- "Our family of 8 had a great stay at Villa Colina for 8 nights. The pool was gorgeous, warm and clean, and the house was kept spotless. The pool palapa was the perfect place for the family to congregate. We had 2 private chef meals which were wonderful and loved by all ages. A golf cart was fun to have but not really needed unless you have a guest with mobility issues, as it is a very quick 3-min walk down the hill to the beach/restaurants. The rooms fit perfectly for us, but note that the loft room isn’t private, it's inside the 2nd floor tower room. The only drawback to our stay was the shockingly loud music coming from town at night, heard especially by those in the tower rooms: thumping music & full marching bands going all night. Each room comes with ear plugs and a sound machine (thankfully, bc they are much needed) but they are no match to the sound. We live in NYC and are very used to a loud city/sirens/chaos at night and it doesn’t hold a candle to this! It would be the one reason we wouldn’t choose this house again- it’s such an idyllic location, so peaceful and cozy during the day, only to drive you crazy at night. We were there around spring break, so it’s possible that we just had a bad luck, but I wish I had given more weight to the other reviews mentioning the noise. Overall, still a truly wonderful trip - that’s just how nice this villa is."

JUNGLE LIFE:
Sayulita is in the jungle, therefore exotic animals walking/flying around the property are not uncommon, remember we are in their habitat. Keep in mind that during Monsoon season, you might encounter some pretty epic thunder storms, that challenge the grid and therefore power outages might happen.

ACCESIBILITY:
The property is located on Nanzal Hill, Nanzal is a steep hill that overlooks the ocean, Villa Piedra blanca is accessed by what many would call a very steep road, gravel, dirt and cobblestones makes a true 4x4 the appropriate vehicle to drive up, additionally, the walk up does require some effort, and is hardly recomendable for elderly guests with severe mobility issues. Once on the property we have steep driveways and stairs throughout Villas Piedra Blanca.
Let this not be a deterrent as we regularly host weddings with guests from all walks of life, the view and memories are spectacular and the letters of gratitude speak for themselves.
We just want to be clear that guests with mobility issues or disabilities might find the venue challenging.

WATER:
The delivered supply of fresh water on the hill is limited by the town’s modest infrastructure, we supplement our containers by trucking ample quantities of water up the hill, please be mindful and conscious to prevent running out unexpectedly.

PROXIMITY:
By golf cart or car i takes you approximately 3 minutes to get to the nearest beach and a few minutes to find yourself in the heart of town. By foot it’s a 600 meter walk down the hill to the beach.

- "This place was perfect for our work retreat! it was very spacious and even had a perfect space outdoors for our workshops. Also lots of spaces so the whole group want forced to be with each other all the time. Amazing kitchen and equipped with everything that is needed. Martin the house manager was always responsive and gave me solutions when we needed them. Also the 3 pools are great an have amazing view. The only small downside is how steep it is to get to the house, from main entrance to the actual door of the house it gets very difficult to get there with bags. And to go to town I would recommend taxis rather that walking down (not recommended for people with mobility issues). One of our group decided to do it and had a hard time getting back in the sun and how steep it is. If you like you can rent a golf car but I would recommend on how steep it gets. Communication in general was ok, we only had a couple of miscommunications but nothing that was not able to be resolved in a timey manner. Great views of Sayulita and the sunset."

Access to the Villa is via Calle Sabalo. Calle Sabalo is a very steep cobblestone road and can be a challenge even for those that are in great shape. We highly recommend either renting a car from PVR airport or renting a golf cart in town. Golf carts are fun and the primary form of transportation in Sayulita. They are readily available to rent. We recommend golf carts equipped with a 48V drive train (vs 36V) for extra torque to get up the hill.

Villa I is located on the upper level. Villa II is located on the middle level. The Studio Casita is on the ground or pool level. It is the perfect spot to sit and have coffee in the morning and sip margaritas in the evening. Casa Rumi has it's own roof top terrace with table under palapa and 2 lounging chairs.

Tucked below the Villa- Is Casa Zen, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom casa with a beautiful view of the Bay. - "We loved our stay at the villa and really enjoyed all the beautiful hang out spots on each floor of the property. The only issue we faced was with the air conditioning on the top floor. It wasn’t working on 2 of the 3 days of the trip, and it made that space almost unusable since it’s the hottest floor of the house. Since it was Sunday the second time it stopped working, the property manager couldn’t have it fixed, so members of our party had to sleep on the futon on the middle level instead of on the top floor."

