This is a nice quiet private room in the house. It’s roomy with a large closet, desk, lamp, large dresser, and some other things. It has a double bed and can accommodate two people.

The space
This room is perfect for Pharmacy and medical and Students on rotations, and people visiting. Easy walk down the trail by the streams and University Lakes, as the
Neighborhood is next to the university of Alaska, ANMC, and providence. Trails start right down the street and easy walk to any of those places. There are two very friendly labs in the house that may bark when someone new comes in, but extremely friendly.

Located near Boniface and Tudor in East Anchorage, this spacious home is located less than 10 minutes away from the University campus/ Medical district. Primely located for those with activities in this area, it's within comfortable walking distance. The Alaska Club East is located close by and can be visited with a day pass. It's a quiet five bedroom house dedicated to hosting at this time. The kitchen and two bathrooms are shared amongst guests and all basics are supplied. Parking available.

RV parking or camping space on wooded lot next to tiny house and stream ... moose and rabbit neighbors ... in the Chugach mountains on the outskirts of Anchorage. Excellent hiking trails and easy access to the 2nd largest national forest in the US.

Good spot for smaller RVs or car/van camping. Larger RVs may not fit. If unsure, contact host to let him know the size of your RV.
There are no hookups.
Phones, tablet or computers can be charged via an extension cord from the tiny house.
There is an open well pipe with water seeping over the top and a hand pump that you can use if you like. Well water has iron in it.
There is also an outhouse available for use.
Access is a long curving driveway with places for a car or van to turn around, but no easy turnaround for larger RVs so RV drivers should feel comfortable backing out.

Rabbits, ermine, and moose wander through, and occasionally bear.
There are trail heads into beautiful hiking in the Chugach National Forest a short distance from the house, the best being about a 5 minute drive further up into the mountains.

Within walking distance to #13 bus stop, large gym, University / Medical District. Nice 5 bedroom home hosting guests for the summer. Hosted by locals on the east side of Anchorage. Ideal for hospital employees and students based on campus.

You may experience seeing swans, muskrats, otters, trout, salmon, moose, fox, coyotes, eagles, hawks and more as you walk along the creek to our Meditation chakra deck.

The trails and bridge are open to guests only not pets . So bring a kennel to keep your fur baby in if you want to enjoy the trails .The garden is open to guests as well I’ll be out working around just ask about a viewing and I would love to show you around the homestead!

Other things to note
This is a off grid homestead there is a out door toilet, no power in cabins and no faucet to get water. All the drinkable fresh water from the well here you need is provided in a 5 gallon jug with convenient hand pump.
In the fall and winter months head lamps are recommended for better light. However there is very nice battery lights in cabin.
I do allow one dog through instant booking upon approval. If you have more please send an inquiry and let me know what you have :) There is a 20 dollar fee per dog and leash required.
Dogs are allowed at the cabin area . Common area is for guests only:)
Fires are at owners discretion. State right now has a restriction on all fires .

Cute studio in detached outbuilding! This room has the essentials - TV (w/Netflix), WiFi, microwave, desk, dishes, bathroom amenities and more. It's small but private - it's separate from the main house so no need to worry about noise! It's in the heart of downtown Palmer, perfect for walking around town or using Palmer as your base camp for exploring Alaska. Safe, secure and family-friendly. We're here to make sure your stay in Alaska is top-notch. We're happy to help with your travel plans!

The space
A dog is welcome for an additional fee of $45 per stay. Sorry, NO cats allowed. If you have allergies, let us know. We'll be sure to rid the place of dog dander prior to your arrival. We very rarely have guests that bring dog (we don’t own any ourselves) so don’t worry too much about excess fur and dander. There is a large yard, so (friendly) outdoor pets are also welcome. Sit out and enjoy the weather, have a BBQ, play in the garden!

Bed is full-size and comfy. There are two steps into the property so it's not wheelchair accessible. There's no cable service but we have Netflix and it's a smart TV so you can connect to your Hulu or Amazon accounts.

A microwave and hot plate are available for your use - if you need access to a stove or oven, we can likely arrange for you to use the one in the main house, provided we are home. Just let us know.

The cottage is close to hiking trails, the amazing Hatcher Pass recreational area, and in the heart of Alaska’s greatest town! Palmer is “Alaska at its Best!”

In the summer months, there's a garden you're welcome to harvest fresh veggies from.

Laundry service is available for an added fee.

If you need to stick something in the freezer (such as fish from one of many local streams!), we'd be happy to accommodate you.

If you need a crib or air mattress for an additional guest, please let us know. It'll be cramped with an extra bed space, but it'll work!

There's a gas grill outside of the unit that you're welcome to use.

There's a yard around the property, in case you bring a small child or pet.

We do live in the center of the city limits so Palmer does have a noise ordinance after 10pm. It's a fairly chill community.
