Relax with all the comforts of home in our beautiful and cozy log cabin. The Crystal Mountain Cabin comfortably accommodates 6 guests (or up to eight with the twin beds, for a small additional fee). This lovely cabin is a great place to get away for couples, families and friends. The large open floor plan has a great room feel downstairs with one bedroom and full bathroom. The 3/4 loft has 2 queen sized beds and is separated by a large ceiling height partition. There is a small bathroom in the loft.

The living room is a great place to spend time, with the gas fireplace that is very inviting. Our modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook at home. The large bathroom downstairs has its own washer and dryer.

Girdwood is home to world class downhill and cross country skiing! It is only a short, two minute walk to the lifts of Mt. Alyeska and a quicker ski home to your cabin. Moose Meadows is directly down the street and it is your access point to the extensive nordic ski trails.

Glacier Cabin was renovated and opened in 2017. Keeping with the charm of a one room cabin we have a queen bed on the main floor along with a sitting area. The loft also has a queen bed. To access the loft you must climb a ladder so it is ideal for a family with kids or the nimble!
To add to the charm of days-gone-by the bathroom features a claw-foot bathtub and picture window with views of the forest behind the cabin,ideal soaking after a long hike or ski.
When you arrive you’ll find one of my homemade blueberry breakfast cakes on the dining table and a binder chaulk full of activities to do in the area, hikes with descriptions and distance, and all our favorite restaurants with full menus provided. Open floor plan studio in Girdwood. Small but open, vaulted ceilings give it a much larger feeling. It’s ideal for a single couples romantic weekend getaway. Will accommodate a small family of four, also compatible for two couples or any mixture of people that are close.

It’s located on a small loop road at the base of Max’s Mountain. Surrounded by the giant Hemlock trees that are local to this part of the Chugach Forrest. It is a very quiet location and provides a fantastic nights sleep. Having your own transportation is recommended, 4-wheel is necessary on a snowy winter day.

Lots of great dining in the area, or the kitchen is ready to prep a gourmet meal. Many great hikes in the area. Virgin Creek trail head is super close. Mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding are popular summer activities. Alpine and Nordic skiing, fat tire biking in the winter.

This beautiful and newly remodeled cabin is located just a five minute walk from Alyeska's Daylodge. After a day of adventure, return to your stylish and well appointed cabin. You'll enter the cabin on the first floor. Here you'll find a comfortable sitting area with a sleeper sofa, a kitchenette, a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with a large walk-in steam shower, and a laundry room. The second floor offers a second sitting area, main kitchen, dining area, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. A gas grill is located on the ground level.

Sadly, whomever owned the unit before had either not installed or ruined the shower rod, leaving it sitting in the shower. And the hairdryer. BUT ROSS TO THE RESCUE! He got things sorted and had maintenance on it ASAP. So rest assured, the shower curtain/rod was fixed! Ross also looked for an extra hairdryer but no luck. No worries though! Ross was wonderful at offering solutions, and even offered different accommodations while the issues with the shower were resolved. They were little hiccups that didn't bother me, and Ross is a wonderful host! Will definitely come back here in the future."

When you are ready to get outside you'll see signs that guide you to trails that access a shared area with our World famous Little Bear Cabin . You may experience seeing swans, muskrats, otters, trout, salmon, moose, fox, coyotes, eagles, hawks and more as you walk along the creek to our Meditation chakra deck.

If you are wanting to learn about the Alaska plants I offer a guided plant walk / Homestead and life story ... Any questions or any needs I'm around. However back at Kingfisher Cabin it is very private ☀️

Please be aware the loft in the Kingfisher cabin is not for children 10 and below , adults only in the loft. Thank you for understanding. Safety is the number one importance for me at our cabins. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to message.

The trails and bridge are open to guests only not pets . So bring a kennel to keep your fur baby in if you want to enjoy the trails .The garden is open to guests as well I’ll be out working around just ask about a viewing and I would love to show you around the homestead!

Other things to note
This is a off grid homestead there is a out door toilet, no power in cabins and no faucet to get water. All the drinkable fresh water from the well here you need is provided in a 5 gallon jug with convenient hand pump.
In the fall and winter months head lamps are recommended for better light. However there is very nice battery lights in cabin.
I do allow one dog through instant booking upon approval. If you have more please send an inquiry and let me know what you have :) There is a 20 dollar fee per dog and leash required.
Dogs are allowed at the cabin area . Common area is for guests only:)
Fires are at owners discretion. State right now has a restriction on all fires .

Ideal for adventurers, small families, and those seeking a peaceful getaway from busy life, this cozy retreat sleeps up to 3 guests (4 if 2 small children share the twin sized futon) with a comfortable queen bed in the loft and futon couch (downstairs) with topper, as well as extra bedding, and linens in downstairs closet.

**PLEASE NOTE: This is a dry cabin, meaning no running water or indoor plumbing. Hand washing stations are provided for your convenience, one located inside the cabin and another outside near the port-a-potty. The wash room / sauna is in a separate building and is a shared space with other guests. Please reserve with host**

The cabin is equipped with essential amenities, including outdoor deck seating, a small charcoal grill, handwashing/dishwashing station, air fryer, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, electric water kettle, electric stove, basic dishes, kitchenware, and a primo water dispenser. The cottage offers a perfect blend of refinement and remoteness located 25 miles west of Wasilla on a homestead that we call, Selah Rest Orchard, a U-Pick-It orchard, with apples, plums, cherries, haskaps, currants and raspberries. It is surrounded by natural forests and lakeside mountain views, just 3 miles from world-class fishing on the Little Susitna River.

Honeybees are raised on the property to pollinate our orchard fruit trees and berries. They make some of the best tasting, world-class, fireweed honey which we have available for sale. Likewise we have black & red currant jelly, haskap jelly, and raspberry jam for sale.
Over the years, when our friends have visited us, many have made the same comment, “How do you ever leave this place? It is so beautiful! I could never leave!”

There is an outhouse on the premise. Woodshed is full for your use.

In the summer, it is a great home base for seeing Alaska. But when you get back to the Yurt, you can explore Long Lake (walking distance = 1 mile) which has public access.

In the winter, Long Lake is at the heart of snowmachine country. There are also plenty of great trails for cross country skiing and winter biking. Access is directly out the front door where you will see marked, groomed trail down the center of the lake which connects to the Willow trail system. Plenty of parking for snowmachine trailers on the property. Electricity throughout the dwelling.

Lastly, the last great race, the Iditarod Dog Sled Race, starts at the Willow Community Center (Located 1 mile north).
