We are located on Gooding Lake, which has a sandy beach and float plane access. The canoe, & kayakes are available at no charge. Centrally located north of the Trunk Rd between Palmer and Wasilla, Stormy Hill Retreat is close to Hatcher Pass, Matanuska Glacier, Palmer, Wasilla and beyond.

I chose it also because it had its own washer and dryer, which allowed us to pack lighter and wash clothes part way through our trip. This little place was just perfect. Located in a private gated community on a hill overlooking a small lake. We only stayed one night so didn't make use of the kayaks and paddle boards that Rebecca had available. The place had all the amenities one could need (even a tiny oven/stove that we didn't use, but we did use the washer/dryer). The bathroom was roomy and cozy at the same time. Bedding and beds were exceptionally comfortable, with an array of different pillow types (including foam!), and the place had sturdy blackout blinds. Rebecca greeted us when we arrived to let us know she was right next door if we needed anything. Wonderful place. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area or just passing through."

Here, the Northern Lights dance unhindered across the clear winter skies. Knotty Pine also boasts 8 acres of spruce forest, which attracts frequent moose visitors. Our scribed 3800 sq. ft. log home was carefully designed to take advantage of the spectacular surrounding mountain range. Three large decks surround most of the house allowing fantastic views without having to step foot on the ground.
Privacy is key at Knotty Pine Bed and Breakfast. Our B&B is a newly constructed home, used for guests only.

The space
A dog is welcome for an additional fee of $45 per stay. Sorry, NO cats allowed. If you have allergies, let us know. We'll be sure to rid the place of dog dander prior to your arrival. We very rarely have guests that bring dog (we don’t own any ourselves) so don’t worry too much about excess fur and dander. There is a large yard, so (friendly) outdoor pets are also welcome. Sit out and enjoy the weather, have a BBQ, play in the garden!

Bed is full-size and comfy. There are two steps into the property so it's not wheelchair accessible. There's no cable service but we have Netflix and it's a smart TV so you can connect to your Hulu or Amazon accounts.

A microwave and hot plate are available for your use - if you need access to a stove or oven, we can likely arrange for you to use the one in the main house, provided we are home. Just let us know.

The cottage is close to hiking trails, the amazing Hatcher Pass recreational area, and in the heart of Alaska’s greatest town! Palmer is “Alaska at its Best!”

The South Face Room is located on the second floor at Ski Inn in the center of Girdwood town square. The room features a queen bed, plush carpet, vaulted ceiling and a shared bathroom with shower. Restaurants, grocery, coffee shops and local entertainment are just steps away. The local shuttle stop is right out front..

Nice and private. Located right between Anchorage and the Matsu Valley, this is the perfect location for someone who wants close access to town but the beauty of wild Alaska. Mirror Lake and Chugach State Park are within walking distance. There are kayaks available at the lake for rent. In the B&B we have an additional bedroom available for group travel. A salon is also on the premises and accessible to guests.

The space
I have two beautiful bedrooms with a shared bathroom available for rent to a party of four. Or one bedroom with a private bathroom for a party of two. Priced per room per night. There is also a laundry room available in this space available for use. Upon entering, there will be a small set of stairs leading up to the main area and then a longer set of stairs leading down to your private room.

Guests are asked to park in the driveway on the left side of the house where the B&B entrance is. There will be a sign at that doorway. A listing of nearby restaurants and recreational activities will be provided.

A garage apartment with plenty of space for your stay. Located on the south side of Anchorage, 12 minute drive from nearly everywhere in Anchorage and a great jumping off point for all things along Turnagain Arm.

Located on a nice flat part of Anchorage, so even in icy conditions it is easy to access.

The space is only accessible by climbing exterior stairs, as shown in the picture.

The space
The apartment is the second story of the building in the picture. It is only accessible via the outdoor stairs pictured.

Inside is a huge, open room with a full kitchen, wood-burning stove, 80" TV, shuffle board, and plenty of room to move about.

There are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. The configuration of the rooms is somewhat awkward in that in order to access the full bathroom, you must pass through the queen bedroom. There is a half bathroom accessible without disturbing the queen bedroom.

There is also a pullout couch, although in long summer days, the room does not get dark until the sky does.

Come enjoy this relaxing MIL suite in the woods outside of Wasilla Alaska. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, memory foam pillows upon request. The bathroom has a full sized tub with a grab bar for safety. The towels are plush and there are bathroom necessities in case you forgot anything. There is inlaid floor heat, a generator in case there is ever a power outage.
This place will feel just like home, don’t forget to bring your favorite dog with you.

