Jorge, my taxi driver, can pick you up from Puerto Vallarta airport for stress less transfer to your Casa; plus, Jorge will stop to buy beer, on the way. $120 for the concierge service.

$91 VIP services if ordered through Felipe. Better than waiting in the taxi line. These are Suburban or van type vehicles.

Beach is clean and quiet! GREAT BEACH FOR SWIMMING AND PLAYING-NOT ROCKY! Great for boogie boarding and paddle boarding!

We usually stay in a modern condo building nearby but I found Casa Tina for this stay. The condo is two story, more like a house really. The location cannot be beat. In the center of the Zona Dorado, the best part of Bucerias to stay in my opinion. Many restaurants to walk to and the most beautiful stretch of beach in the area. The condo was very comfortable for myself, my husband, and my sister. It is very peaceful, gated, and safe. Everything worked and the kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor area is very nice for relaxing and has an extremely easy access to the beach. We could carry the large plastic lounge chairs to the beach which we did every day. The pool was a bit chilly being January and the large planters in the pool made any real swimming a bit difficult. But the pool and landscaping was pretty to look at. We loved the view from the master bedroom balcony where we had our evening glass of wine to watch the sunset. Tina, the owner, was extremely responsive and was always very prompt in answering any questions. We communicated very easily via What'sApp. The property manager, Felipe, was also very kind and always available for minor issues and for ordering taxis back to the airport. I would recommend the property as long as you are ok with an older building with lots of Mexican charm. The condo could use some updating but has everything you need for a great vacation. One thing I would recommend to Tina: each season I would invest in 2-4 Tommy Bahama low beach chairs. They would be so easy to take to the beach, much easier than the large plastic loungers. The villa has 3 bedrooms, each with a king bed and a small loft that has 2 twin beds (intended for parents who have up to 2 children sharing their room). There are ladders with 5 steps up to the loft, so best suited for children over 8 years old. For younger children a fold out twin mattress can be accommodated on the main floor of the room. The villa has one portacrib and one high chair.

- "The pool is great, especially for family with kids. They kept it clean and maintained it during our stay. Karen (the cook) does it all. She cooked great meals, cleaned and always made sure we were taken care of. She went above and beyond to make sure my birthday was great. She organized a mariachi, ordered a cake and set up a piñata. - "We stayed for 7 days with 2 teens. The listing and pics are very accurate. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had most of the things we needed. The bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of storage, linen and towels. AC in the bedrooms is key and it works well. The outside area and pool are very private. Outside there are fans which were great. Housekeeping and the gardener come by often. The grounds are beautifully maintained with iguanas around. There are most things you need within a couple block walk. The Fish Taco restaurant is the best. There is construction in the area and yard equipment that you could hear, but we didnt find it a nuisance. Lori is awesome. She took the time to meet us, show us the villa and get us settled. We will be back."

Most importantly, we created a huge media/theater room in the lower level where you will be able to enjoy a 70 inch wide-screen SMART HDTV, BLU-RAY/DVD combo and satellite channels. A DVD video library and board games for your enjoyment. Sonos sound system throughout. For those who just can’t get away from the office, we offer WIFI, a multi function fax/printer/scanner and a Vonage internet line for all of your long distant calls to the US or Canada.- for FREE!

Our staff of 6 is there to make sure your vacation is perfect in every way. - "We were looking for a place for a family vacation for our extended family (6 adults, 7 children ages 3-12) and Villa Encanto definitely fit the bill. Everything was as advertised, the villa is literally right on the beach, the pool is large (and warm), the living quarters are spacious and very comfortable. And the Casita provide privacy/separation for a family who wants it. What came as a surprise was the service which was truly extraordinary. The concierge/manager attended to our every need, like having your own dedicated Four Seasons concierge, planned (excursions, photographer, birthday pinata) and unplanned (e.g. an unexpected need for a doctor), the onsite staff provided incredible meals, a constant flow of libations and guacamole, and were attentive without being intrusive. And the setting was truly gorgeous, our favorite memories are our breakfasts, early evening cocktails, and dinners overlooking the beach. Possibly the only caveat I would give is that over a holiday week the beach did get a bit crowded in the afternoon, although the mornings we felt we had it mostly to ourselves, and the beach felt like it was mostly filled with locals so felt a bit more 'authentic' than other parts of Puerto Vallarty. Overall this was one of our best vacations ever, I cannot recommend Villa Encanto highly enough."