A five minute walk to the beach and town provides access to all of Sayulitas best restaurants and activities (although we do recommend renting a golf cart for your stay if you are not up for the partial uphill walk home). - "The house was perfect for us. Starting with the private pool, outdoor kitchen, beautiful big dining table and stellar views of sea and neighborhoods below. We enjoyed all our breakfasts, and many of our dinners in the outdoor living space. On days when were weren't site seeing or at the beach, we were hanging out at the pool with cocktails in hand! The living room and dining rooms are lovely with views of the pool. The kitchen is very nice with plenty of counter space for 2-3 people to share in the cooking. Bedrooms were very nice.. The beds in each of the bedrooms were very comfortable ~ each with air conditioning and fans if needed. We stayed in the bedroom upstairs which had even more of a view! There are 3-1/2 baths - all of which have really nice showers. Sophia came every other day for house cleaning and our house manager, Carlos, was always available for any questions we had about restaurants, bars, beaches, sites in and around Sayulita AND when we locked ourselves out of the house! They were there in minutes. We've been home for over a week now, but I still find myself thinking about our Sayulita Home on the Hill. You'll love it!! We hope to come back for another stay."

Casa Gala, the house made famous by the book "Gringos in Paradise" written by Barry Golson, a true-life story of Barry and his wife Thia's adventures in Sayulita, the friends they made and the Dream House they decided to build in the lively, lovely village of Sayulita.

Newly remodeled Casa Gala is a beautiful 5 bedroom, 4 bath house, complete with a private pool and tropical garden within a very private and secure walled compound. Steps to the beach and ten minute walk downtown.

Sayulita, for those of you new to the area, is a surfing and fishing village tucked into the edge of the jungle, about 40 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. It was the paradise Barry and Thia picked after traveling throughout Mexico. In 2018 they decided to move home to the USA and I took over where they left off, buying the house and remodeling.

With accommodation for up to 10 guests, Casa Gala is a handsome Spanish Colonial home on the quiet north side of Sayulita, just a 10-minute walk South to the life and color of the plaza and a 10-minute walk North to the Jungle and trails.

There are several excellent restaurants and stores one block away too, where you can get food, cervezas, rent golf carts and book tours. The house is in a perfect location on the main beach road, 1 block and a 2-minute walk away from the ocean, on the tranquil side. (Sayulita’s main beach can be crowded in high season.)

The first thing you see upon entering the imposing wrought-iron gates are 2 tall "aqueduct" arches, one of which cascades water into the 30-by-15 pool. There is an enticing thatch-roofed "palapa" poolhouse with its own 1/2 bath room. Through the arch is a "secret mini-garden" behind lush foliage, with a swing chair and a fountain. There's an outdoor shower where you can rinse off your sandy feet.

On the ground floor, there are 2 gorgeously-appointed Queen-sized bedrooms with custom-carved head boards and furniture, each with a private bathroom decorated in hand-made talavera tiles as well as patio door access to the garden and pool area. There's a luxurious newly remodeled kitchen with high end appliances and a breakfast bar. A new kitchen water filter provides safe drinking water and ice.

The living/dining great room has huge sliding glass doors which can open to the garden and pool area, which glows at night from the lanterns along the hacienda wall. There is also a TV family room with a large sofa, huge DVD collection, Netflix & DirectV that can be closed off when it's cool for TV-watching and sofa-loafing, or air-conditioned when it’s warm.

Upstairs is a self-contained level, with three more bedrooms. There's a newly remodeled suite with Cali-King bed, lounge, patio doors to access the terrace and a new en-suite bathroom. There's another Queen-sized bedroom with terrace patio doors and a smaller bedroom, with a bunk bed with a Full-sized lower bed and Twin-sized upper and its own sink. These 2 bedrooms share a full bath, with the shower and toilet separate from the sink area. The long terrace overlooks the pool and garden with chaises where you can lounge, read, and watch the life of the village.

All bedrooms have new AC units and ceiling fans to keep you cool.

There are stairs to a large rooftop pavilion on the third floor with lounge and dining areas where you can take in the sea breezes. You’ll have a view of the village and surrounding mountain and jungle, and a peek through the palms at the ocean. The pavilion is enclosed by wrought-iron railings and lanterns, perfect for entertaining.

