ROOFTOP TERRACE: Another great feature of the upper floor is it's access to the large garden rooftop terrace. It is a furnished palapa living area, complete with hammock, plants, and amazing, breathtaking 360-degree views of the whole of Sayulita, endless ocean, surf and beach, and the surrounding jungle and mountains. This is hands down our favorite view in all of Sayulita. The rooftop terrace is accessed through Bedroom 2.

FIRST FLOOR: The first floor of Casa Paloma has the same incredible ocean views as the upper floor, just not quite as panoramic. It has a very large shaded patio courtyard for outside dining and relaxing and sits in the middle of the private garden. The pool is only a few feet away. In addition to the same basic layout as upstairs, it has a larger living room with 2 couches that can easily be converted to 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 is a master bedroom suite with access to the ocean view patio, a king bed or two singles, and a charming adjoining bathroom. Bedroom 4 has a king bed or two singles and large adjoining bathroom with garden views. (Upon request, we also have 2 pack-n-plays, a high chair, a baby bathtub and folding small junior bed for children.) Bedroom 5 with an adjoining full bath has one of our favorite showers. This beautiful garden bedroom can be set up with three single beds or a king bed and single couch bed and has its own private entrance.

THE CASITA: The third section of Casa Paloma is called The Casita. It is a very special space with a private entrance and stands alone under a massive higuera tree. It has the largest bedroom of the house, Bedroom 6, with a king bed and a beautiful domed ceiling, desk, flat screen TV (DVDs and streaming capabilities only), plus a bathroom, and a small kitchen. From your private veranda, once again, you can enjoy fantastic views of the surf break, ocean, and the hills and town of Sayulita.

Casitas Del Mar unit #4 is a large, beautifully styled home with a spectacular Ocean View and private pool also with an ocean view. Designed by an award winning architect this lovely Casita has everything you want and more. Marble floors throughout makes this a unique romantic getaway. Spectacular Ocean views from the living room, balcony and bedroom.

Sayulita topography is hilly. It descends down into the village and beach which is flat. To get a great view of the ocean or jungle you either have to climb a hill, or be on the ocean front which is much more expensive. My casas are up a short (50 meter) but steep driveway. If you have disabilities that make walking difficult this is probably not the right place for you. They overlook the village below and the ocean beyond. We are right in the village but above it. You can walk to the village or beach in 5 minutes. Because of the height, you have a sweeping view of the ocean and always a fresh breeze coming off the ocean. That is what makes it worth the walk up the hill.

I live in a mixed neighborhood of American and Mexican nationals. Sayulita is a festive and noisy village. There are always fiestas, music, and parades. Since Covid ended we have an influx of highly accomplished musicians from a bar close by, you will hear some of the best jazz, blues, salsa, and rock. On the weekends they crank up the music louder. If you are a light sleeper or need to block out the sound, bring ear plugs, or you can use a white noise fan aid from YouTube. If your earphones connect to the smart phone, the white noise fan should solve the problem. The great majority of guests are not bothered by the sounds of Sayulita.

My casas are constructed with organic and traditional Mexican architecture in mind. From marble and vintage tile, or clay tile floors to palapa roofs (depending which casa).

I have 5 African dry land tortoises that live outside. They roam about in their space most of the day sunning and looking for something to eat. Please don't feed them except Nopales cactus which I grow. They will eat out of your hand. They are the only breed of this type in Sayulita

We never found the need for a golf cart rental, walked everywhere. There is little market just next store which was very handy, but for our 10 day trip we ubered back to Bucerias area for larger grocery store run after we arrived. Rene is awesome. Always accessible. We did have to contact him regarding refilling the onsite water tank, but he had the issue resolved the next morning. There is construction in the area that you could hear, but we didnt find it a nuisance. We will be back to visit. 10 days did become a bit long for the kids. I would have stayed longer."

