- "Our family of 8 had a great stay at Villa Colina for 8 nights. The pool was gorgeous, warm and clean, and the house was kept spotless. The pool palapa was the perfect place for the family to congregate. We had 2 private chef meals which were wonderful and loved by all ages. A golf cart was fun to have but not really needed unless you have a guest with mobility issues, as it is a very quick 3-min walk down the hill to the beach/restaurants. The rooms fit perfectly for us, but note that the loft room isn’t private, it's inside the 2nd floor tower room. The only drawback to our stay was the shockingly loud music coming from town at night, heard especially by those in the tower rooms: thumping music & full marching bands going all night. Each room comes with ear plugs and a sound machine (thankfully, bc they are much needed) but they are no match to the sound. We live in NYC and are very used to a loud city/sirens/chaos at night and it doesn’t hold a candle to this! It would be the one reason we wouldn’t choose this house again- it’s such an idyllic location, so peaceful and cozy during the day, only to drive you crazy at night. We were there around spring break, so it’s possible that we just had a bad luck, but I wish I had given more weight to the other reviews mentioning the noise. Overall, still a truly wonderful trip - that’s just how nice this villa is."

Villas Piedra Blanca is a beautiful villa located in the north side of iconic subtropical village of Sayulita on the Mexican pacific coast.

ADDITIONAL EVENTS:
The upper gardens area is available as an event specific venue for larger parties that would include outside guests for an additional fee, naturally all the property is open for our guests at all time.

JUNGLE LIFE:
Sayulita is in the jungle, therefore exotic animals walking/flying around the property are not uncommon, remember we are in their habitat. Keep in mind that during Monsoon season, you might encounter some pretty epic thunder storms, that challenge the grid and therefore power outages might happen.

ACCESIBILITY:
The property is located on Nanzal Hill, Nanzal is a steep hill that overlooks the ocean, Villa Piedra blanca is accessed by what many would call a very steep road, gravel, dirt and cobblestones makes a true 4x4 the appropriate vehicle to drive up, additionally, the walk up does require some effort, and is hardly recomendable for elderly guests with severe mobility issues. Once on the property we have steep driveways and stairs throughout Villas Piedra Blanca.
Let this not be a deterrent as we regularly host weddings with guests from all walks of life, the view and memories are spectacular and the letters of gratitude speak for themselves.
We just want to be clear that guests with mobility issues or disabilities might find the venue challenging.

WATER:
The delivered supply of fresh water on the hill is limited by the town’s modest infrastructure, we supplement our containers by trucking ample quantities of water up the hill, please be mindful and conscious to prevent running out unexpectedly.

PROXIMITY:
By golf cart or car i takes you approximately 3 minutes to get to the nearest beach and a few minutes to find yourself in the heart of town. By foot it’s a 600 meter walk down the hill to the beach.

- "This place was perfect for our work retreat! it was very spacious and even had a perfect space outdoors for our workshops. Also lots of spaces so the whole group want forced to be with each other all the time. Amazing kitchen and equipped with everything that is needed. Martin the house manager was always responsive and gave me solutions when we needed them. Also the 3 pools are great an have amazing view. The only small downside is how steep it is to get to the house, from main entrance to the actual door of the house it gets very difficult to get there with bags. And to go to town I would recommend taxis rather that walking down (not recommended for people with mobility issues). One of our group decided to do it and had a hard time getting back in the sun and how steep it is. If you like you can rent a golf car but I would recommend on how steep it gets. Communication in general was ok, we only had a couple of miscommunications but nothing that was not able to be resolved in a timey manner. Great views of Sayulita and the sunset."

The beautiful "North Beach" is located 3 blocks below the villa (5 min walk or one minute by golf cart) and is far less busy than the downtown central beach in Sayulita.

Casa Villa del Sol is on the coveted north end of Sayulita on a quiet and safe hilltop location. It is within 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and 15 minutes to the town plaza.

Access to the Villa is via Calle Sabalo. Calle Sabalo is a very steep cobblestone road and can be a challenge even for those that are in great shape. We highly recommend either renting a car from PVR airport or renting a golf cart in town. Golf carts are fun and the primary form of transportation in Sayulita. They are readily available to rent. We recommend golf carts equipped with a 48V drive train (vs 36V) for extra torque to get up the hill.

Villa I is located on the upper level. Villa II is located on the middle level. The Studio Casita is on the ground or pool level. Each master bedroom has a king size bed and a large ensuite full bathroom. The guest bedrooms and Casita has a queen size bed and a large ensuite full bathroom. There is also a half bath off the great room and the pool area for a total of 5 full baths and 3 half baths.
