Druim Buidhe ("Yellow Ridge") is situated in an elevated position near Loch Ness, with fantastic views over the village of Drumnadrochit, Loch Ness and the Monadh Liath mountains. We are a rural location with a working sheep farm nearby and easy access for walkers onto the heather-covered hills behind the property. Druim Buidhe is a short drive along a farm track from the tarmac road.

Druim Buidhe is light, airy, spacious and modern. An open plan kitchen/dining/living area leads to the bedroom, which has en suite walk-in shower and toilet. The bed is UK king size. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and kettle, as well as a good selection of cooking pans, utensils, glassware and crockery (including cafetière and teapot). 1. Mobile signal can be weak and intermittent. However, our lodges have free Wi-Fi so you will able to stay in touch with the outside world (if you really want to!).

2. The property is situated in four acres of land, shared with the owners' home and a second holiday let, with a large, sloping lawn and some wilder areas, all of which you are welcome to enjoy. There is a small pond and an accessible stream that runs along one side of the property. There are also wood-stores around the property and large log-piles. All this provides a great place for children to explore. But we ask that parents please remain aware of the potential dangers and supervise their children at all times. In places, there is a steep drop down to the stream, and there is no fence.

3. We are next to a sheep farm with easy access to the hillside and would ask that walkers respect the countryside code (for example, leaving all gates as you find them and being sensitive to livestock, especially during lambing season).

Our Stylish Garden flat is on the historic Lewiston Road of Drumnadrochit, just a 10- 15-minute walk from the village centre. Close to Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and local amenities like pubs, café, supermarkets, restaurants, petrol, and bus, it is an ideal base for a short or long visit.

Garden Flat is located in a stunning part of the Scottish Highlands. You will have Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Great Glen Way, Glen Affric Hiking within easy walking distance. Within 1-2 hours by car you can reach Fort William for Ben Nevis, Glen Coe, Isle of Skye, Cairngorms National Park, Outlander sites, and various whisky distilleries.

Our Flat has been renovated to a high standard with a modern bathroom, kitchen and new flooring. We have decorated the flat to create a comfortable home away from home, perfect for a family holiday. It has 2 bedrooms: a spacious double bedroom for 2 adults and a smaller room with a bunkbed, ideal for 2 kids or a snug fit for 2 adults. Additionally, the large living room has a double sofa bed for 2 more guests.

There is also an outdoor patio with a picnic table for eating outside and a free parking space for one vehicle. The flat is fully equipped for a cosy and comfortable stay, and we maintain it to a high standard of cleanliness. We live only a couple of minutes away. Our guests benefit from having a local host nearby for travel tips or assistance.

Please note that the flat is ideally suited for 4 people, although it can sleep up to 6. If booking for more than 4, we recommend considering the sleeping arrangements in the small bunk room and the sofa bed in the living room (pics provided).

- "The house was just as described. Sunroom was amazing. Bed was very comfortable, and place was very clean. The deli next door is literally feet from the property however they close down @ 1600 so it is not loud/busy long. Right next to the deli is a great food truck and pub so that is super convenient. The only negative I have to say is I had to accidentally misplaced my "access" information to get in and the Managment company was EXTREMELY slow at replying (they did not reply to VRBO messages, and I had to call out of country to get someone to answer me) and then they were a little rude when I needed help. They did help however they treated me like I was dumb. Definitely not a deal breaker since the property was so nice. House 10 out of 10. Management company 5 out of 10."

- "This house was just as it looked in the photos. Very cozy and very good location. I do wish the bed was more comfortable and we did have issues with locking the door as the handle was not working correctly. The property manager informed us it was not working well but it was still functional. But the time we left it was extremely hard to lock the door on the way out. " - "This was such a wonderful property - it had absolutely everything! Very spacious, clean and the little details in decoration made it feel like home away from home. The kitchen is WELL stocked and the whole place is just so cozy. I can’t wait to come here to this little sleepy town again!"
