- "4 adults stayed here for 3 nights before our Alaska Dream Cruise. The accommodation was great and the decks for viewing. We also loved the fire pit. Getting into town is 3.4 miles. Bus system only runs Mon-Fri. We were lucky that our cruise onshore support gave us a couple of lifts and a local neighbour. Well, Raven's Roost was even better than we expected! Katy was so kind in keeping us updated of our check in time and made check in super easy! The highlights of the home are the gorgeous views with sliding glass door you can open and listen to the ocean, even when it's raining (and be prepared, it can rain A LOT in Sitka). We had eagles roosting in the trees beside the balcony and loved hearing them "talking" to each other! We did see a couple of sea lion heads out in the water but with all the rain, we weren't able to stay out on the balcony to look for whales. But having left Texas with 110 degree weather, having to look through the sliding glass doors at rain and 54 degrees was heaven! We loved having a washer and dryer; loved that there were 2 separate bedroom and bathroom areas. Be aware that the secondary bedroom upstairs is a loft with steep stairs (we were aware before hand and it was not a problem!). The kitchen was extremely well stocked - even with items like flour, sugar, coffee, oatmeal, spices. And the refrigerator had a great assortment of condiments. We cooked almost all meals (3 meals a day for 3 days) and it was fabulous. There is a propane grill on the balcony. There isn't a dishwasher but that wasn't a problem either. Actually I can't even think of a problem the entire time we were there!"

The Hemlock House is a newly remodeled home with beautiful views overlooking Swan Lake with the pristine Sister's Mountains in the background. The Hemlock House is centrally located in town with restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, activities and more located within walking distance. The location is so ideal that many will find it easy to get around without renting a car. The single story home has two bedrooms both with queen size beds. The spacious living room also has a trundle couch, allowing for two twins or one queen size sleeping setup. There are two large bathrooms as well as a washer and dryer in the hallway. The kitchen is fully stocked and the outdoor patio has a BBQ a seating area for six.

Studio is in the downstairs of a large 7,000 sq. ft. home that sits on a private 2.5 acre lot with spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and mountains. Located in a beautiful setting, you will enjoy overlooking Sitka Sound, outlying islands and passageways. Eagles are abundant during summer months and on occasion you may spot deer roaming in our yard, or get to see whales out front.
Studio is a spacious, 1,275 sq. ft. space with a private entry. You will find a large, open floor plan with a well-equipped kitchen, full bathroom (we have a shower-no bath) and sleeping area.
For those who enjoy the outdoors we have a nice outdoor space for you to enjoy. This includes table & chairs if you want to sit out. * There is a queen, double, & sofa sleeper for beds. I’d say 3 sleep comfortably if two are doubling up on the queen bed. There is a daily fee of $25.00 for each additional guest over 2. We provide most all the comforts of home inside this cozy space. *Cleaning fee of $200.00 will be charged IF rental is left a mess.
**Please note: Since this studio is a downstairs rental you will hear noise from above as it is our living space, mostly during the day. We have dogs so you will hear them move about or occasional barking alerting us that someone is coming or going.
Although we love kids our rental is not suited for small children, older children who can follow inside rules as far as noise, breakables and such are welcome but this is not a child proof rental.
We have TV but it is not cable, we use internet TV You Tube TV which has plenty of channels to enjoy. If you have a Netflix password you can use that here as well.

The newly constructed apartment is located a few steps from Cascade Creek with up-to-date appliances, large gathering area and fully furnished. The large kitchen with balcony provide our guests with a unique ocean front view, including a breathtaking view of Mt. Edgecumbe. The second bedroom comes with a queen size bed and bunk bed along with an unattached, large bath with washer and dryer. *Please note ~ We unfortunately do not have an elevator so if doing stairs is an issue for any of your party, our property would not be a good fit.

- "my sisters visited Sitka for our fist time to celebrate birthdays. What a beautiful part of the country! Our accommodations were perfect. The view from the home is exceptional. We enjoyed sitting outdoors having coffee in a comfy living area. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. There was plenty of room for six adults. The location was perfect for shuttling to various locations. You do get plane traffic due to the proximity to the airport. We were not bothered by it. My suggestion would be a few instructions fir using the fireplaces and for the front doir. we struggled with the smart key pad. I would absolutely stay here again."

There are two comfortable seating options for visiting and relaxing. The tv viewing area has a large smart tv for downloading your streaming service, and an incredibly comfortable sectional for spreading out and watching your favorite tv show or movie with the ambiance of an electric fireplace. The sitting/game area overlooks the expansive deck and pristine front row seat to watch the fishing boats, look for whales, sea lions and eagles and just be mesmerized by the ocean.

Our Bungalow is a cozy two bedroom home with solid oak floors, in-floor heating, an open living room, a large kitchen, and a dining area. The feel of the space has a clean and classic style. You'll find everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It's the perfect Sitka getaway for a couple, family, or group of friends.