Other amenities: laundry room with a washer and dryer, bed linens, bath and beach/pool towels, beach chairs and umbrella, ironing board and iron, hairdryers, vitamix. Twice-weekly maid service which includes cleaning, doing the dishes, change of linens & towels. If you need more maid service please enquire.

As you probably know, you can stay for 2 weeks and not visit all of Sayulita’s restaurants. There’s a wealth of beach activities, including Sayulita’s own world-class surfing, plus horseback riding, nearby snorkeling, whale-watching, ATV tours, bird watching tours, hiking, mountain biking and canopy/zipline tours.

- "The staff did their jobs very well! Josue, made all our drinks, and filled us in on all the local things to do. We went fishing with a company he recommended and we caught at least 16 Mahi! He was also fun and pleasant to be around during the day. Lulis and her helper made us a great breakfast every day and cleaned the inside of the house every day. The pool and cabana were very much enjoyed by us. The golf carts we rented from the house were well worth the money, because you were not going anywhere without them. "My family and I stayed Sayulita for 3 weeks and got to call Casa Compadres our home for that time. We loved it there - the location can’t be beat. 2 blocks from the beach, within walking distance to coffee, restaurants, the best ice cream and a few bars. It was perfectly placed, just close enough to everything to do in town yet not loud.

Our Host was there to welcome us and help us with anything we needed!! He helped with transportation to places around the area and got us a golf cart for our time there and anything we had questions about. My husband worked from there during the week and used one of the bedrooms as his office. The Internet and lack of noise were perfect. My kids and I loved the pool, the perfect amount of shade and afternoon sunshine. House was equipped with all things we needed and we felt TOTALLY safe.

Enjoy this luxurious vacation villa just a 3-minute walk from the rarely crowded north-end beach and “left” surf break. This 3.5BR (.5 is a den with a double bed, A/C and walkout deck with oceanview)/4 bathroom house is an ideal design for families or couples looking to enjoy an incredible Sayulita vacation. Acclaimed architect Jose Enrique del Valle designed Casa Compadres with both “form and function, " allowing for indoor/outdoor living, sweeping views, and ingenious architectural creativity.

Upon entering the antique-designed front door, guests are greeted by a magnificent open stairwell with three large hanging chandeliers, lighting the way to the two primary bedrooms on the top floor. Both air-conditioned bedrooms open up to an expansive terrace with fantastic ocean and village views.

From this floor, guests can continue up the staircase to the rooftop patio, a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while gazing at the ocean, set up a workstation for your stay, or sit and enjoy a margarita while watching the sunset at night. You may even glimpse the dolphins jumping and breaching whales in season.

The kitchen, dining, and open-air living room make up the off-street level of Casa Compadres and are beautifully furnished with hand-selected artwork, lighting, and furnishings from throughout Mexico. In addition, a large digitally controlled refrigerator and stocked kitchen ensure guests can create fabulous meals from ingredients purchased in the local markets.

The lower level offers a tropical oasis with a gorgeous pool with a waterfall, lounge chairs, tropical plants and palm trees. With 500 sq ft, it has a large terrace with a view of the bay and jungle and gardens. The bedroom has a comfy king-size bed with pillow top mattress, 100% cotton linens, and air conditioning. Casa Colibri is situated on a quiet and charming cobblestoned street in a safe residential neighborhood. Beautiful flowers and tropical foliage abound. We are just south of town and an easy 5-minute​ walk to the central plaza and all the shops and restaurants, the main beach and surf break. We are also close to a stunning jungle trail that winds out to Playa los Muertos, a quieter, more remote swimming beach. It is truly an ideal location. Private and quiet yet close to all the action. Our property is walled and gated and offers a secure, peaceful retreat.
An easy 5-minute scenic stroll down our cobblestone street will take you to the beach and village, where there are awesome restaurants offering simple to gourmet, including American, Asian Fusion, Italian, French, and of course, delicious Mexican and seafood dishes. - "What amazing property. Perfectly located just a couple of short blocks from the center of town and the beach. The unit was equipped with all the essentials that we needed, plenty of drinking water in 5 gal containers, coffee, sugar, pots and pans and eating utensils. The pool was perfect and kept cleaned all the time. The hots Dave and Joan are amazing people. Spent time talking with them and learning about life in Sayulita. The entrance to Casa Marea Azul is through a private gate with a spiral staircase leading you downstairs to your new home. A refreshing waterfall shower to rinse of the salt water and a surf rack with 2 boogie boards & 2 soft top surfboards or use it to store your surfboards. A beautiful garden attracts many birds with Lime, Moringa, and Palm Trees with a hammock and swing adds a sense of relaxation and tranquility to the outdoor space and is only for the exclusive use of our guests renting the downstairs unit.

