We had to use the towels to sop up the water and had none for our showering needs. Again, the folks at the café called him for us and he had not shown up before we left. It definitely marred an otherwise nice holiday. "

Clean and cosy, with a comfortable modern upstairs bedroom with views across the bay towards Whiting Bay. You can't see Holy Isle from the house, but you can from the end of the drive. It took us a beautiful 25 minute walk to get to the pier in Lamlash, along the quiet shore road and footpath. Great for couples, we found it a little challenging to manage with a wee one (17 months) as the downstairs is quite small, with lots of furniture and a small open plan kitchen. Otherwise it was smashing and a great location to explore Lamlash and the island."

- "This place is a little gem! It's small and rustic but immaculate and Isobel has thought of every little detail to make your stay comfortable. There is space for a car if you're driving (although I brought my bike!) The cottage sits at the back of the owners property, but they were very discreet and I did not see them all week (although I knew they were there if I needed anything!). The kitchen has every utensil you can think of which is perfect for a self catering option. There is also a washing machine if you need it, and a lovely garden area for drying (if you get the weather!) The bed was comfortable and there is a separate dressing area with hair dryer - iron - etc. Honestly, a wonderful little place and I will 100% be back - highly recommended! The indoor pool is fantastic and a good size, our daughter probably would have stayed in it all day if she had been allowed. And the beach at the end of the garden is great for paddle boarding. The house is well equipped with everything you could need. The lounge is a lovely relaxation space with that view. Lamlash itself has good facilities and it’s a small co-op and a few decent pubs / restaurants which are all very walkable (and for further supplies Brodick is just a short drive). The island is easy to get around - we enjoyed Blackwaterfoot Beach, the Machrie standing stones, swimming in the pools at Glen Rosa and visiting the Arran Distillery."

- "We had such a lovely trip! The cottage was beautiful, clean and very cosy. There was everything that youd need or want including board games, tv, access to local ammenities ect. It was a huge bonus for us that the host allowed our dogs to stay too, they are a huge part of our family so getting to take them made our trip extra special. The garden at the cottage was beautiful too.The beds were so comfortable, usually i have trouble sleeping if im staying somewhere new- this wasnt a problem at all.We would really reccomend this cottage, we were sad to leave. We will deffo be back."