PLEASE NO LOCALS FROM THE ANCHORAGE AREAS. This is a private townhome with a room for rent & your own bathroom to use, not en suite. It comes with 2 comfortable twin beds, tv, a chair & small desk. The home is located in a nice relatively quiet safe location with quick access to trails. Only a few miles from downtown & quick access to sightseeing in the city & mtns.

The Ski View Room is located at Ski Inn in the center of Girdwood town square. The room features a cedar queen bed, maple floor, TV, high ceilings and a private bathroom with shower. The view of Alyeska ski resort and surrounding mountains can be enjoyed from the comfortable queen bed. Relax in the open common area of The Inn, or outside amidst stunning mountain views. Restaurants, grocery, coffee shops and local entertainment are just steps away. The local shuttle stop is right out front.

The Ski View room is located on the first floor, and features one queen bed, an indoor fireplace, private bathroom and Roku TV.

If you’re feeling adventurous you can take a float trip down the river, or just enjoy a sunset by the firepit. Pilots can take advantage of the airstrip next to the property and could fly in and out

The space
We hope you enjoy your stay, while your here you’ll have your very own self contained unit. It’s cozy and has all the amenities of a typical home. You will share the grounds with other guests and my son and I. We enjoy being in the outdoors, traveling and exploring. We also enjoy recharging and laying low between time. Feel free to enjoy the grounds, we are on 10 acres and have a river that runs through the property. Ask us about floating the river it is a favorite activity of ours. there is a fire pit near the bluff that you can use and usually there is firewood stacked on the pallet near the pit that you can use. Please make sure to extinguish the fire if you decide to enjoy it. Also be mindful that the access road to the property is also an active airstrip and planes do take off and land there from time to time

Our Hillside cabin has million dollar views of mountains (including Denali), water, wildlife & city...Upper Huffman Trailhead is walking distance for hiking, mtn biking, x-c skiing, snow machining (depending on conditions); Flattop Mtn (great hike) is also in the neighborhood. Cabin is a cozy studio & hot tub is just outside your door. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, induction cooktop & sink. Our main house is on site/connected via a carport—if you need anything just ask!

The space
Amazing Hillside retreat...with sunsets, northern lights, it’s the perfect home base or place for a couple to stay/relax in a hot tub during your Alaska adventure. (& just 20 minutes from the airport) .

Wintertime stays require good snow or studded tires--AWD or 4WD is also required.

The cabin is right next to our main house and we have 2 dogs that you may see (we’ll always keep them under close watch)...if you need anything or have questions we’ll address them right away!

The cabin is heated with 2 electric heaters and a Dyson hepa fan/heater. There is a drip coffee pot along with a microwave, induction cooktop, and full-size refrigerator. We also have a gas grill outside for your use.

There is a hair dryer under the bathroom sink, blue tooth speaker in the bathroom fan, and free wifi available. The TV is on the wifi...there is Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc available for you to enjoy if you need a break from the outdoors :)

We have travel/hiking/Alaska books for you to enjoy & can supply bear spray if you like. The door to the cabin will be set with a personal access code just for you.

** During the wintertime, snow tires/studded tires along with front or 4 wheel drive are needed to make it up our hill.

Our Downtown Anchorage B&B style rooms are on the middle floor and share a spacious living and dining room. Room B has a queen and twin bed and a private bathroom. Located 4 blocks north of the Sheraton and 4 city blocks east of the Hilton. This location is great for individuals, couples and groups....rent multiple units to accommodate your specific needs. For those with cars we offer FREE PARKING. Free WiFi. Enjoy views of Cook Inlet, Fire Island, and Mt. Denali from the common areas / decks.

We are located within walking distance to the back entry of Government Peak Recreational Area, about 1 mile to the main entrance, access to hiking, biking trails in the summer and cross country skiing, in the winter. Recently under new ownership, this adorable cabin now joins our other Airbnb listing The Raven cabin, cabin B. And both cabins can be reserved together for a large group. Inside you'll find a warm, relaxing space with many thoughtful touches. The main bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, the 2nd sleeping area is in the loft upstairs. An air mattress can be provided if additional sleeping area is needed. The bathroom boasts a shower/tub combo and plenty of hot water on demand.
