Clean and cosy, with a comfortable modern upstairs bedroom with views across the bay towards Whiting Bay. You can't see Holy Isle from the house, but you can from the end of the drive. It took us a beautiful 25 minute walk to get to the pier in Lamlash, along the quiet shore road and footpath. Great for couples, we found it a little challenging to manage with a wee one (17 months) as the downstairs is quite small, with lots of furniture and a small open plan kitchen. Otherwise it was smashing and a great location to explore Lamlash and the island."

- "This place is a little gem! It's small and rustic but immaculate and Isobel has thought of every little detail to make your stay comfortable. There is space for a car if you're driving (although I brought my bike!) The cottage sits at the back of the owners property, but they were very discreet and I did not see them all week (although I knew they were there if I needed anything!). The kitchen has every utensil you can think of which is perfect for a self catering option. There is also a washing machine if you need it, and a lovely garden area for drying (if you get the weather!) The bed was comfortable and there is a separate dressing area with hair dryer - iron - etc. Honestly, a wonderful little place and I will 100% be back - highly recommended! The indoor pool is fantastic and a good size, our daughter probably would have stayed in it all day if she had been allowed. And the beach at the end of the garden is great for paddle boarding. The house is well equipped with everything you could need. The lounge is a lovely relaxation space with that view. Lamlash itself has good facilities and it’s a small co-op and a few decent pubs / restaurants which are all very walkable (and for further supplies Brodick is just a short drive). The island is easy to get around - we enjoyed Blackwaterfoot Beach, the Machrie standing stones, swimming in the pools at Glen Rosa and visiting the Arran Distillery."

With stunning views over Brodick Bay to Brodick Castle and Goat Fell, our lovely bright guest room is ideally placed just 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. We are on a hill above Brodick Bay, in a quiet residential area, set above the sea front, within walking distance of the sea front, golf course and local amenities.
Well behaved dogs and their owners are very welcome (2max) and there are a multitude of walks and trails around the island.

The space
You have a large but not completely dog secure garden.
We have fitted a key safe so that you can check yourselves in and out.
Your room is of a good size, with a double bed and king sized quilt. The room is accessible for those with limited mobility. The short path from the road is narrow in places, and there is a step into the house. Your private shower room has one step into it. Otherwise everything is on one level.
You will have tea and coffee making facilities provided.
There is also a table suitable for working at your laptop, a television, and plenty of room for your dogs if you have them.
Arran is a haven for golfers with seven courses to playing the island. For nature lovers it is just the place to be! Apart from the expected sea birds you may be lucky enough to see seals, otters, red squirrels, red deer and even golden and sea eagles!
There are many hikes, walks and trails both locally and around the island.
Dogs are welcome almost everywhere, most cafes and hotels have dog areas, but if the day is too hot for your fur baby, or you want to take a trip to Holy Isle, we can provide a dog sitting service for you by arrangement (£10 per three hour session).
We have plenty of dog towels, and can provide bedding for your dogs, but please bring their own bowls.

We live above the guest room so we are easily accessible. You can ring, text or message us and we will come down to you. We will pop down to check that you have all you need regularly, and to replenish teas and coffees.

Please be aware that ferries are liable to disruption in bad weather, so please keep an eye on the CalMac website. It’s worth considering travel insurance for such an eventuality.
Also, please book your ferry immediately before booking with us.

Newly renovated beach-front apartment, ideally located in the centre of Lamlash village, close to all local ameneties and opposite the village green.

The accomodation is ideal for two people; there is an open plan living/kitchen area with a separate double bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower. The flat is on the first floor and has its own separate entrance.

Spacious studio flat with private external spiral staircase entrance at the edge of Lamlash on the beautiful Isle of Arran. The space
Your private entrance is accessed behind the property via an external spiral staircase to a small balcony which looks across the rear garden. The studio is spacious, bright and airy, with its own ensuite shower room and galley kitchenette. Facilities include; air fryer, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, two ring electric hob, sandwich toaster machine and a slow cooker. This space also includes a smart TV with a basic sky package, information folder for guests containing a 20% discount card for meals and drinks at a local hotel. ( card must be returned to studio)

Guest access
Guests are asked to park directly in front of the property, it’s a quiet cul-de-sac. The private access is then around to the rear of the house and up a spiral staircase.

Access via a spiral staircase at the rear of the property. Cycles and golfing equipment can be safely stored for guests in a lockable shed.

Small ‘C' Listed cosy cottage in the heart of Lamlash. One of the back houses in famous Hamilton Terrace. Just a stones throw from Lamlash beach.
Cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 4 people.
Due to the steep stairs it's not suitable for the infirm and babies/toddlers.
While we do accept dogs, we only accept small ones due to the size of the cottage.
We advise guests to take out travel insurance, Airbnb offer at time of booking. Travel to an island can be affected by weather, ferry problems etc.

The space
We offer a bright comfortable double room with your own adjoining private shower room and toilet. The bed, bedding and pillows are all new and good quality. We have a cosy living room with open fire, TV and lots to read, and a dining space in the garden room overlooking the valley. You are welcome to make use of our kitchen at any time to make drinks or meals, and we can also provide some DIY breakfast ingredients by prior arrangement for a small fee. Outside, there's a private garden with informal seating areas for you to use.

Other things to note
Torbeg is a great base to explore the western, more ‘Hebridean’, side of the island, offering peaceful beaches, ancient sites and fantastic walks. With fabulous views of the valley and of Arran’s northern mountains, we are also less than a mile away from the village of Blackwaterfoot with all the local facilities you could wish for, including a general store, garage, artesan baker, hotel bar and restaurant, golf course and one of the best beaches on the whole island.

If you’re walking the Arran Coastal Way but want to stay in just one place, for a small fee, we can also drop you off and pick you up at your convenience as you complete the various stages around the island. We are also on the 324 (north island) bus route.

We are sorry that we cannot accommodate dogs as we have sheep nearby, and our drive is open to the road.

The space
Rock Cottage used to be two cottages. You will have one end of it all to yourselves. With your own private living room and bathroom, and private stairs to your double bedroom, you'll be able to make yourselves completely at home during your visit to Arran. The bathroom and living room are on the ground floor, and the bedroom alone on the first floor. Access to your private area is through the shared front door.

You will enter through the shared main front door, but will be able to have complete privacy behind your lockable internal entry door.

Other things to note
We have two adorable Egyptian mau cats, who won't bother you in your living space, but, as we use the whole cottage as our home when we don't have guests, definitely explore everywhere at other times. So Rock Cottage isn't ideal if you have cat allergies.

The cottage is a few hundred years old, so comes with the quirks and characteristics old homes have - it creaks sometimes, and has the personality of a cottage that's been around a while. It is full of character, has everything you need, and is very welcoming.

As we use the whole house as our own a lot of the time, there are many of our own items in the area. The baskets and cupboards in the bathroom are not there for guest use, but for our own storage. This also applies to the shelves up the stairs, the bookcase, and the cupboard of miniatures. Please respect these accordingly.
