Just finished this New Cabin in early July(2021). Location, Location, Location! Beautiful River front lot located on the "swift" water section of the Kenai River(RM25), known for the Best Sockeye fishing in the World! Many other species of fish including the King and Silver Salmon as well as Trophy Trout and Dolly Varden. Just walk out the front door less than a 100' and step onto aluminum fishing docks, or natural grassy banks, to bring in the Big ones. UPDATE: 2022 we have a 10'x12' fish processing shed available for our guests to use. It has 3 freezers, countertop with sink and 2 sealers for your fish.

Our bear cabin is located just 15 minutes outside of Soldotna Alaska on 16 acres of Alaskan forest. This cabin shares the property with one other cabin, a yurt, and our main house. This cabin has a private parking space, a covered deck, and a view that is breath taking. Access to the commons area around the property include a gazebo with fire pit, and a canoe to go out on the lake on the property only. Kitchen comes equipped with a two burner electric stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, cookware, dish soap, and dining dishes. Bathroom has towels, hand soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The bed in this cabin is a king size bed and a armoire for storage of your clothes while you are here. Living room has a large TV, DVD player, and stereo system for entertainment. The covered deck wraps halfway around the cabin and over looks the properties below. There is a patio dining table with chairs and grill located on the deck for private use. We have recently gotten Starlink internet that is shared between the two cabins.

The Kenai River is the most popular sport fishing destination in Alaska. Each year there are two runs each of king salmon, coho salmon, sockeye salmon, plus a run of pink salmon every other year. The world record king salmon, which weighed about 44 kg (97 lb), was caught in the Kenai River in 1985. The Kenai is also the home of trophy size rainbow trout and Dolly Varden. Occasionally there will be reports of catching of "Steelhead"(Sea-run Trout). In recent years, the king salmon fishery has been closed or heavily restricted due to low returns of fish. The coho salmon runs occur in early August and early October. The September run is favored by local anglers due to the larger size of the silver salmon. The sockeye salmon runs are in late-June and mid-July-August. Sockeyes are considered the premier salmon for eating, canning, and smoking.

The Space:
Steelhead can sleep up to six people with 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed and queen sofa bed in living room. The cabin has one bathroom with a large well lit tile shower and an on demand hot water heater which means you never run out of hot water. A complete kitchen has a refrigerator, gas range, microwave and cooking utensils for your use. The loft has an over stuffed chair and great view of living space as well as outdoors, great for reading a book or relaxing. Large windows and a wrap around deck opens the living space up to the outdoors giving this cabin a sense of bringing the outdoors inside. A Smart TV is available with access to free movies and news as well you can login using your Netflix or other On-demand services for viewing your favorite programs. FISHING ACCESS: although this property does not offer any private river access, there are two public access locations close by, Moose Meadows public docks is about 1/2 mile up the road as well as a boat launch about 200 yards from the property.

The Neighborhood:
This cabin is not located on the river, but there is a newly upgraded boat landing up river approximately 200 yards along with two public river accesses on Keystone Drive that are complete with walk ways and fish cleaning tables. The closest is Moose Meadows which is about a half mile away.

Tucked just five miles from the heart of Soldotna, this location feels worlds away. Surrounded by towering spruce and birch, with the sound of the Kenai River flowing nearby, it offers a rare balance of wild Alaskan beauty and quiet seclusion—yet with shops, dining, and conveniences only minutes down the road. While we presume you'll be driving to our destination there are all means of commercial transportation including a commercial airport in Kenai 25 miles away. There are several airplane operators that can bring you to more remote settings for bear watching, fishing, and site seeing.

This log cabin is situated on the bank of the world famous Kenai River; only 20 steps will get you from the front door to the private fishing dock. You can catch sockeye, king and silver salmon; even some rainbow trout. There is a fish cleaning station as well as a vacuum sealer ( bags not provided) and a large deep freezer for your catch of the day.
The property is located approximately 2 ½ miles from Fred Meyer in downtown Soldotna. All amenities are included – linens, utensils, fully furnished living room, washer/dryer. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This will sleep 6 comfortably. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and 2 twin beds. Downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. It has a living room with wood stove and a sofa bed, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Cleaning of the cabin is provided for any extended stays.
The only problem the property has is the guests must bring their own toothbrush and will not want to leave once they arrive.
We rent this cabin to visitors during the summer months but also have long term lease options available for a special rate.

Spruce Cabin @ Keystone Retreat is an adorable nicely appointed tiny house located on the world famous Kenai River. This cabin is a part of our family legacy home site and has been professionally designed and built to exclusively enjoy the amazing beauty year round along with world-renowned fishing. For larger groups, we have 4 units available on property and an additional 6 units across the street.

