor (14 steps up) is our larger vacation rental (vrbo #65480) and this unit is on the top (3rd) floor 14 additional steps up from the middle unit. The stairs leading from the middle to the top floor are 36" wide, in case that is an issue for you.

During the day we are right in the middle of all Avalon has to offer; hustling and bustling with activity. And virtually everyone who takes the ferry walks right past our property, so if you are a people watcher or enjoy seeing all the activity in the harbor; you'll be in heaven. At night however, after the 'day trippers' go home and the businesses close, everything calms down around us.

This unit is like a small 1 bedroom apartment and offers a separate bedroom with queen bed, a remodeled bathroom with stall shower, a remodeled fully stocked kitchen and a small living room with small table & chairs and sofa. The living room has a TV and 2 sets of sliding glass doors that open onto the LARGE WRAPAROUND DECK WITH SPECTACULAR 210 DEGREE VIEWS. There is a gas BBQ on the side deck. BBQ and dine on the deck while you enjoy spectacular views. We also have free wireless internet access.

Our beloved home is 110 years old and sound can travel between floors. Therefore, unless you have rented both floors, we have a quiet time policy with reduced TV, music and talking levels after 10:00 PM and before 8:00 AM.

WHY STAY ANYWHERE ELSE? This property offers you the BEST location; the BEST beachfront view decks in town; and the very BEST vacation rental value for your money. We get many repeat guests year after year; you'll see why!

It is away from the noise of the bars, but it's still right in the mix of things as you can sit and watch golf carts and people walk by. (Rental golf carts only run from about 9:30-6:00). It is also an easy fairly level 12 minute walk from the boat terminal; however with luggage you might prefer to take a taxi (cost @$18).

Up the spiral staircase is the master bedroom with tall ceiling, a California King Bed, Smart 50" TV with TV Apps, Dresser and French Patio Doors. Master Bedroom has the best view in the house with a large picture window. The master bathroom has dual sinks, shower and a two person large jetted tub with a Bay Window. The master bedroom also has a twin bed and an option for a Queen Blowup. Please note the inside spiral staircase is tight. We recommend moving items up to master bedroom using the exterior staircase when possible. The patio outside the master bedroom has comfortable seating for four.

Located in Hamilton Cove on Catalina Island, this newly remodeled condo offers a peaceful stay for the entire family. Here you will enjoy beautiful ocean views with a balcony to entertain outside. The relaxing waves crashing below will keep your mind away from everyday stress. Community includes pool, spa, exercise room, tennis courts, private beach and private pier with a dock as well as a playground for the children. Condo has newly installed A/C. Please note unit has stairs.

The best way to get to the condo is the use of a taxi from the boats. Tell the taxi driver you are going to "Hamilton Cove". The condo is located at "Building 1 unit 60" or tell them "1-60".

The condo is on a hillside and you can access the place either from the top or the bottom of the hill. It's easier to walk down stairs than up them (obviously), so we suggest the taxi drop you off at the top. Tell the taxi driver to drop you off "at the top at the second entrance to the first building". This way you just walk down to unit 60 and enjoy the ocean view on the way down.

The front door has a lockbox and a unique code will be provided to you via text on the day of arrival. There are two keys, one for the door and the other for the brand new 6-seater golf cart parked at the bottom of the stairs. Just walk to the right when exiting the stairs and the golf cart is in space 60. You can use this golf cart around in the community and drive it into and around town.

There are 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed. The couch is a sleeper sofa with a queen mattress. In addition, we have two queen air mattresses in the guest bedroom closet

The condo comes with free use of a golf cart. This is a brand new golf cart that seats 6. There is an assigned parking spot at the condo

We have many items for infants and toddlers including high chair, toddler inflatable bed, crib, door gate, safety locks for cabinets, outdoor portable chair, toys, step stool, and more. Let me know if need something and we may have it or can possibly get it.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Our Catalina home has a queen size bed in one bedroom; a double bed and a double futon in the second bedroom and a single chair bed downstairs. While it works well for a family with kids, it is awkward for three(3) adult couples.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF RENTAL:

- Violation of any rules/ordinances listed below may result in fine(s) and/or immediate eviction. Renter agrees that any such fines will be charged to the credit card on file:

-All cancellations subject to a $75 cancellation fee regardless of time frame.

- No house parties: An unauthorized party or event at the property will lead to your immediate removal from the property. The city of Avalon has strict vacation rental ordinances regarding parties and any violation can result in fines up to $2,000. Your cooperation is appreciated.

- No outdoor music allowed at any volume at any time of day (This includes any music, at any volume, on any device such as a cell phone) any indoor music which can be heard from the street OR from the neighboring property is prohibited.

- No smoking indoors. Smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere inside the house. If smoking outside, please make sure to use an ashtray and collect all cigarette litter.

- Occupants must not exceed the number of people advertised. (Per city law)

- GOLF CARTS: Not all properties offer a golf cart. Drivers must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license. If the use of golf cart is abused or the rules violated, you will forfeit the use of the golf cart for the rest of your stay. Fines also may be assessed against your credit card or security deposit.

- Please do not place hot or wet plates or cups directly on furniture, use coasters.



HOUSEKEEPING & MAINTENANCE:
