Instructions for driving from Porto Santo Airport to Villa Mary
Leaving the airport, take the road down from the airport to the village (marked Centro).
In the village you will reach a T-junction. Turn right, drive through the town and continue for approximately 1.5 kms until you see the Hotel Pestana on the left hand side and the Porto Santo Tennis Club on the right.
Keep going a little further past some houses and the football grounds until you see the pizzeria Maramao on right side of the road and immediately afterwards take the right slip road for the Estrada do Lavrador.
At the top of the ramp bear left and continue along the street, for approximately 100 metres until you reach a cemented ramp on the right hand side. Turn up the ramp and the Villa Mary gate is right in front of you.

Good location with two restuarants, a small supermarket and bus stop nearby. Met at airport by manager who arranged taxi transfer for us. Good car parking if you have a hire car. Convenient local bike hire. However, it is further to the beach than advertised, (probably because the direct route is blocked by a fence around a building site), so you need to walk further down the road to the beach path. The bikes are not well maintained and need attention to the brakes and saddle adjustors. The good points far outweigh any drawbacks and we would go again."

The Villa offers several sun loungers, hammocks, chairs, etc. to relax and enjoy the best of your holiday.

All children are welcome. The house is ready to receive them and we have a baby crib and a baby chair available (upon prior consultation).

The property has three levels: the first level is composed of the main entrance at road level with a bedroom and a bathroom; the second level (below level 1) has three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a laundry room; and the third level (below level 2) features a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen, an outside area with a swimming pool, leisure area, gardens, and an exit to the road below.

The spacious living room features comfy sofas where you can relax, a wide-screen TV to watch all your favourite shows and a dining table. The area has oversized windows that brighten the space, making it even more inviting. It also has access to a terrace and a swimming pool to swim on sunny days.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the house. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment with huge terrace, all facing the beach and pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It also has gym, unpaid parking and wi fi internet in common areas. There is also a poolside bar and a mini market for essentials.
With a great location, about 4 km from the center of the village, the beautifully decorated and furnished apartment is bright and sunny. It is equipped with open plan kitchen, living room with huge sofa, cable TV and coffee maker. With direct exit from the living room the magnificent terrace is equipped with outdoor furniture and 2 sun loungers.
Porto Santo, the “golden island” as it is known, is the second largest island in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. It is 50 km from Madeira Island and has an area of 42.48 km.
An extensive beach of fine yellow sand, with therapeutic properties, and about 9 km crosses part of the island, situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. - "We returned so that says it all 😊" - "The apartment needs some love!. If not for the current resort employees of Vila Baleira our stay would have been less satisfactory. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, from booking taxis, to making reservations at local restaurants( some of which even providing complimentary transportation), to recommending tours of the island. The breakfast at the main resort of Vila Baleira is a must, amazing! The apartments view to the beach and pool area is wonderful! Although the apartments patio was very large, it was dirty, the table was broken thus it could not support the shade umbrella, and the screen door was broken, w/ cobwebs and dirt. As mentioned in other reviews and above the apartment needs some love. Again the staff of Vila Beleira are amazing, going above and beyond! During our stay in May we found Porto Santo to be an amazing place."