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs, it comes with a full-sized refrigerator, oven toaster grill, and dining area. The living space is an open concept, with newly updated appliances and granite countertops. There is also a coffee and tea bar, with local coffee and different teas, great for creating the perfect cup in the morning to start your day. The living space offers one large sofa and a smart TV, for downtime movie night.

The 2-bedroom unit can comfortably sleep 4 people, each bedroom has been decorated to give a feel of freshness and relaxation with wall painting and bamboo decoration. They come with a queen-sized bed with bamboo styled lighting, power outlets and USB charger points. Air conditioning and ceiling fan, bathroom ensuites and closet. Both showers have beautiful pebble designs and tiled walls that add a nice, Zen atmosphere. Both bedrooms have French doors that open to the garden and private patio outside.

Once you arrive to Casa Marea Azul, you will be able to enter with the code you have received. The keys are in the front door lock, and upon entering you can go down the spiral stairs to your new home. Check-out time is 11AM or contact Matt in advance if you need a later checkout or assistance with airport transport.

Please note there is a weekly cleaning fee of 40$ and extra cleaning can be organized if needed for the same fee. The road to the main plaza is now paved, and although it is an easy walk, those with mobility issues may want to rent a golf cart during their stay.

Casa Vista in Sayulita is a 3-bed, 2-bath home with heated saline pool, ocean & jungle views. This home is perfect for a family vacation with kids, or a friends getaway! A short walk to the Plaza provides access to all of Sayulitas best restaurants and activities. Casa Vista is the perfect oasis of tranquility and peace after a day of mixing with the locals and turistas.

After going down a short, steep road guests will find Casa Vista, the only house at the bottom of the dead-end street. Guests will enter the home to a private courtyard with view of the pool. On the entrance level is the Casita, up one flight of stairs is the main floor with two bedrooms and one bathroom, and down one flight of stairs from the entrance leads to the pool.

On the main floor, the fully-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and polished concrete counters. The kitchen sink has filtered water that is safe for drinking and cooking. There are both indoor and outdoor dining tables. Ceiling fans in the living and dining area provide great airflow and lighting. In addition, there is A/C throughout the home should you need it. The main floor bath is spacious with a large polished concrete soaking bathtub and shower. The cozy living room has an ocean view, comfortable seating, and a large flat screen TV with Apple TV and Netflix.

The main floor features an ocean-view primary bedroom (queen bed) with plenty of built-in closet storage, and a small attached room with single bed that is perfect for a child. The second main floor bedroom (queen bed) also has a desk space, and plenty of closets.

Downstairs from the main floor is the “Casita.” The spacious, air conditioned suite overlooks the pool, has a king size bed and desk/workspace with Wi-Fi. The ensuite bath is large, with a walk in shower and unique stone walls. Outside of the Casita is a palapa-covered sitting area with views of the pool, ocean, and jungle.

The chemical-free, saline pool has room for the whole family and will be your favorite place to hang out! There is poolside seating and umbrella so you can sip cocktails overlooking the lush, jungle hillsides and enjoy a peek of the ocean. This beautiful property is completely enclosed & private from neighbors and the street.

In addition to Casa Vista, we own Casa Tres Vistas, located right next door. This home has 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, pool, ocean views, and great indoor/outdoor living. The homes can be rented separately, or together for larger groups.

Both have their own privacy and yet can be adjoined by a door inside and a door on the large veranda. Casa Hafiz & Casa Lorca make up the entire 1st floor of Villa Poema de Amor.

Sayulita has become mucho popular for its romantic bay views, rustic-chic surfing vibe and its unique Bohemian lifestyle! As a bi-product, there are many new buildings going up across the whole town. (We have a semi-active site next to us. Our Villa is still quieter than most places in town. )

The same gorgeous peaceful views from our salt water infinity pool and deck await you as well as the calm lull of the ocean waves at night.

Town and the beaches are a 15 minute walk on the back dirt and cobblestone roads. We suggest bringing a flashlight when you walk at night. We also suggest renting a golf cart which our guest services team will gladly help you arrange and have delivered to the Villa. Most of our guests find this to be one of the most fun parts of their stay! We can accommodate 4 golf carts in our gated parking area and have charging outlets.
Taxi's are also available for about $5-$7 each way to and from town.