The Kenai River is the most popular sport fishing destination in Alaska. Each year there are two runs each of king salmon, coho salmon, sockeye salmon, plus a run of pink salmon every other year. The world record king salmon, which weighed about 44 kg (97 lb), was caught in the Kenai River in 1985. The Kenai is also the home of trophy size rainbow trout and Dolly Varden. Occasionally there will be reports of catching of "Steelhead"(Sea-run Trout). In recent years, the king salmon fishery has been closed or heavily restricted due to low returns of fish. The Coho salmon runs occur in early August and early October. The September run is favored by local anglers due to the larger size of the silver salmon. The sockeye salmon runs are in late-June and mid-July-August. Sockeyes are considered the premier salmon for eating, canning, and smoking.

Our Tranquility cabin is for the real outdoors person who wants a step above a tent with the basics of modern day living at a great price. This one room rustic log wood sided cabin is nestled on the back boarder of the property but easily accesses the shared common facilities. There are metal steps that drops 100" from the "Bluff" that overlloks our Kenai River frontage for fishing with waders and your own fishing gear. The cabin accommodates 2 comfortably with 2 twin beds (not moveable), a kitchenette with an electric replica of an old cast iron stove (stove top only no oven), microwave and full refrigerator with ice maker all the essentials setups needed to prepare a quick meal. You can relax in front of the wood burning stove or catch the news on the 32" flat screen TV at the two seat table or sit on the small deck. This wood floor cabin has a bathroom with shower, one set of bed linens and towel set per guest provided for the stay. A wall heater and wood burning stove, Direct TV and WIFI Internet in cabin. River fishing is possible, however requires waders to access the main river channel and the walk down to the river is by metal steps that drops 100 feet from the “Bluff” that overlooks the River. We are on the south side of the Kenai River off of Funny River Road, across from Bing’s Landing and a portion of the river called “the Rapids”. There are two other public access river fishing spots on our side of the Kenai River, as well as, the public access spots in Soldotna, near the Kenai Bridge (about 15 minutes from us) and you can do a search on local public fishing to see exact locations. Because of our “south side” location, we are about an hour drive to the Sterling and Russian River locations. Even though we are fairly successful fishing on our own, we are a big proponent of using guides to assure the best fishing results. The local guides know exactly where the fish are each day and our main web site (provided upon booking) lists experienced guides that you can consider to enhance your fishing experience.
All fish must be taken to a local fish processor in Soldotna but fish caught on property can be cleaned at shoreline and double bagged in your refrigerator until next trip in town to the local fish processor.

You cannot beat the Kenai Peninsula and River area for wildlife viewing as our Kenai River Soaring Eagle Lodge and Cabins is aptly named, with eagles commonly seen all along the river. Our lodge and cabins in Soldotna is less than a 2 hour drive to either the towns of Seward or Homer. We are a 3.5 hour scenic highway drive from Anchorage Airport (ANC) and less than an hour from the Kenai Airport. Day trips to towns of Homer, Seward, and Kenai will give you a chance to experience the diversity of Alaska and the Kenai Peninsula. Heading to Seward you will travel north from the Kenai river valley through flat wetlands with scrub spruce to the mountains with stands of Sitka Spruce forest and clear mountain lakes passing by Exit Glacier to Seward with all its beauty of Resurrection Bay. You may decide to head south on another day along the coastline of Cook Inlet to Kachemak Bay and Homer where you will be treated on a clear day the majestic views of the Aleutian mountain range and Mount Redoubt. These two drive trips are an adventure in themselves with panoramic views of volcanoes across the inlet and wildlife viewing opportunities of bears, moose, caribou and an array of birds.

For the fisherman at heart, the Kenai River has five species of Salmon with the Kings (Chinook) using it for their spawning grounds. Along with the Kings are the Silver Salmon (Coho), Sockeye Salmon (Red), Pink Salmon (Humpback), Chum Salmon (Dog), Dolly Varden and world class Rainbow Trout. The coastal waters off the Kenai Peninsula are home to Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish, so be sure to plan for a day on a charter either out of Seward or Homer. There was a deep freeze on the porch that we were able to use to place the fish in that we caught while out fishing. There was a heater in the main part of the cabin and in the bathroom (pleasant surprise) and we were comfortable throughout our stay. They also provided drinking water. There was plenty of wood provided to build a fire and we did so on our last evening that we stayed. Homeowners are nearby if needed. If we are back in this area again, we would be happy to come back and stay!"

