Take a break and unwind at this private oceanfront oasis. Our guest cottage is located steps from the beach on a private waterfront acrage. The perfect destination to enjoy all the North Island has to offer. Whether it be kayaking, whale watching, fishing, hiking, or an island hopping excursion let our cottage be where you catch your breath. Accessing the North Island is easy as we are 5 minutes from Port McNeill, 20 minutes from Telegraph Cove, and 30 minutes from Port Hardy.
The space
Our guest cottage has a spacious bedroom with stunning ocean and mountain views. There is a full 3 piece bath with a tub. The kitchen has a 2 burner stove, mini fridge with small freezer, convection-toaster oven, and a Keurig coffee maker. The kitchen/living space is completed with a couch and dining table.
Guest access
You will have full access to the lower portion of the property. This includes the beach, as well as a paved boat ramp you may use to launch your own canoe or kayak.

The space
Acres of private green space, a creek to one side and the ocean to another. After you have done your own exploring, enjoy watching cruise ships, ferries and other watercraft sail past your view.

Other things to note
At night, you may hear elk bugling, and during the day see eagles landing and nesting in two trees facing the ocean. You may even see black bears or cougars in the area. There's information on safe wildlife watching at the cabin.
Guests interested in caving will find locations to the north. And hikers will find the Cape Scott trail amazing and very challenging.
A short drive to Port Alice will amaze you. The view to the west rivals any you will find.
