Our cabin is an ideal location for Northern Lights viewing in the Whitehorse area, there is no light pollution and a perfect view of the northern sky from the comfort of the cabin. Our property is surrounded by Yukon Wilderness, endless trails and nearby historic Lake Laberge. The cabin is newly constructed in 2016, private, clean and comfortable. Our place is well suited for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

This is a 2 room log cabin. There is one bedroom and full bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and heated floor. The main room contains a futon and dining table and kitchenette along one wall. It is conveniently heated with electric baseboards, so regardless of the outside temperature it is always as warm as you want it to be. We have large thoughtfully placed windows in the main room that allow for watching Northern Lights and the feeling of the outdoors inside. The kitchen is equipped with double induction cooktops, a microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee press, under counter refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes and flatware, and dish washing supplies. There is a bedroom with a Queen bed and in the main area there is a sofa bed which is ideal for one adult but can fit two snugly.
Wireless high speed internet is available in the cabin and outside as well.

The cabin is located about 100 meters from our residence. It faces north and offers privacy and a wonderful view of the Miner's Range and the mountains on the east side of Lake Labarge. Parking is directly next to the cabin. The large mowed field in front of the cabin can be used for ball games or the like, or for setting up your tripod to photograph the northern lights. There is a nice big campfire area with benches in front of the cabin for your use. Firewood is provided and there is a grill if you want to cook something over the fire.

We are busy around the property most of the time and can answer questions if needed.

This is a quiet rural area of mostly agricultural properties and people who love the Yukon wilderness.
5 minutes down the highway by car is Takhini Gas and Tum Tum's Butcher Shop, a gas station with small deli with excellent home cooking, locally grown food products, convenience store and showers. On our property are several other cabins nearby inhabited by local residents, a lovely community of fun people who care about each other. We feel pretty lucky to be able to live here and think our guests will enjoy the good vibe here as well.

We are located 25 minutes from the Whitehorse airport by car. You need your own transportation to get to and from our place. Our driveway is directly off of the North Klondike Highway and access is easy. There is no need for 4 wheel drive, we keep the driveway plowed and the parking area.

We have a large network of trails we access from our yard. We are happy to share these trails with guests but ask that you don't use motorized vehicles on them.

This property is a two level 800 square foot cabin. Equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, having a lounging area accompanied by bar style dinning space. The sleeping corridors and bathroom with full tub are found on the second floor, which requires stair access. These stairs easily navigated, as shown in the pictures. There you will find a relaxing space that facilatates all types. There is a work desk for any working visits, as well a rocking chair for enjoying a book. The TV is on a swivel wall mount allowing you to enjoy a movie from the comfort of your bed! Additional bonus is the ability to view Northern Lights from bed via large ceiling height windows.

Attached to the upstairs living space is a lovely balcony for morning coffees or enjoying sunsets and seasonal Northern Lights showings.

The entry to the Meadow Cabin is a shared driveway with our other cabin rental. The proximity should not be of concern as you will still have complete privacy as well ample space for your relaxation.
