- "The uneven floors throughout the hotel were a bit of a surprise, and they caused me to stumble a bit at first -- especially since the "typical hotel carpeting" made it impossible to see the irregularities. I'm a power wheelchair user, but do not travel with it, so mobility is always an issue for me. However, after a day or two, I was able to navigate the hallways with ease. The front desk staff were fabulous! Since my arrival was at 3:00 a.m. on a Monday morning, I believe I met staff who worked all shifts. Of particular note is Mark, who worked the overnight shift. He was friendly and very helpful. The housekeeping staff were fabulous -- friendly, thorough and efficient. If I could make 1 suggestion, it would be to have umbrellas available for guests to borrow while there. It rained for most of the days that I was there, and I didn't travel with my own umbrella. Many upscale hotels offer umbrellas for the guests to borrow. It's just a thought that I hope you will consider -- for your guests' convenience."

- "This accommodation is stunning! Easily accessible from the main road but set back enough so you wouldn’t know the road was there. The room was large, clean and very comfortable with stunning views of the mountains. There is a lovely track through the property that serves as the perfect morning walk before sitting down to a very substantial breakfast. There is also a sitting room and small library in the main lodge. Sylvain was a friendly and welcoming host with a wealth of knowledge about the best spots to visit. Hotels.com listed airport transportation but that was not an option. A taxi ride was around $65ca. We were okay with this as our flight was an early flight anyhow. The room was nice, however it was warm in June making it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was very European, hard boiled egg, meat, cheese, vegs, yogurt and fruit. All served to you while sitting in the lodge. They recommended the only place close for dinner and mentioned the pizza. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the same. I imagine the lodge operates differently during peak season. For an establishment not near dinner options, it would benefit their guests to have either an option for dinner on-site or a kitchen to bring in food for the stay. Overall, the grounds are beautiful. The room was comfortable. Staff was friendly. "

Our cabin is an ideal location for Northern Lights viewing in the Whitehorse area, there is no light pollution and a perfect view of the northern sky from the comfort of the cabin. Our property is surrounded by Yukon Wilderness, endless trails and nearby historic Lake Laberge. The cabin is newly constructed in 2016, private, clean and comfortable. Our place is well suited for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

This is a 2 room log cabin. There is one bedroom and full bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and heated floor. The main room contains a futon and dining table and kitchenette along one wall. It is conveniently heated with electric baseboards, so regardless of the outside temperature it is always as warm as you want it to be. We have large thoughtfully placed windows in the main room that allow for watching Northern Lights and the feeling of the outdoors inside. The kitchen is equipped with double induction cooktops, a microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee press, under counter refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes and flatware, and dish washing supplies. There is a bedroom with a Queen bed and in the main area there is a sofa bed which is ideal for one adult but can fit two snugly.
Wireless high speed internet is available in the cabin and outside as well.

The cabin is located about 100 meters from our residence. It faces north and offers privacy and a wonderful view of the Miner's Range and the mountains on the east side of Lake Labarge. Parking is directly next to the cabin. The large mowed field in front of the cabin can be used for ball games or the like, or for setting up your tripod to photograph the northern lights. There is a nice big campfire area with benches in front of the cabin for your use. Firewood is provided and there is a grill if you want to cook something over the fire.

We are busy around the property most of the time and can answer questions if needed.

5 minutes down the highway by car is Takhini Gas and Tum Tum's Butcher Shop, a gas station with small deli with excellent home cooking, locally grown food products, convenience store and showers. On our property are several other cabins nearby inhabited by local residents, a lovely community of fun people who care about each other. We feel pretty lucky to be able to live here and think our guests will enjoy the good vibe here as well.

We are located 25 minutes from the Whitehorse airport by car. You need your own transportation to get to and from our place. Our driveway is directly off of the North Klondike Highway and access is easy. There is no need for 4 wheel drive, we keep the driveway plowed and the parking area.

We have a large network of trails we access from our yard. We are happy to share these trails with guests but ask that you don't use motorized vehicles on them.

The fully equipped kitchen opens into the comfy living/dining room where you'll find a couch and 44” flat screen TV. We offer complimentary high-speed internet (WIFI), a desk, printer (upon request), device charging station.
There is no land line phone or cable TV but there is cell phone coverage. We ask guests not to use our wifi to stream movies or up/download large files, as internet capacity is capped.
