Welcome to our completely renovated non-smoking holiday apartment "Traumland". We have renovated and furnished the apartment with great attention to detail. The two-room apartment has a bedroom with double bed (1.60 mx 2.00 m), living / dining room with sofa bed (1.40 mx 2.00 m), kitchen and daylight bathroom. A separate parking space is also included. Furthermore, there is free internet available via WLAN.

The Sickingenstadt Landstuhl lies on the edge of the Palatinate Forest, the largest contiguous forest area in Germany. Despite the proximity to nature, the routes to large cities are short thanks to the excellent infrastructure: Kaiserslautern is only 14 km away. The Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region can be reached in just under an hour's drive thanks to the direct motorway connection. Even Paris can be easily reached with the ICE from Kaiserslautern in just over two and a half hours. And from the airport in Saarbücken (50 km) you can also fly to international destinations.

Downtown Landstuhl is just a short drive down the hill with plenty of restaurants and a neat little city life atmosphere. Ramstein (Airbase) is approximately 10 minutes away, Kaiserslautern about 25.

- "We loved our stay at this property. Everything was as expected and very quiet and comfortable. The apartment its self was very clean and seems almost brand new. There was always hot water for your shower. Speaking of the shower, the bath tub/ shower was sparkling but beware it is very slippery, we grabbed a bath mat to put down. The bed mattresses were hard and definitely took a couple of days to get used to. The bedding itself could use an upgrade, pillows, duvets and comforters but I think that is a normal European thing. The closet systems in each of the bedrooms are very nice and has plenty of hangers for your clothes We especially enjoyed the close proximity to the local restaurants in very short walking distance. The major highways to get you to other areas was right around the corner and only a 5-10 minute drive to the Ramstein Air Base. An Aldi's is around the corner for any needs. You should wander around the town past the main street to discover cute little shops. We were met with our host who gave us the keys, two sets with two keys, one for the actual building and one to the apartment so you have that extra security. We would stay here agin! Thank you!"

The space
We bought this building two years ago and are renovating little by little. Financially, it will take time for us. However, we appreciate its history and endurance and want to share this space with others. This building is located on the main street since 1885. Originally a one story building, it served as a market and barber shop. In the 70s, additional levels to the building were made and here we are today.

The apartment offered for booking is on the top level and has been renovated with new flooring, paint, and brand-new kitchen and appliances. Unfortunately, the bathroom had to wait on upgrade, but it's functional. We hope to have it upgraded next year.

The space is quite nice for 1-2 persons and has a separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The kitchen has brand new appliances and is stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies, a dishwasher, and washing machine.

We will meet you in person to show you around and give you information about the area. We definitely want to make your stay comfortable and affordable.

The space is quite nice for 1-2 persons even though its quite large. The layout is unique and doesnt offer privacy with separate bedrooms. This is why we advise the place for a single person or couples. Aside from the bedroom, the apartment boasts a large open plan living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies and dishwasher. During the cold season, the fireplace can be used, but rest assured, there is heating throughout the whole apartment. There is a separate laundry room equipped with washer and dryer. Last, but not least, a balcony/patio is attached to the back of the apartment.

We definitely want to make your stay comfortable and affordable.

We will meet and greet you in person and hand over keys. Please note the apartments are upstairs. There is no lift.

Other things to note
Parking is available on the street and the surrounding area. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a vehicle so we can advise you on the best places to park.

For Americans, we are near all bases in the area.

For travel, the train is a straight shot to Kaiserslautern or Saarbrucken. Easy travel to Heidelberg, Trier, Frankfurt, or Cologne. Even France and Luxembourg are all within a short drive. Great day trips possible from our location.
