4 spacious bedrooms sit on either side of the Great Room, noted for it’s beautiful high Cyprus ceiling. 1 room has 2 King size beds, 2 twin size beds and a futon in a separate area, and a full bath with shower. 1 room has a king size bed and a full bath with shower. 1 room has a queen size bed, a futon, and a full bath with shower. And 1 room has a queen size bed, a futon, and a half bath in the room with an outdoor shower. There is also a cot that can be used if needed. There is a sitting room with a full scale entertainment center, 60” TV, and bar. We have Starlink hi-speed WIFI.

There will be an extra fee of $25 per person/ per night on parties of more than 8 due to an increased usage of power, water, and cleaning costs.

The open concept living room kitchen is ideal for preparing meals with your friends and family, which may be served in the dining area or the big patio. The kitchen is equipped with 16-Piece place setting, wine and champagne glasses and a Keurig coffee machine.

One of the main allures of the property is the expansive entertainment terrace, set with pool, BBQ, fire place and seating for 12 people for dining. Edged by the natural tropical gardens, here on the sunny deck you will marvel at the long distance sea views and gorgeous clear nights, surrounded by thousands of stars.

Facing the valley lies the most captivating feature of the Villa. The Villa boasts a tropical garden with multiple wooden decks and terraces that are connected by several bridges and pathways. The pathways connect a number of enticing sites, including another outdoor fireplace.

ACTIVITIES
Three miles away on the North Shore is the famous Cane Bay Beach, rated as one of the top dive sites in the entire Caribbean. This is also meeting point for sunset beach bars and incredible restaurants.
Take a a two mile hike with spectacular views of Annaly Bay and Carambola Beach (or take an adventurous Jeep tour) to St Croix's famous Tide Pools or try the Carambola Zipline or Horseback riding, right at the entrance to the Carambola Golf Course.
Another one of St Croix’s attractions is The Bioluminescent Bay in Salt River Bay National Park. It’s the historic site that Christopher Columbus landed on his second voyage to the New World, but come by night and see the water glow!
The Villa is also within a 15-minute drive to the island’s two rum distilleries (Captain Morgan and Cruzan), where you can tour the facilities and learn about the process of making our island's signature rums.
Danish architecture awaits you in the two towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted where you will find many historic buildings, old forts, fishing charters and duty free shopping! Try your luck at Divi Carina Bay Casino on the island’s east end.

ABOUT CARAMBOLA GOLF CLUB
In colonial Danish times, the Carambola valley was a large estate for the cultivation of sugar cane. The ruins of an 18th-century sugar factory are still to be seen behind the golf course clubhouse. Sugar cane was grown in the valley until the early 1960's when the late Laurence Rockefeller bought most of the property in the area because he felt that it was an ideal location for the development of winter homes and a luxury resort.

To set this in motion he built the golf course as its centerpiece. While Mr. Rockefeller himself never did any further development in Carambola, a hotel was built on the north shore and over the years some one hundred homes have been built in the Carambola area. These homes range from spacious hill-top residences to condominium-style villas on the golf course, all within an exclusive gated community.

In addition to the amenities provided by the club, the close proximity to the beautiful North shore provides swimming from sandy beaches in warm Caribbean waters, boating, fishing, and scuba diving, all making it an exceptionally desirable warm-weather home location.
NOTE: The Golf Club is under new management. Almost a million dollars has been invested in renovation and upgrades, including all new golf carts, a renovated clubhouse, and enhanced groundskeeping. Carambola is truly a paradise for golf and nature lovers!

We live on the North Shore Scenic Route, with some of the best views of the island. Our home and apartments sit above Windsor's Forest, a nature preserve. Deer regularly roam through the neighborhood and yard. We're just a few minutes from Cane Bay Beach, 10-15 from Christiansted, and 15-20 from Fredericksted. One of the most central spots on the island. You'll need to rent a car if you're staying with us on the North Shore, preferably with some height to it to help with the mountain roads. We recommend a Jeep. On the island, many of the roads are unpaved, or need to be repaved (pot holes everywhere!) Do not wait until the last minute to try and secure a rental vehicle. Make your reservation now. With workers and tourists, many times and vehicles cannot be secured the same day you arrive without a reservation. Besides, renting a Jeep means you get to take the top off and enjoy the island life the way it should be! :) We live in the mountains on St. Croix. It's beautiful, but the roads are not always maintained well by the Virgin Islands Government. We live on a dirt road, require you have a car rental at minimum (no public transport), and we recommend that you rent a Jeep or SUV when staying with us. In general, roads on St. Croix are not that great. Jeeps are the most popular vehicles on island, so be sure to rent one early!

Situated on a hillside area, the rental boasts a breathtaking view of St. Croix. Except for occasional noise from distant areas, the area is typically very quiet. It is a one-of-a-kind setting where individuals can unwind/work without interruption. Notably, special discount is offered to Soldiers/Mil Ret/Vets, & Ret Guests. I try to list important information for guests to be aware of their expectations and surroundings. Since, I don’t like surprises, I try my best to extend the same to my guests. If you need clarification about anything listed below please do not hesitate to contact me via the Airbnb platform:

The rental space is located downstairs of my home. It is the guest's private area. It is similar to a hotel-style setting. There is no kitchen or living room area in the rental, but there is a designated space with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, etc., for the guests to utilize. A coffee pot is also available for coffee lovers to make their own coffee. Guests also have their own porch area, and there is a shared deck that can also be utilized. The space is always clean and extremely comfortable for guests to relax during their stay.

An additional Military Discount will be applied to all bookings for Soldiers (Active or M-Day), Military Retirees, and Veterans with a valid ID Card. Please present your own individual ID Card. Let me know your status on the special offer.