The space:
There are two cozy bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twins. We also have a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep 2 people. We have a nice outdoor area with chairs and an open pit fire. You can do laundry in your own washer and dryer. There is a nice tub in the bathroom to soak in after your Sitka adventures. High speed internet is included.

Guest access:
This is a second floor unit, with a spacious first floor entry. The first floor woodshop (with its own entrance opposite of your private entrance) is not accessible to guests. We occasionally use the shop for custom cabinet work between the hours of 9am-5:30pm. However, we're happy to stop if you find it disrupting in any way. We provide a phone number you can text in that event.

Other things to note:
Our place is in a quiet downtown neighborhood. We respect our neighbors and want to keep them happy. We ask that you keep noise down, especially after 10pm. We cannot host guests that are planning to throw loud parties. Thank you for your understanding.

Sitka Lighthouse has four levels, with the living, dining, kitchen, and full bath on the first floor, as well as a walk-around deck. On the second floor, one private bedroom with a queen bed. On the third floor, 4 twin bunk beds, and a half bath. And on the 4th floor, a room with 360degree views of Sitka, to watch wildlife, read or do a little yoga.

CONVENIENCE-
Located just five minutes from town; a water taxi is provided to and from the lighthouse for your arrival and departure dates and one time during your stay. Other trips to town or sightseeing can be arranged with a water taxi captain for a fee. A skiff is also included with your stay, for experienced boaters.

The apartment has a Scandinavian feel - simple, functional - with local art, and nautical decorative touches. Guests will have the entire guest suite to themselves, as well as access to a washer and dryer shared with one more apartment. Guests are welcome, if both parties choose, to open up the connecting doors to socialize with other guests in the home (great for shared meals or musical evenings) or to keep the connecting doors locked for an entirely private stay. One parking space is available if you choose to rent a vehicle. Guests in the home and basement apartment have shared access to our bikes and kayaks on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Biorka Guest House is charming, affordable, and private. It is a short walk to nearby downtown shopping, Sitka National Park, Tlingit totem poles, and salmon-rich Indian River, as well as to the Fine Arts Camp, harbors, and very beautiful hiking trails.

The room is excellent for couples & solo adventurers. It has a separate entrance, mountain views, private full bath, TV/DVD player plus videos, and a queen bed. There is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave & coffee machine.

The space
The guest room is on the left side of our home, down the path, into the porch, and up a flight of stairs to the second floor. The room over looks our yard and has views to the mountains. It is a clean, generous sized room, with TV/ DVD player, a free basket of DVD's, a radio, microwave, coffee maker, and a small refrigerator. It is very clean and quiet. The Edgecumbe Overlook is a spacious 1- bedroom apartment up a private drive, nestled against the Tongass National Forest with views of the entire Sitka Sound. It is about 2 miles north of downtown Sitka. The entire apartment has vaulted ceilings and an open floorplan to maximize views and natural light.

This fully-furnished apartment has a large bedroom with a queen bed and a couch with a fold-out double bed in the living room. A twin airbed is also available. There is a full kitchen with an Alaska Yellow Cedar bar and in-unit washer and dryer. There is parking for two cars.

There is easy access to the Cross trail from the Cascade Creek trailhead--about 0.25 miles away. The Cross Trail connects to several trails around Sitka.

Seamart, a grocrery store, is a short walk away up and down a steep road.

Other things to note
This is a second floor apartment with several exterior stairs. We have a very steep, gravel driveway. 2WD cars can make it easily as long as they don't stop in the middle of the hill.

We have a crib and kitchen booster seat if requested. If you want to bring very young children please contact me. We have two little ones of our own and enjoy living here but there are some challenges to living on a steep hill and having exterior stairs.

There is wifi for netflix but there is not any cable tv in the apartment.

Cozy apartment nestled on the top of a three story home in the heart of downtown Sitka. It has two bedrooms each with a queen, and two comfy leather couches (a loveseat and a full size). The kitchen is a half kitchen so there is no stove but it does come equipped with a microwave, hot plate, coffee pot, and tea kettle. Our floor is the next floor down and is not separated by a door but you have total privacy. We have two dogs and a backyard full of chickens, but no animals enter into the rental.

The space
Our home is in the heart of downtown sitka. Since it’s on the top floor, you do have to climb two flights of stairs, but the view from the living room is worth it. You have access to the entire apartment with private entry however the apartment is open to our floor. We keep a gate and a curtain up and you have total privacy, we’re also generally a pretty quiet household and if we plan on having people over we’ll let you know first.

There is a free 24 hour parking lot a few hundred yards before the house if you come with a car, the only requirement is that you move your car at least once a day. We are located in the heart of downtown so you can walk everywhere. We also provide laundry service if you need any laundry done while you are visiting.
