- "We are a family of 4 (2 children aged 9 and 11) and our trip to Germany, in July, included a planned visit to Rothenburg. We had hoped to get accommodation in town itself, but I was not able to find anything on-line and so I started looking in the outlying areas. Am I ever glad that we ended up here! This house is GORGEOUS. It's on the edge of a tiny town that lies 5 minutes away (by car) from Rothenburg. The house itself is very new and has all the modern touches and décor you would want. Our apartment was a 2-bedroom apartment on the ground floor. Our living room had a nice patio with patio furniture (additional patio furniture and loungers were available in the adjacent barn - and easy to move over, if you wanted to). The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful and prompt in all communication. Upon arrival we were greeted and saw that we had a personalized sign with our family name on it, outside the entrance door to our apartment. Inside, a welcome note with a jar of local honey was there to greet us. For the kids, the offer manual go-karts, ping-pong tables, bicycles and foose-ball tables in an adjacent barn (same place where the extra patio furniture is kept). Here, you will also find a well stocked cupboard with bottles of beer and wine, that are charged based on consumption, on an honour-system. Back in the main building, there is a common-room with seating, magazines and coffee-makers for all house guests to come and enjoy. It was just amazing. These hosts have put a great deal of effort and thought into putting this place together and their focus on service and amenities make this an easy 5-star review. It is our sincere hope that we get to come back here soon and next time, we will stay more than 2 nights. Many thanks for a great stay!"

Our host Jennifer was waiting on us and gave us the key and showed us to the apartment. This apartment looks exactly like the website photos. I loved the exposed beams. They did a fantastic job with the remodel. The beds were very comfortable. My only problem was the steepness of the stairs. The room was great and they had soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. Jennifer served a wonderful breakfast of a cheese and meat plate, fresh fruit, croissants, yogurt. Definitely want to return here.and scrambled eggs. The city itself is magical.. Go to the Crime and punishment museum, hit up a couple of Christmas shops, and walk the wall. Don’t forget the Night Watchman’s tour at 8pm"

Approximately 300 m away, the hiking and biking trails around Rothenburg and the surrounding area pass by, the Großer and Kleiner Lindleinsee nature reserve, the natural Steinbach Valley with access to the Tauber Valley is a short walk away. In just two minutes' walk you are at Plönlein - one of the most famous sights in Germany.
In a few steps you are on the original medieval city wall and can tour the whole old town on a city wall tour. Nature to the lovely Tauber Valley is also right in front of you and invites you to relax and hike.

The apartment has a garage, which can be used for your car.

On approx. 95 square meters of the most modern furnished vacation home, you can really feel comfortable. A hot tub, the ground-level rain shower, a large balcony and Franconian wines in your own cellar are available for you. You have free Wi-Fi access and satellite TV during your stay. Your parking space is right in front of the house. You have this exclusively for the length of your stay. It is located just opposite the vacation home in the fenced area. There are two bedrooms.
