- "4 adults stayed here for 3 nights before our Alaska Dream Cruise. The accommodation was great and the decks for viewing. We also loved the fire pit. Getting into town is 3.4 miles. Bus system only runs Mon-Fri. We were lucky that our cruise onshore support gave us a couple of lifts and a local neighbour. Overall we highly recommend this accommodation." - "I'm always nervous when I book a VRBO - you hope it will be half as good as the photos and reviews say it is!! Well, Raven's Roost was even better than we expected! Katy was so kind in keeping us updated of our check in time and made check in super easy! The highlights of the home are the gorgeous views with sliding glass door you can open and listen to the ocean, even when it's raining (and be prepared, it can rain A LOT in Sitka). We had eagles roosting in the trees beside the balcony and loved hearing them "talking" to each other! We did see a couple of sea lion heads out in the water but with all the rain, we weren't able to stay out on the balcony to look for whales. But having left Texas with 110 degree weather, having to look through the sliding glass doors at rain and 54 degrees was heaven! We loved having a washer and dryer; loved that there were 2 separate bedroom and bathroom areas. Be aware that the secondary bedroom upstairs is a loft with steep stairs (we were aware before hand and it was not a problem!). The kitchen was extremely well stocked - even with items like flour, sugar, coffee, oatmeal, spices. And the refrigerator had a great assortment of condiments. We cooked almost all meals (3 meals a day for 3 days) and it was fabulous. There is a propane grill on the balcony. There isn't a dishwasher but that wasn't a problem either. Actually I can't even think of a problem the entire time we were there!"

The Hemlock House is a newly remodeled home with beautiful views overlooking Swan Lake with the pristine Sister's Mountains in the background. The house sits on a large lot giving visitors privacy, while still having room to enjoy all the outdoor time you want! The Hemlock House is centrally located in town with restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, activities and more located within walking distance. The location is so ideal that many will find it easy to get around without renting a car. The single story home has two bedrooms both with queen size beds. The spacious living room also has a trundle couch, allowing for two twins or one queen size sleeping setup. There are two large bathrooms as well as a washer and dryer in the hallway. The kitchen is fully stocked and the outdoor patio has a BBQ a seating area for six.

This apartment is located in the heart of downtown Sitka adjacent to St. Michael's Cathedral within walking distance of everything you need; restaurants, shopping, bars, harbors, grocery store, library, hiking trails and Sitka Fine Arts Campus. Across the street visit the Sitka Library or Harrigan Centennial Hall where you can watch the Russian Dancers perform during the summer months, visit the Sitka Historical Museum or attend a performance of the Summer Music Festival.

The apartment is located on the second level of a downtown commercial/residential building. The main floor has a coffee frozen yogurt bar, a consignment store and on the lowest level a Mexican American Restaurant and a Food Co-op. The second level is a combination of long term residential apartments and vacation rentals. The building is locked in the evening and accessed with a pass key. The building has an elevator for tenants and guests only and the elevator key is provided after check in.

The building has 2 entries and will be locked in the evenings. The apartment is located on the second level so stairs will be necessary to access the apartment when checking in. An elevator key is provided after check in. Guests have an access key to use on the main entrance on Lincoln St. when the building is locked.

The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and feel at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal, just bring the food. We provide basic spices, coffee and tea. The apartment has captivating views of the surrounding mountains, ocean and Crescent Harbor. There is a smart tv for you to add your favorite streaming app. And if you need it, wireless internet is available.

Studio is in the downstairs of a large 7,000 sq. ft. home that sits on a private 2.5 acre lot with spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and mountains. Located in a beautiful setting, you will enjoy overlooking Sitka Sound, outlying islands and passageways. Eagles are abundant during summer months and on occasion you may spot deer roaming in our yard, or get to see whales out front.
Studio is a spacious, 1,275 sq. ft. space with a private entry. You will find a large, open floor plan with a well-equipped kitchen, full bathroom (we have a shower-no bath) and sleeping area.
For those who enjoy the outdoors we have a nice outdoor space for you to enjoy. This includes table & chairs if you want to sit out. * There is a queen, double, & sofa sleeper for beds. I’d say 3 sleep comfortably if two are doubling up on the queen bed. There is a daily fee of $25.00 for each additional guest over 2. We provide most all the comforts of home inside this cozy space. *Cleaning fee of $200.00 will be charged IF rental is left a mess.
**Please note: Since this studio is a downstairs rental you will hear noise from above as it is our living space, mostly during the day. We have dogs so you will hear them move about or occasional barking alerting us that someone is coming or going.
Although we love kids our rental is not suited for small children, older children who can follow inside rules as far as noise, breakables and such are welcome but this is not a child proof rental.
We have TV but it is not cable, we use internet TV You Tube TV which has plenty of channels to enjoy. If you have a Netflix password you can use that here as well.

The newly constructed apartment is located a few steps from Cascade Creek with up-to-date appliances, large gathering area and fully furnished.