This is a 20 foot diameter pacific yurt located 70 feet from the Kenai riverbank. This is the 5th unit on the property. The yurt has three bunk beds in a single room that can sleep 6. It is a dry cabin with a kitchenette and full sized dining table.

The space.
This cabin is located on the bluff above the river. It has a private front area with a front porch that showcases beautiful views. It has its own fire pit and picnic table.
On the first floor of the cabin it has a kitchenette, dining area, and living space along with one bedroom with a king bed and a full bathroom with tub. The second floor loft is set up with 4 beds; queen, full and two twins along with one full bathroom with a shower stall.

You will have access to the river front. We do have waders, boots and fishing poles for any guest to borrow from the front porch shed. We have several fire pits and plenty of fire wood available in the wood shed. We also have picnic tables that are shared by all guest.

The 'Cape Kasilof' cabin is the one of 7 private cabins at the Alaskan Sunset Cabins. We have a large, quiet and quaint property - perfect for a single or multi-family stay on the Kenai. Downstairs is a combined with kitchen and living room, connected to a queen bedroom, and a private bathroom. The loft upstairs has two twin beds, and the deck patio is perfect for sunny afternoon and watching the sunset in the evening.

The cabin is in a quiet rural community on Kalifornsky Beach Road. The most noise you will hear is the soft crashing of waves on the beach at high tide, or the occasional sound of a bald eagle stopping by on the bluff.

The world record king salmon, which weighed about 44 kg (97 lb), was caught in the Kenai River in 1985. The Kenai is also the home of trophy size rainbow trout and Dolly Varden. Occasionally there will be reports of catching of "Steelhead"(Sea-run Trout). In recent years, the king salmon fishery has been closed or heavily restricted due to low returns of fish. The coho salmon runs occur in early August and early October. The September run is favored by local anglers due to the larger size of the silver salmon. The sockeye salmon runs are in late-June and mid-July-August. Sockeyes are considered the premier salmon for eating, canning, and smoking.

The Space:
Dakota House can sleep up to four people with 1 loft queen bed (ladder access) and 1 queen sofa bed in living room. This tiny house has one bathroom with a shower and an on demand hot water heater which means you never run out of hot water. A complete kitchen has a refrigerator, gas range, microwave and cooking utensils for your use. A large deck opens the living space up to the outdoors. A Smart TV is available with access to free movies and news as well you can login using your Netflix or other On-demand services for viewing your favorite programs. FISHING ACCESS: although this property does not offer any private river access, there are two public access locations close by, Moose Meadows public docks is about 1/2 mile up the road as well as a boat launch about 200 yards from the property.

The loft sleeping area has a full size premium mattress and downstairs has a built-in Queen size "murphy" bed that closes up during the day to provide lots of space for activity on the main floor. A Smart Tv is available with access to free movies and news as well you can login using your Netflix or other On-demand services for viewing your favorite programs.

Guest Access:
There is free parking onsite as well as additional parking area across the street for guests or boat trailers. You will receive a unique code for logging into the keypad on your unit when you register. This code gives you access to the laundry, ice and fish packaging equipment located in separate building on the property.

This rustic cabin was built in 2022. It is close to town but feels like your really getting away. We see moose frequently.

The cabin is about 3 miles from the Kenai River. This is a fisherman's paradise during salmon season.

Neighborhood borders the Kenai National Wildlife refuge. Nearly 2M acres of wilderness. Wildlife is abundant in this area. Hunters could easily basecamp out of the cabin and access the wildlife refuge from one of the many trails off of Funny River Road.

The cabin does not have a water source. Water can be picked up in Soldotna. We do provide water jugs for transport.

The toilet flushes to the septic system, however you have to add water to the tank to flush.

We provide a generator for solar backup. We also provide gas and oil for the generator.

We do not provide bedding/linens or towels. Please bring your own. Think of this as a glamping experience with a warm dry cabin wth electricity and kitchen.

Honeymoon Cove Cabin is a charming one bedroom cabin sitting on a wooded hill overlooking the Kenai River. She has high ceilings, bright natural light, and a vintage 70s vibe. On the property you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains accompanied by the peace and privacy of being tucked away at the end of the road, but with all the amenities in town just a five minute drive away. NO RIVER ACCESS.

The space
The 50 yard walk from guest parking to the cabin is lined with wild roses and raspberries, which you are welcome to snack on if they’re ripe during your stay! You’ll also pass our chicken coop and likely see our friendly ladies out free ranging. Then it’s a few steps up the porch where you can sit and, on a clear day, see the mountains on the horizon.

