Enjoy our cabins hot tub year round by the river. We have an out door fire pit which is available seasonally depending on restrictions set by the province which we follow strictly.

We provide everything you need so you do not need to bring a lot with you. From towels to comfortable bed linens. A well stocked kitchen with cook wear and basic spices. Griddles, blender, baby bottle warmer, rice cooker and more. Our oven has an air fryer function.

For kids we have a pack n play crib and a few toys both inside and out.

Truly relax in our cozy cabin without a long drive from the city. Located near Manning Park, 15 minutes to the slopes and Lightening Lake. This cabin provides year round fun. The manning park area is full of hiking trails, biking, swimming, sledding, snow shoeing, ski and snowboarding.

We do not allow parties. We are a quiet community full of people who love adventure and the beauty of nature. We do NOT allow bachelor or bachelorette parties. If you want to throw a loud rowdy party please do not pick us. We have cameras on our exterior front and back of property. Our property is on Well water and septic.
Well behaved pets are welcome. Our neighbouring properties have pets as well.
We do not provide garbage removal so be prepared to bring it with you.
Fires are a concern in our community, we follow all of the regulations set out by the province for fires. Indoor fires are not permitted

- "When most listings say 'mountain view' they mean on a clear day if you squint you can kinda see it out the bathroom window. Not this place! Snowcapped peak views abound - through every window (I didn't actually check every single one, but it's highly probable)! It is IN the mountains. The host was very friendly and prompt in reply. One of our kids messed up (repeatedly) on entering the key code after returning from a hike, which got us locked out. One quick text and we were inside in moments. I couldn't believe how quick the response was, we were very grateful for that. Note - we arrived on March 3rd. If you are not from around here you'll definitely want AWD if not 4WD if you're showing up around this time. The roads are steep and snowy. Saw a couple sports cars thinking they stood a chance and had a good laugh."

The three thoughtfully designed bedrooms comfortably accommodate up to ten guests with an additional queen mattress in the loft sleeping one - two more adults. One king bed, three queen beds, and a daybed. With two full bathrooms, there's plenty of space for everyone to refresh and unwind.

This adorable rustic cabin sleeps 2 adults and 2 + children and offers 700sq+ ft over two levels and has indoor plumbing. The main level has a bedroom with single bunk beds, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, cozy living room including a wood burning fireplace for those cooler nights. The upper level has a queen bed, sitting area as well as a patio, overlooking the river.
Outside you have a front covered deck, side deck with a patio set and covered BBQ on the back deck. The cabin has a large campfire area overlooking the river and the campsites have private fire rings in each site to spend your evenings with family and friends. Firewood available on-site. The beach offers sandy areas for the kids and adults to enjoy.
Enjoy ATVing? You have direct access from the campground to endless kilometers of forest service roads and quad trails!!
Enjoy star-gazing? You’ll be amazed what you can see out here. There’s absolutely NO light pollution!!!
There are camping spaces available including one larger group tent/RV site if you have family or friends that would like to camp along with you. Campsites are all dry-camping. A central outhouse is available with one pit toilet and urinal.

-Both the cabin and campsites are pack it in, pack it out. You must remove all of your own garbage and recycling as there are no services in the area.
-You must bring your own drinking water.
-The cabin is off-grid. You must be mindful of your water and propane usage.

The space
Enjoy this spacious retreat, nestled in the mountains! The open layout and high ceilings create a bright and airy space to relax in as you take in the natural scenery right outside your doorstep.

You'll have access to the entire cabin during your stay. This includes a full, roomy kitchen and ample dining space as well as a comfortable living room, perfect to cozy up at the end of a day of adventure. The kitchen opens up onto a large balcony where you'll have a gas grill, fire pit and picturesque mountain views to enjoy. Plus, if you're staying on a clear night, you'll get to take in some incredible starry views of the night sky!

Relax in the hot tub and enjoy the stunning scenery & views of the night sky. The hot tub is on the lower level covered patio, allowing guests to enjoy it in any season.

There are 3 bedrooms, each of which sleeps 2 people - one bedroom with a queen bed is downstairs, and the other two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with a bunk bed - single on top and double on bottom) is upstairs. The pull out sofa bed in the living room is a double size.

Guests will have access to the entire space (1,300 sq feet) except the basement level.

We welcome individuals and families to enjoy and relax at our cabin. The cabin is not available for large gatherings or parties.

Guests will have full access to the entire cabin and all of its amazing amenities during their stay. This includes:

All three floors of living space

The fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining area

All bedrooms, including the kid-friendly loft with bunk beds

Three full bathrooms, one on each floor

The cozy main floor living room with fireplace and mountain views

The walkout patio with dining space, BBQ, fire pit, and lounge area

You'll have everything you need for a comfortable, memorable stay!

The only areas that are off-limits to guests are:

-A locked shed outside (used for owner storage)

-A couple of cupboards in the laundry room

-One locked closet in the lower-level bedroom, where we keep supplies for hosting

These areas are not needed during your stay and won’t interfere with your full enjoyment of the property.

We want you to feel right at home—and we’re happy to provide a space that’s all yours to relax, unwind, and make unforgettable memories.
Other things to note
We’ve done our best to ensure your stay is as comfortable and convenient as possible, especially for larger groups and families. Here are a few extra details to keep in mind:

-For families with little ones, we’ve included a highchair and a Pack ‘n Play crib with a mattress for your convenience which are stored in the ground floor closet outside of the bedroom/bathroom.

-The kitchen is stocked with cooking necessities including basic spices, cooking oils, and a full range of cookware and utensils.