A special rate will also be offered to all returning customers.

Discounted rates are considered for teachers, nurses, doctors, and emergency workers who wants to book the rental for more than 14+ days.

Local rate may be applicable for visitors from the other Virgin Islands, but it will only be applicable if the current rate at the time of booking supersedes the local rate. Contact me via Airbnb for rate information.

I do make exception for children to stay at the rental, but it will be at the guest own risk since the rental is not fully childproof. Individuals who desire further information or clarification can contact me via the Airbnb platform.

Pet clarification: I do allow small dogs to stay with the guest/guests, but they must have a cage for them to sleep in. Pets sleeping on the beds is not allowed. An additional charge will be implemented if pet hair is found on either of the beds, or if an excessive amount of hair is found throughout the rental. No mid, large, or oversized pets are allowed in the rental. Pet Fee is applicable.

St. Croix is known for having millipedes (aka “gongolos”) all over the island, especially when it’s their season. The season for them seemed to have changed as of 2024, and they may be around anytime throughout the year. They may be seen on a regular basis from as early as May, and they can be a nuisance to individuals who do not know what they are. The exterminators do not have a treatment to get rid of them, but they do apply various methods to help control them, so please keeps the doors close to avoid them from getting inside the rental. I do my best to sweep them up around the exterior areas upstairs of the house during the day and at the early evening hours. They are seen more frequently at nights than during the daytime hours. I do realize that most guests are on the island for vacation purposes, but you can help in keeping them away from the front porch section of the rental by just sweeping them away especially since they usually die by early morning. If you keep them on the porch floor, they will just continue to accumulate there unless if I do go downstairs, within your rental space, to sweep them from the porch.

The rental space has 2 A/C units (1 in each room), please turn them off when leaving from the rental, or when it’s not necessary. To begin with, we have some of the best island breeze in St. Croix, and it has the tendency of keeping any space cool enough that you might just forget about the A/C for a while. Secondly, electricity is very “pricey” in the Virgin Islands; therefore, if the rule is not being observed by the guests then an additional daily fee of $10 per unit, or $60 wkly fee per unit will be added to the guest bill, so please take note of the requirement.

Self check-in is available with keyless entry. Guests will be provided an unlock code for the door, and it’s usually sent out about an hour prior to arrival.

A microwave and mini-refrigerator are available for guests' personal usage in a separate area of the rental, but no storage of trash is allowed in that area. Trash cans are located in the rental, but they are not for the storage of food items. There are larger trash bins located upstairs in the yard area for guests to utilize. Please clean up after yourself because bugs and critters have their own ways of getting into homes where food is being stored.

A coffeepot is available for usage upon request by the guest/guests. It is not being stored in the rental because it is a less frequently used item utilized by the guests.

Beach towels are available for guests to utilize at their convenience.

Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc.), hand sanitizer, hand soap, and towels are available for guest usage.

The laundry room is for my personal use, but if any guest wishes to utilize the washer and dryer then a fee will be charged to compensate for the utilities. The space is not catered for guests, but it is clean, and you will accomplish your task. A fee of $ 3.00 for the washer, and $ 1.50 for the dryer will be charged, and that cost will be for each load. Please have your own washing products to wash and dry your clothes, and be honest about the number of loads that you will be washing.

For security reasons, I am requesting that all guests who does not have a photo on their Airbnb Profile to provide me with a picture of him/herself as well as for all other guests who will be staying at the rental during their stay. The photos must be provided within 72 hrs of the reservation.

As it pertains to individuals who do not wish to comply with the photo requirement: Airbnb Personnel will be contacted because the reservation will be cancel.

Guest access
There is an open deck, and a BBQ Grill on the property that the guests can utilize. Please clean the grill after usage or a cleaning fee will be charged prior to check-out. Grill cleaner spray will be provided upon request. Netflix is available “free of charge” for guests entertainment.

No grilling after 9pm because of the smoke, but the side burner can be utilized anytime for cooking purposes.

Guests with reservations for 15+ days will be offered an additional discount or have “Free Laundry Access”. Guest will make the choice upon arrival. Guest who choose to have “Free Laundry Access” must have his/her own washing supplies to wash their clothing items. Only clothing items are allowed in the washing machine and/or dryer. If either the washing machine or dryer is utilized to wash/dry other items then the guest/guests will no longer have “free access” to the laundry room during his/her stay.

Other things to note
An additional 10% Military Discount will be applied to all bookings for Soldiers (Active or M-Day), Military Retirees, and Veterans with a valid ID Card. The discount will also be applied to all returning guests bookings.

Discounted rates are also considered for Teachers, and Emergency Services Workers with a Valid ID Card for 14+ days stay.

The property is equipped with a solar system that automatically switches to battery power at night. We kindly request that you exercise caution with power usage during night hours, as excessive consumption can cause the battery to shut down when it reaches 20%. Please note that the local utility company on the island is not very reliable, and if the solar system switches to the utility grid during nighttime hours and then their power shuts off, there will be no power until one of the systems comes back online. Therefore, we kindly request that you utilize power wisely during nighttime hours to preserve energy and to avoid such issues. For instance, if a room is not being utilized, please keep the A/C unit for that room off to conserve energy, as this can go a long way.

Please keep in mind that this home is located mid-island so renting a car or hiring a tour guide/driver is recommended. Most beaches are at least a 15-20 minute drive from the property.

Your health and safety is my priority. Using the CDC guidelines, this space is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly after each reservation is completed. The cleaners are paid 100% of the cleaning fee and are paid to disinfect and tidy the home, not to clean obnoxious messes. Guests who leave excessive messes behind will receive an invoice or pay request to pay for additional cleaning hours.