She's equipped with everything you’ll need including a full kitchen stocked with the necessities, a comfortable living room and bedroom (with a pillow top queen mattress), and a cozy bathroom located through the bedroom.

Down the path past the cabin you'll find the fire pit ready with benches and skewers for all your hotdog and marshmallow roasting.

Sleep in a cozy king bed with a unique live edge wood headboard made from wood collected from the property. Fully furnished, newly remodeled A-frame cabin just outside of Soldotna on 3 private acres with ponds. The cabin is just 10 minutes to the hospital for travelling healthcare professionals.

Rustic finishes accent modern amenities for the true, Alaskan experience in comfort. The bedroom has a faux fireplace heater, comfortable bedding, and light blocking curtains. The newly finished kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, spices, coffee maker, crockpot and more. The living area contains comfortable seating and a smart TV.

There is a full size freezer available. Privacy abounds, yet with easy highway access and a convenience store at the entry to the driveway. Internet is provided using an AT&T mifi in the cabin that runs just like a cell phone hotspot.

Note that due to steep stairs, this home may not be suitable for children under 2 or anyone with a mobility issues. Also PLEASE NOTE: ceiling height in kitchen is approximately 6'5, which may be too short for some individuals. My 6'1 husband is not bothered by it.

Bear Cabin is one of three cabins at River Rock Lodge on the bank of the Kenai River. Fully equipped kitchen and grill provided. Close to all the amenities found in town. Don't miss the chance to stay in this one of a kind cabin with direct access to the mighty Kenai River. Located on the slough between Dots Landing and Bings landing makes this middle river location perfect for fishing any of the fish species the Kenai has to offer. Accessible via boat or vehicle.

The cabin is a small A frame, with a full kitchen, including running hot water, a loft with a king sized bed, and a pull out couch with a full sized bed(okay for kids, not comfortable for adults). There is also space for cots, or an air mattress on the floor down stairs. The loft is accessible via a pull down ladder, so you must be able to safely climb a ladder to use that. The cabin is heated with a wood stove.
There is also a hot shower that is located in the "Shower Shed" next to the main cabin, and there is a porta potty for bathroom use. We like to consider this the best glamping you can find. We also have a deep freeze, so you can package and freeze all your fish before you leave!

One bedroom rustic cabin located centrally between the World Famous Kenai and Kasilof Rivers on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. The cabin is cozy and is located on 15 acers of land. Moose, hares and other wildlife occasionally visit. The cabin has one bedroom with a bathroom connected to the bedroom. There is a loft with single mattresses appropriate for adults or older children. The loft is not appropriate for young children. Great base just outside Soldotna for anglers looking to fish the rivers.

Welcome to Moose Landing Cabins, 5 star rating, there are four cabins on the property. The Tufted Puffin is to the Lt of fire ring. Parking is in front of the cabin. Open concept, a set of full mattress bunk beds, kitchen table/chairs and kitchen (sink, two burner stove top, pots/pans, cooking/eating utensils). An attached full bathroom. There is a bedroom with a full bed. There is a Smart TV and DVD with movies available. Wifi is available on site but usually does not reach the cabin.

Upon entering through the front door, you'll find an open concept living area that includes a full bunk bed, a kitchen, and a dining table with chairs. Adjacent to this area is a private bedroom furnished with a full mattress and a full bathroom attached for convenience. This charming cabin spans approximately 600 square feet and features a covered front porch, perfect for outdoor gatherings. There's space for a BBQ pit, a table with an umbrella, and chairs outside.

Welcome to Moose Landing Cabins, 5 star rating, there are four cabins on the property. Take a walk down the boardwalk to the lake and watch the wildlife.
Orca has a detached full bathroom located 10 feet away from the cabin in an outside bathroom (shower, compost toilet, sink). The efficiency kitchen has two electric burners and cooking supplies. A medium refrigerator and microwave complete the kitchenette.
Due to our rural location, there is not a strong wifi connection, but it is available.

The space
Orca Pod Cabin has a spectacular view of the lake from the dining room table. There is an efficiency kitchen with electric 2 burner stove and cook ware. Microwave, medium refrigerator and coffee pot. Coffee beans and grinder in each cabin.
The second room,entrance, has a queen bed. Please note this cabin has a detached bathroom. The front door of cabin and bathroom are about 10 feet apart. The bathroom is for Orca cabin guests.
Parking is close, graveled and entrance is on a red boardwalk with 4 steps.
Enjoy the fire ring in the evenings. Walk along the boardwalk to the lake and enjoy a peaceful kayak available to guests.
