Lewis has some beautiful beaches and other interesting tourist attractions. There is plenty to see and do. Once you have explored Lewis you can easily manage a day trip to Harris from the cottage.

Our house is in the village of Back, 7 miles from Stornoway. We are on a working croft which gives access to the beach (bring your wellies! ).
The house has two double bedrooms (kingsize), two twin rooms, two bathrooms and two sitting areas, with one of each on each floor.
There is ample free parking for there cars in the secluded garden to the rear of the house.
We have a small utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities.
A barbecue for cooking the fish you caught in the nearby Gress river or any of the numerous lochs out on the moor.
Bird watchers are provided for with a selection of nesting birds around the mouth of the river, saltings and the forest.
Free wi fi is available throughout the house and oil central heating and electricity are included.
