If you want to be in the heart of town and walk anywhere this is it. It is on the first block, steps to the sand and steps to any restaurant or bar. Right next door to the Catalina Island Conservancy so easy if you want a tour or event. Two nice decks, you can have a drink and enjoy the views or people watch. All newly redone, nice everything. Nice new TV. It technically is a one bedroom but it is 1100 sq ft with two euroloungers that fold out and all bedding/towels included. This is a fun place to go and you will love it, we do.

A Thick sofa mattress is also available if needed. This Condo has Air Conditioning( portable) Only 2 others in Ham Cove do. We have ceiling fans and floor fans as well. At the private,secure Ham Cove villas, you'll feel the comforts of home and you get to use the Golf Cart!!! 2) We love animals but our unit is allergy-friendly, so you will have to leave beloved pets at home. Certified Service Dogs are allowed, but because deep cleaning is required if ANY animal has been inside the property, a $250 will be assessed. Thank you for your understanding.

3) The HOA will fine us if you bring a drone, and we would have to pass that hefty charge on to you, so best to leave your drone safe at home!

4) No shoe or hair dyes or any chemicals that would damage our property are allowed please.

5) We are a non-smoking, allergy-friendly property.

This condo is Oceanfront with No Obstructions and you'll feel On Top of the Actual Beach you're so close(see pix). Leave windows or French doors open overnight to hear the waves lap the ocean.
The Kitchen has all amenities with a Combination Drip/Kuerig coffeemaker, Large Refrigerator, range/oven, New Non-stick pots and pans, pantry. Everything to feel at home and cook if you want. The BBQ on the balcony is huge and has 2 Propane tanks to ensure you don't run out. We've tried to think of everything!
There's a separate bathtub(for kids or if that's your thing) and a separate shower-whatever your needs. It is away from the noise of the bars, but it's still right in the mix of things as you can sit and watch golf carts and people walk by. (Rental golf carts only run from about 9:30-6:00). It is also an easy fairly level 12 minute walk from the boat terminal; however with luggage you might prefer to take a taxi (cost @$18).

We are also just 3 minutes from the Catalina Golf Course (we have golf clubs you can use) and a 3-4 minute walk to the main plaza where all the sightseeing tours are. From the boat terminal we are an easy 12 minute walk, but if you prefer you can take a taxi.

Catalina's Premier Bay View Vacation Home. Views Views Views… from this vantage point you can see everything from almost every room. Partially newly re-modeled in 2014, 5 bedroom, 3 baths. Large dining area for 14, wet bar, fireplace, full kitchen with granite countertops, newly upgraded bathrooms. Shared patio deck area 2 flights of stairs down. Very easy walk to town, beaches and boats. From this hillside perch sit back with a glass of wine and watch the boats, birds and sealife move about. At night keep you eye out for the family of deer that roam the park below. Have your carrots or apples ready.

This house is NOT handicapped accessible. There are about 60 stairs to get into the home. Once you get to the top, you'll agree the stairs were worth the climb. Also not recommended for toddler age children or elderly due to the amount of stairs outside and inside. Rolling luggage recommend for the walk from the ferry. Or you may take a taxi.

There was a washer and dryer but we did not use it, you would need to bring your own soap. Gas grill out back was great. All towels and bedding provided as well as beach towels.The grocery store was very close and I was glad we did not try to bring groceries from the mainland. Prices were a little higher but the lack of hassle was great.I would strongly recommend you give this property a look for your future family gathering. We would definitely stay here again."

The entire unit has been remodeled this past year including the restroom with a modern motion sensed vanity mirror, a kitchen with new appliances, unique redwood tile, white granite countertops & a smart tv fully loaded with Netflix and all new furniture throughout the unit.

It's important to acknowledge that there are 96 STEPS leading to and from the condo and NO PETS are allowed in the unit.

The condo is also equipped with an amazing view of the ocean (lookout for whales and dolphins)

If you enjoy tennis, miniature golf, swimming, working out, croquet, badminton, snorkeling, or even feeding the local deer. I do have most of the items in the unit for those activities, so please make sure you bring anything extra that you may need to make the best of your time in the Cove. You'll love it there...I fell in love my first visit. As far as transportation to Hamilton Cove, there will be a number of Taxi-Vans waiting as you walk off Catalina Express.
The keys will be waiting for you in the unit. Call me if you have any trouble or have any questions.If you have issues that need to be addressed in person, I have a local manager on the island, her number is (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Please remember check out is at 10am, we have guest checking in that same afternoon. FYI- If you do work out in the morning, there are usually a school of dolphin that swim by the Cove every morning between 7am - 9am, and you can see them clearly from the gym while running/walking on the treadmill. I'd also suggestion calling The Inn On Mt Ada and making a lunch reservation, it's one of my favorite places to eat on the island. In addition, stop by Luau Larry's and have a WIKIWAKI (and get a free straw hat) some time during your visit. BTW, the unit will be unlocked and the keys are in the unit. Check-in is at 3 pm and check out is at 10 am. Please don't forget normal check out is at 10am. Let me know if you have any other questions.

- "Perfect week workcation. I wanted to hear and see the ocean while I remote worked early hours of the day and then be able to vacation in the afternoon and this property delivered. The property manager was in contact before my arrival which was a nice touch. The unit is as described and pictured- clean, plenty of storage, fully equipped kitchen, great wifi and nice updates with the renovation that was done. There are cameras in the exterior of the unit- one by front entrance and two off the balcony entrances. There are 2 outlets with usb ports- one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The balcony area is shared and the views are spectacular. The unit is located in building one. There are about 7 flights (96 steps) to walk up from the bottom paved area next to the pool where the unit’s golf cart is parked. Alternatively, you can walk down 8 flights (102 steps) from the top near the entrance to the community. There is no AC but ceiling fans and ocean breeze were great. There is heat if you come during cooler months. In the double doors next to the unit’s front door is a washer and dryer which was greatly appreciated! There is a private beach on property with roped off area for swimming/snorkeling: I would recommend water shoes as its a bit rocky like all the beaches on the east side of the island. There is also a pool, gym, tennis court and putting green onsite. The unit is about 5 mins from the Beach club and 10-15mins from town. The gas powered golf cart was nice to get around town. There is one gas station close to town if you need to top it off. Thanks so much for a great week. I would definitely stay again."

- "Amazing place to stay! The views were beautiful. White buildings with clay roof tiles. These houses are built on the hillside and it looks like you’re out in Greece! The property has a private beach, mini golf course, tennis courts, gym, pool and spa for all the residents/ renters all with a ocean view. Avalon gets a little crazy with all the tourists and Hamilton Cove were with VRBO is at js away from the tourists. It’s nice and mellow over here. The best part was the golf cart. Having access to one 24/7 was HUGE! Our favorite part of the trip was driving all around the island. Definitely would recommend this VRBO to any one. I wish I was still there!"

- "This Hamilton Cove Condo is absolutely Heaven. The complex itself is beautiful and well maintained and reminds one of being somewhere in Europe, Greece, Italy. The unit carries this even further with Mediterranean colors, furnishings and accoutrements. The upstairs and downstairs are very privately separated such that you can't even hear the others TV. We stayed five nights with two couples and could be together or be apart with ease. The kitchen is well equipped and allowed us to BBQ and cook breakfast and dinners. The balconies are awesome and best was the view!!! We would reccomend this condo to anyone!"
