Secondly, the lack of air conditioning in the room was unbearable. In the sweltering heat of the summer, a basic amenity like air conditioning should be a given, yet my room felt like a sauna. The windows had no screens, we were unable to open them without inviting a plague of mosquitos and other bugs that seemed to thrive in the stagnant air. Furthermore, the photos online were clearly a case of deceptive advertising. The ”honeymoon suite” looked worn-out and neglected, a stark contrast to the polished images that originally lured me to book a stay. The outdated furnishings and lack of maintenance were evident from the moment I stepped inside, including only one 5”x7” mirror in the whole place! Overall, my experience at Hotel Bajo el Ciruelo was a regrettable one and a waste of money since we did not stay for more than 1hr"