Our two bedroom - three bathroom- house is located above the town of Sayulita on Gringo Hill. This location is a 10 minute walk to the town square and beach - out of the noise and congestion of staying in town or on the beach. Our home has a panoramic view of the ocean from the upper sundeck. It has a pool and large veranda for relaxing and enjoying the cool breezes that Gringo Hill provides. Our home has a large master bedroom with a king sized bed. The master bath has a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi soaking tub. The guest bedroom has a king size bed with a set of bunk beds. This includes a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
There is a guest bathroom off the living room for convenience.
Our home has a completely furnished kitchen with very nice appliances. All dishware, cooking utensils, and accessories are of good quality. In the kitchen, you will find most items you need to cook as big or small as you like. Adjoining the kitchen and living area, there is a breakfast bar for informal meals or just to talk and visit while the cook is in the kitchen. Behind the kitchen, we have a laundry room with both washer and dryer.

Most of our guests, take their meals on the veranda where we have a nice all weather dining table and chairs. The veranda overlooks the swimming pool and gardens. On the veranda, you will find additional seating areas which are great for relaxing. There are also ample chairs for guests to relax and enjoy the views. On property, you will find other seating areas in the gardens for additional peace and privacy.
Our home is managed by Maria Jimenez. Maria is from an old and very respected Sayulita family. She has lived in the pueblo all her life. Maria will meet you at the house and orient you. Maria can also arrange for fishing trips, a cook to come to the house, or a massage on the veranda. Maria knows everyone in the pueblo and is great if you run into a problem or emergency. She can also arrange for surfing lessons, paddle board rentals, or horseback riding excursions. She can also arrange for a golf cart rental if you want to explore Sayulita.
Our home has lots of "Gringo" amenities such as air conditioning, internet, and a small safe in the master. The home is well maintained with nice gardens and palm trees for seclusion. As many of the homes on Gringo Hill have full time residents, we have found this location to be very safe yet private. If you rent a golf cart or have a car, we have a dedicated parking area on property with electricity.

- "Our family of 8 had a great stay at Villa Colina for 8 nights. The pool was gorgeous, warm and clean, and the house was kept spotless. The pool palapa was the perfect place for the family to congregate. We had 2 private chef meals which were wonderful and loved by all ages. A golf cart was fun to have but not really needed unless you have a guest with mobility issues, as it is a very quick 3-min walk down the hill to the beach/restaurants. The rooms fit perfectly for us, but note that the loft room isn’t private, it's inside the 2nd floor tower room. The only drawback to our stay was the shockingly loud music coming from town at night, heard especially by those in the tower rooms: thumping music & full marching bands going all night. Each room comes with ear plugs and a sound machine (thankfully, bc they are much needed) but they are no match to the sound. We live in NYC and are very used to a loud city/sirens/chaos at night and it doesn’t hold a candle to this! It would be the one reason we wouldn’t choose this house again- it’s such an idyllic location, so peaceful and cozy during the day, only to drive you crazy at night. We were there around spring break, so it’s possible that we just had a bad luck, but I wish I had given more weight to the other reviews mentioning the noise. Overall, still a truly wonderful trip - that’s just how nice this villa is."

Jardin de las Palmas is a fabulous three-story home designed by award winning architect, Estela Mendoza. The largest bedroom on the first floor has one king bed and a bunk bed with two twin-size mattresses, a large bath and private patio. The home has a kitchen for gourmet chefs, complete with dishwasher, filtered water and all stainless steel appliances, including a six-burner range. There are two master suites on the second floor, each with king-sized bed, private bath and private balcony. All bedrooms and living/dining/kitchen areas in the main house are air conditioned and the ten foot ceilings throughout give the home a spacious feel.

The top floor has a palapa roof and is a second living area with fabulous mountain and town views. It also has a full bath with shower, full kitchen/bar and plenty of seating for entertaining. You will also find a private and spacious tanning area on the third floor. In the heart of Sayulita, this beautiful retreat is just a short three block walk to the town square or the beach.

The home has a pressurized water system and is tied into city sewer whereas most homes have only minimal gravity water pressure and a septic tank.

Lupe, the house cleaner was fantastic and took care of all the cleaning for us and had a magic gift of never seeming to be there! The location of the house was also perfect - a ten minute walk to the beach and right on the edge of town so that we were in the middle of it all within five minutes but felt far enough away that we never felt like it was noisy. Sayulita is a great vacation for all ages and Esteban and Dora took care of helping us and advising us for restaurants and surfing lessons. Tomas was our property manager and was outstanding. Late in the evening one of my grandchildren had an ear infection and Tomas took our call and helped us get a clinic to see a doctor late at night. GEOGRAPHY:
Villas Piedra Blanca is a beautiful villa located in the north side of iconic subtropical village of Sayulita on the Mexican pacific coast.

