Charming guesthouse approximately 650 sq ft located in Thornhill on a large 2 acre lot with a very private large yard and green space. 2 minutes away from Hwy 37 and Hwy 16. Brand new build 2017 features pine finishing, full kitchen, bathroom with stand up shower and queen bed in bedroom and another queen bed in the open loft. Dedicated modem, cable TV with 55” Smart TV. Access to our fire pit, backyard and gazebo. We have an indoor dog Diva who is very friendly.

The space
The cabin is finished completely in pine and has a charming cottage feel, with tasteful cottage decor. The property is very quiet, you will not hear traffic from the cabin. Enjoy your morning coffee under the gazebo and listen to the birds and squirrels that also call this home. The water is wonderful in Thornhill and tastes amazing! We have a separate dedicated router in the cabin ensuring fast internet speed. The loft has a steep staircase and is not recommended for children. Smoking is permitted anywhere outside of the cabin, there is an ashtray under the gazebo. Please note that during very cold weather we will ask you to keep a cold water tap running.

Fire pit (subject to local fire bans) Backyard, Gazebo on the side of the cabin, hammock. Send us a message if you would like to use the BBQ under our deck.

Private room with dedicated guest bathroom in an Immaculately kept home. The atmosphere is quiet. My home is located within easy walking distance to the Kysen Regional Hospital. There is a bus stop within half a block for the bus to downtown. Off-street parking is available. As I work a lot our paths may only cross occasionally. If you are looking for a beautiful, clean, quiet, private space to return to after a busy day at work - this room and space is ideal for you.

The space
The house is spacious, has hardwood floors and no pets, no smoking of any kind. The kitchen is well equipped for any type of cooking or baking you may choose to do.
I expect guests to do their best to maintain the tidiness of the space while they use it. There is a Keurig coffee maker in the room for those coffee in bed days. A desk and chair can be switched for the current shelf table pictured if that is helpful.

During your stay
I am available to answer questions but you will find you have a lot of privacy. I am very busy with work and often stay in my own private part of the house.

This spacious 2-bedroom guest suite has everything you need for your Terrace trip. The unit has a private entrance and parking. Our Airbnb is within driving distance to several popular hikes, lakes, coffee shops, and the local Ski hill. An ideal base to explore Terrace. Your hosts know the area well and can provide plenty of intel for your next adventure.

As we are a small family run airbnb, we have had to make the hard decision to no longer provid refunds for people who need to cancel their trip after already checking in. If in the case your employer cancels a work project, please look to them for re-embursment.
