It was a great spot to explore nature with the hikes and little lakes, but also close enough to go into the city. Hope Side and Manning park are a must. Also the Hope Recreation centre is amazing and the Lake in the Woods is a fun pit stop for a swim (be prepared for a steep climb down to it) If you wanted a down day the games and movies were fun. There was a fire ban so we couldn't have a bonfire but we had fun regardless. We came from the Okanagan and this area is cooler and rained, so it was wonderfully refreshing. Our crew (11 of us + 1 small fur member) had a great time and really enjoyed our time in Sunshine Valley."

Located on Highway 3, this Manning Park property features a heated indoor pool. A mini refrigerator is included in all units.The property doesn't have air conditioning in the accommodations. Cross-country ski and snowshoe trails are offered. The town of Hope is 34 mi away. A microwave and a coffee maker are provided in each unit at Manning Park Resort. Full kitchens with a dishwasher are included in cottages and chalets. Free toiletries are included for added convenience. An ice skating rink is featured at Manning Park Resort. Guests can relax in the heated indoor pool, hot tub or sauna. Sports courts and BBQ facilities are available. A restaurant and a pub are located on site. Harrison Hot Springs is about an hour and 20 minutes' drive and Princeton is about 45 minutes' drive from this property. The property doesn't have air conditioning in accommodations. While Manning Park Resort loves our animal guests, please be aware when it comes to pets we only allow dogs to stay on the resort with advance notice, for an additional fee.

Lots of room to store both summer and winter sports equipments in the garage. We had a great time and stay. Very impressed that the host considered the reviews from others and put the window screens up for the summer. One thing I need to point out is there are two broken steps on the staircase from garage to the main floor upon our arrival. Hopefully this will be fixed soon."

We are located on the east end of manning park provincial park at East gate. approximately 19km, 11 minute drive from manning park ski Resort . This is a rural area. If you love the outdoor than you will like it here. The location of the establishment is right off the #3 Crowsnest Highway. There is hiking trails, fishing , clean rivers, lakes, and Manning park resort nearby. ( please research before coming ) .

the only restaurant near us is at the Manning Park Resort, so bring food. There is a gas station/ convenience store only a 2 minute drive.
There is limited to no cell service at this location. WIFI is available via satellite. not good for gaming.

Summer activities include relaxing in the great outdoors, hiking, biking, canoe, fishing, swimming.

Winter activities outside your doorstep- snowshoeing, cross country skiing.
Aprox. 15 minutes from us-down hill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, snowshoeing, at manning park resort.

Enjoy our cabins hot tub year round by the river. We have an out door fire pit which is available seasonally depending on restrictions set by the province which we follow strictly.

We provide everything you need so you do not need to bring a lot with you. From towels to comfortable bed linens. A well stocked kitchen with cook wear and basic spices. Griddles, blender, baby bottle warmer, rice cooker and more. Our oven has an air fryer function.

For kids we have a pack n play crib and a few toys both inside and out.

Truly relax in our cozy cabin without a long drive from the city. Located near Manning Park, 15 minutes to the slopes and Lightening Lake. This cabin provides year round fun. The manning park area is full of hiking trails, biking, swimming, sledding, snow shoeing, ski and snowboarding.

We do not allow parties. We are a quiet community full of people who love adventure and the beauty of nature. We do NOT allow bachelor or bachelorette parties. If you want to throw a loud rowdy party please do not pick us. We have cameras on our exterior front and back of property. Our property is on Well water and septic.
Well behaved pets are welcome. Our neighbouring properties have pets as well.
We do not provide garbage removal so be prepared to bring it with you.
Fires are a concern in our community, we follow all of the regulations set out by the province for fires. Indoor fires are not permitted

The kitchen had a wide variety of kitchen appliances and all the tools you need for preppping those meals that we enjoyed on the deck dining area. We loved our stay here and will return next year!!! We are a new development and some of our neighbors are still in the progress of building so you may hear some construction noise, especially in the warmer seasons and during the week, But be sure to walk around the neighborhood to check out the variety of cool architecture!!

- "When most listings say 'mountain view' they mean on a clear day if you squint you can kinda see it out the bathroom window. Not this place! Snowcapped peak views abound - through every window (I didn't actually check every single one, but it's highly probable)! It is IN the mountains. The host was very friendly and prompt in reply. One of our kids messed up (repeatedly) on entering the key code after returning from a hike, which got us locked out. One quick text and we were inside in moments. I couldn't believe how quick the response was, we were very grateful for that. Note - we arrived on March 3rd. If you are not from around here you'll definitely want AWD if not 4WD if you're showing up around this time. The roads are steep and snowy. Saw a couple sports cars thinking they stood a chance and had a good laugh."

Sit and gaze at the stunning mountain view from a panoramic window in handcrafter cedar sauna.
You can quad or snowmobile right from your driveway and enjoy one of the best trails in BC.

The hot tub (which is a hot tub, not a whirlpool) is uninviting, too dark and no control of the lighting which goes out at 10pm and 2 high steps to get into it seemed dangerous. Deck needs some chairs to lounge in and enjoy the view of the small yard. Patio table seating was broken and therefore unusable. Our host was responsive and friendly. "

This beautiful suite is nestled in the woods in a small mountain community. If your goal is to get away from it all in a relaxing and fun atmosphere, you can come to the right place.

We are thirty minutes away from the Lodge at Manning Park where you can snowmobile, ski and snowshoe in the winter and swim, hike, canoe and paddle board in the summer. Also nearby are the Othello Tunnels, the city of Hope BC that has a thriving arts community, Kawkawa Lake for boating and fishing and the old town community of Yale.
The suite itself has a private entrance and hosts one very large bedroom with a fireplace and sitting area to snuggle in with a good book. The living room with a fireplace that has 1 fold out bed (not recommended for 5 and under) there is an open kitchenette with an eating bar where you can do almost anything but roast a turkey (but who wants to do that on a holiday anyway? :-) ). The bathroom is spacious and luxurious with heated tile floors. lots of hot water and a rain shower.
The suite is private and located downstairs from where the owners live. The ambiance is quite luxurious, champaign and strawberries style, so the perfect place to bring your sweetheart for a getaway. If we are around, you may even get invited for dinner.
You can rest your bones in the back yard and go for a walk in the neighbourhood to check out all of the beautiful cabins and log homes. Expect to get a hello from anyone you pass by on the road.
We are 15 minutes from Hope where you get gas and groceries, so make sure your tank is full and you bring the food you need. There is no pizza delivery here. :-) There is a local liquor store that also has a few emergency foods like milk and bread. Bring a cooler if your food will not fit in the mini fridge and make sure you leave them inside so it doesn't get invaded by the local critters. You will have internet access and cable TV with Netflix and Prime TV and cell service