-The dining table is set for 8, but we have 2 additional chairs that will fit the table so your whole group of 10 can dine together.

-Extra chairs are also available for the games table along with 2 portions to extend the table —you’ll find these in the ground floor closet as well.

-We have several camping chairs available for use around the outdoor campfire. There will be seats and a bench for use. The outdoor firepit chairs are located in the woodshed.

-We provide firewood for use at the outdoor fire pit. We ask that you try to limit excessive use of firewood/size of the fire. If you plan to have multiple fires or extended use, we recommend bringing extra firewood with you. Firewood is also available for purchase at the local store or in nearby Hope.

Kick back and relax in this newly built log cabin that sleeps 7-8 people. The King Master and large ensuite is located on the top floor loft, along with a small double sofa bed , Smart TV and working desk/workspace. The main floor has a Queen Bedroom, full bathroom and a comfortable Queen hide-a-bed in the living room.
Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen with the new gas range, water and ice in the fridge and a dishwasher for clean-up.
The large, peaceful 14 x 33ft south facing deck is well removed from any street noise and boasts beautiful views up and down the valley. Enjoy the outdoor gas fire pit in the summer or just lay out under the Milky Way, in full view, away from city lights! Take a walk through the tunnel under the highway or take a short drive across during summer weekends and you may get lucky to catch some bands playing on the outdoor stage. On the south side of the highway, there is also a lovely brook to walk along and dip your toes in.
No matter the season, there’s always plenty of activities in and around Sunshine Valley.
Enjoy all Manning Park has to offer, with the West Gate just 5 min away. Endless walks and hiking trails are available to explore as well as Manning Park Ski Resort, 40 min away. Winter activities in the area include; a toboggan hill across the road and an outdoor skating rink near the community gate entrance. Many residents use their snowmobiles and quads to get around the community and explore the many trails. Finish your evening cuddled up in front of the fireplace after a day out in the snow!
The quaint town of Hope is 15 min west, with access to all amenities. Shopping, Mountain View Brewery and of course, and if you’re feeling nostalgic, a self guided Rambo tour!

The space
The cabin is modern but cozy, and provides a private getaway with forest views.

The Primary Bed has a comfy king size bed, as well as lots of storage in the cupboard and under the bed. In the Second Bedroom you’ll find a Queen/Twin bunk bed with luggage storage underneath. Both bedrooms have black out blinds for a restful sleep.

In the Living Room you’ll find a deep, plush sectional, smart TV and propane fireplace. The cabinet is stocked with games, books and activities.

Our kitchen has modern European appliances, and stocked with all the serving ware, utensils, and Tupperware you need!

Right outside the Living Room and Primary Bedroom doors is a covered patio with outdoor living furniture, perfect for that morning coffee. In the backyard there is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a stocked wood shed.

Prefer to stay inside? Nestle in with a good book, fire up the wood stove and wile the day away!

This is a cabin in a treed mountain setting and is thoughtfully designed to be a relaxing retreat for you. Cozy and charming, but with all the comforts of home. Experience cabin life at its best, and have as much or little adventure as you like!

For cozy nights in, take advantage of our games cupboard, books and smart TV with Netflix. The more adventurous can explore the outdoors and all the back country has to offer. Don't forget to check out the nearby town of Hope (12 min away) where you can find all the services you would need, but with small town charm and character!

Although The Moosewood has electric heat, be sure to take advantage of the cozy wood stove. We've left it stocked with plenty of wood, kindling and paper for your stay. Stoke that fire, and enjoy the crackle and pop of the wood stove heat!

The Kitchen Features:
- Maple countertops (locally sourced and handcrafted)
- Open shelving, stocked with table-settings and a full set of pots and pans.
- Full fridge, microwave (in the mud room), dishwasher, toaster
- Vintage propane oven/stove. Please note: the gas oven is smaller than a full size oven and seems to cook at a lower temperature. Best not to plan your meals around a lot of baking/roasting. The city of Hope is a short distance away and has dining options as well.
- Kitchen staples provided including: EVOO, basic spices, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, flour, sugar, baking soda and powder, white vinegar
- Beverages: a selection of teas, regular coffee beans and hot chocolate. We also supply a kettle, coffee maker, blade coffee grinder, Chemex and Aeropress

Living Room:
- Woodstove, stocked with plenty of wood, kindling and paper for your stay.
- Electric heat throughout the cabin
- Comfortable and stylish leather couch; vintage army cot bench, Moroccan poufs, benches and chair

You will have the place to yourself, the only exception is the locked basement storage area.

Other things to note
This cabin is located in the mountains, on the hillside. In the winter, tire chains may be needed to climb the last 100 meters up the hill (which is plowed regularly). There is a snow shovel on site, and it snows in the mountains! You may need to use the shovel to clear your path to the cabin, if there has been a fresh snowfall.

It can be cool outside, especially at night. Be sure to pack warm clothing options!

Our beautiful Chalet in the mountains has 4 bedrooms, 5 beds and 2 full length couches. It can sleep 12 maximum.

You’ll have a fully loaded spacious kitchen to cook or bake in, 2 full bathrooms, a living room, a dinning room and a cozy library Nook to cuddle up and read a book.

We love our furry friends so pets are welcome to join you in your stay. We will even have dog bowls set up for them.

After a long day of hiking, snowboarding, skiing or playing in the snow- you can warm up in our large hottub under a gazebo lit up with string lights.

There is so much to do around the Cabin, beautiful hikes, ski hills, tubing, lake activities in the summer, tubing in the snow and much more!