ADDITIONAL EVENTS:
The upper gardens area is available as an event specific venue for larger parties that would include outside guests for an additional fee, naturally all the property is open for our guests at all time.

JUNGLE LIFE:
Sayulita is in the jungle, therefore exotic animals walking/flying around the property are not uncommon, remember we are in their habitat. Keep in mind that during Monsoon season, you might encounter some pretty epic thunder storms, that challenge the grid and therefore power outages might happen.

ACCESIBILITY:
The property is located on Nanzal Hill, Nanzal is a steep hill that overlooks the ocean, Villa Piedra blanca is accessed by what many would call a very steep road, gravel, dirt and cobblestones makes a true 4x4 the appropriate vehicle to drive up, additionally, the walk up does require some effort, and is hardly recomendable for elderly guests with severe mobility issues. Once on the property we have steep driveways and stairs throughout Villas Piedra Blanca.
Let this not be a deterrent as we regularly host weddings with guests from all walks of life, the view and memories are spectacular and the letters of gratitude speak for themselves.
We just want to be clear that guests with mobility issues or disabilities might find the venue challenging.

WATER:
The delivered supply of fresh water on the hill is limited by the town’s modest infrastructure, we supplement our containers by trucking ample quantities of water up the hill, please be mindful and conscious to prevent running out unexpectedly.

PROXIMITY:
By golf cart or car i takes you approximately 3 minutes to get to the nearest beach and a few minutes to find yourself in the heart of town. By foot it’s a 600 meter walk down the hill to the beach.

- "This place was perfect for our work retreat! it was very spacious and even had a perfect space outdoors for our workshops. Also lots of spaces so the whole group want forced to be with each other all the time. Amazing kitchen and equipped with everything that is needed. Martin the house manager was always responsive and gave me solutions when we needed them. Also the 3 pools are great an have amazing view. The only small downside is how steep it is to get to the house, from main entrance to the actual door of the house it gets very difficult to get there with bags. And to go to town I would recommend taxis rather that walking down (not recommended for people with mobility issues). One of our group decided to do it and had a hard time getting back in the sun and how steep it is. If you like you can rent a golf car but I would recommend on how steep it gets. Communication in general was ok, we only had a couple of miscommunications but nothing that was not able to be resolved in a timey manner. Great views of Sayulita and the sunset."

This barefoot surf town is one of Mexico’s famous Pueblos Mágicos, a collection of towns recognized for their natural beauty, preserved cultural heritage, cuisine, and more. Though more established than a decade ago, Sayulita still offers an authentic slice of Mexican life with a colorful town square, indie boutiques, seafood-hawking food stalls, and quiet beaches. The space
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for a private room and bathroom inside of a house with two other private rooms which will be rented out separately. Your private room has a private bathroom however some areas are shared.

TERRACE and POOL (shared space):
The terrace is equipped with lounge chairs, lounge chairs, and a BBQ. The plunge pools is perfect for quick cool downs and has shade mesh. The larger pool is accessible down the stairs and is equipped with lounge chairs and umbrellas. This second pool pace is shared with another property and has amazing views of the Pacific ocean!

LIVING ROOM and KITCHEN (private space):
Going up the stairs, either through the garden or by the pool side, you go to the second level of the house where there is a small rustic-style cabin apartment, living room, dining room, kitchen and a large terrace with a garden and a small swimming pool. Upon entering you find the living room and the kitchen, all the details are very rustic. The room is very spacious with rustic armchairs, ceiling fan, AirCon, bookcase, and TV. The kitchen has a large dining room, cabinet for dishes, wide bar with benches and is equipped with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and kitchen utensils. Note: Both the living room, the kitchen and each of the bedrooms have access to the terrace.

BEDROOM and BATHROOM (private space):
Consist of a Queen size bed, nightstand with lamp, armchair, wooden wardrobe, ceiling fan, and AirCon. Through the bedroom and there is a bathroom with a tiled tub-type shower, a separate sink, the bathroom has 3 entrances, one that leads to the terrace, with the main bedroom and with the other bedroom on this level.