They clean with no extra cost every 2 days and ashley was so nice to let us check out late since I was in a work conference I couldn't leave earlier... - "I can’t say enough about this beautiful home! The love that went into the interior design was absolutely beautiful and you could tell there was a lot of thought and love put into it. The staircase, and the view were my absolute favorites, but the beds were comfortable, and the lighting was amazing, the security was on point and very safe and the host was gracious, kind and had the best energy ever! Our trip to Sayulita couldn’t have been any better and I honestly do feel like it was largely due to this house. It was very easy to get to everything including the beach and town. It only takes about seven minutes to walk to the town at about 10 to 12 minutes to walk to the beach. It is on a kind of steep hill so we did rent a golf cart to make it up the hill easily after long days of surfing and relaxing but that was also very easy to acquire in town so I would definitely suggest that. The house had a very convenient charging station for the golf cart and it really wasn’t that expensive either. If you’re on the fence, don’t second-guess it and just go for it. You won’t be disappointed! This place is awesome!"

New to luxury vacation market, completed in November of 2018. Casa Naga is a fully staffed, luxury residence with expansive views of the pacific ocean situated on a lush hillside in what could be one of the last pieces of unspoiled jungle in Mexico.

THE PROPERTY AND LOCATION
Casa Naga is Located 40 minutes north of Puerta Vallarta airport on a private residential dead end cobbled road in a very quiet area. It is a 5-minute drive (or 20-minute walk through the jungle) to the colorful bustling town of Sayulita and a 20 minutes drive to Punta Mita, where you will find The Four Seasons, Saint Regis and Enclote with dozens of beautiful restaurants on the beach. Take a 15 minute walk though a beautiful jungle trail to the deserted beach of Patzqauritos.

AMENITIES
Casa Naga is a 5-suite private ocean view villa, accommodating up to 10 guests. All bedrooms have large ocean and tropical jungle views and ensuite bathrooms. Bedrooms feature crisp Italian luxury linens, luxurious organic cotton towels and robes, shower and hair products, hair dryer, air conditioning, ceiling fans, in-room safes and wireless speakers.

Heated infinity pool, indoor/outdoor living areas, open interior floor plan, dining area seats up to 12.

Kitchen is fully equipped with chef-grade appliances, state of the art water filtration system, cold room, outdoor BBQ and personal chef. After dinner sit fireside on the roof lounge under the stars, or on a chilly morning with a coffee and watch the jungle come alive.

The villa is fully staffed. Our amazing house manager is fluent in Spanish, English and Italian. We also have a personal chef, waiters and maid service.
Master Suite One is situated on the ground floor. The King sized bed faces the ocean view and private terrace with lounge chairs. The ensuite master bathroom features a rain shower and beautiful marble vanity. Just off of the master bath, you can step outside to a private walled in garden with ocean view and an oversized marble soaking tub.

Master Suite Two is situated on the second floor. The king sized bed overlooks the ocean. Private terrace with lounge chairs, daybed and outdoor oversized marble soaking tub make this the perfect setting for a spa day. The ensuite master bathroom features a rain shower and beautiful marble vanity.

Master Suite Three is situated on the second floor. The king sized bed overlooks the ocean. Private terrace with lounge chairs and outdoor rain shower. The large ensuite bathroom features a rain shower, large double sink marble vanity and oversized marble soaking tub.

Guest Suite 1 + Guest Suite 2 Situated on the lower level these beautiful rooms are the almost same and have king beds with spectacular views of the ocean and the tropical jungle. The two rooms share a large terrace with lounge chairs and outdoor shower. The ensuite bathrooms are equipped with marble vanities and rain showers.

Media Room - Get loungy with some popcorn and a movie or sneak in and put your feet up with a good book. Nicely equipped with, 70” TV, Apple TV, Satellite TV, Bose Sound, BlueRay DVD player, DVD collection ( can you believe it? DVD’s! hey, its a good collection),Book collection.

Office- In the unlikely event one may have to get to work, the office will more than suffice with a spectacular (albeit distracting) view of the Mexican Pacific.

We've rented many homes all over the world and this was by far the nicest one in terms of decor, cleanliness, incredible staff who took such good care of us, views were stunning of the bay. The 5 bedroom home was perfect for our party of 10, plenty of space for all of us with different lounging areas throughout the house. The proximity to the town of Sayulita was also great, only 5 minutes by golf cart which was great. It's a really fun, lively town.