- "My family just returned from spending 10 days at Casa Coco and we were all delighted with the experience. This started before withTim Bertrand the property owner taking a keen interest in everything being as excellent as possible and making whatever accommodation he could to insure that. The property itself is on the beach and truly a hacienda as one would imagine it. Ample areas of privacy were present.for solo activities like massages and yoga. Leo, the property manager/concierge made all necessary arrangements for dining out, transportation and amenities like in house massage. He is pleasant to work with and made things easy. The gem of the trip was Lupita who cooked most of our meals. Her rate is more than reasonable and her cooking and caring were exceptional. Her graciousness and desire to please were across the board amazing. The location is a bit close to a bar that plays music that at times was too loud but always ended at a reasonable time. The beach itself is amazing, with a local flavor. Fisherman next door would bring in their catch every morning to the delight of the sea birds who showed up when they returned and we did grill some of the delicious fish for lunch one day. This is not a resort and one needs to be comfortable among the locals and with the culture. We found this to be quite a refreshing change from all inclusives we did in the past. All in all this was a vacation that I will remember forever as it gave me and my family true quality time together that I will relish. We plan to return next year."

Guest Access -
The heart of the house is the spacious pool lawn and BBQ area. It can be a quiet spot for a meal or a gathering place to play. From lazy morning coffees to mid day hammock siestas to evening outdoor movie nights, its always the best place to escape.

A common entry, laundry area and off-street parking are shared by a 1 bedroom Villa, a Studio and your Poolhouse. Each unit has its own digital coded door locks and SimpliSafe alarm system.

Other Things to Note -
Our town of Bucerias is small enough to walk to everything but still offers a great variety of restaurants and shops. The house is located 2 blocks up from a sandy swimming beach in the neighborhood called "Zona Dorada" (Golden Zone named for the pyrite sparkling sand) This deep bay is a safe haven for sea life including dolphin pods and migrating humpback whales you may see in the winter months. The "sweet-water" is less salty than nearby Pacific beaches because the Bay of Banderas is fed by mountain spring rivers.

Bucerias is centrally located making for easy day trips to explore the south's historical pueblitos and fun activities of Puerto Vallarta and the north's popular surf beaches and cool scenes of Sayulita & San Pancho.

As your hosts, we have experienced almost everything the bay area has to offer and love sharing this with our guests - from Jeep jungle hikes, to bike food tours and whale watching boats - we've got the connections.

But if it's just some sun, beach and chill time your looking for, we've got that too! Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and poolside lounge spots. And if duty calls, our high speed internet, quiet works spaces and printer are available.

-The Ginger Kitchen is a large, professional kitchen that our guests can use themselves or where the private chef can work her magic. There are also beautiful, fully equipped kitchens inside of 6 of the bungalows.

-Filtered drinking water is provided throughout your stay.

-Each bathroom is stocked with bath towels, pool towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, and hand soap and body lotion.

-You can connect to our Sonos surround-sound system to play your favorite playlists.

-All rooms feature smart thermostats to ensure both your comfort and sustainable AC usage.

-In our garage is a rack of extra accessories for our guests to enjoy, which include board games, beach gear, yoga mats, kitchen equipment, etc.

-Our garage fits two vehicles of average size. Street parking is safe and readily available.
Things to know
-Our houseman, Alex ("A-Rod"), is a professional bartender and experienced concierge who can help set up additional services, mix drinks, serve food, help shop, etc. He works 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.

-Also part of our House Staff are Dulce, Angy, Reyna and Daniel, who provide complementary housekeeping services and keep the grounds, pool and common areas beautiful.

-Suggested gratuity to split between our 5-person House Staff would be around $150-200 pesos per guest per night.

-Private chef services are not included in our nightly rate. Please contact us for Chef Patricia's most updated menus and rates.

-Our neighborhood has roosters and dogs who like to communicate to one another. If you are a very light sleeper, this might not be the right space for you.

-We don’t offer laundry services in-house because there are several laundromats close to the villa. They are very affordable, offer 24-hour service, and even fold your laundry.

-The rooms do not have TVs, though there is one smart TV in the Ginger Kitchen (without cable service). All of the rooms do have high-speed WiFi.

-We are meticulous about cleanliness. Given the tropical climate and the handwoven, natural thatch material in our roofs, though, it is possible some small insects make an appearance. These are harmless and our cleaning team provides immediate support.

-The pool is not fenced in and is dangerous for small children without supervision.

-Bucerías is a walkable town and we are in a central location. There is, however, a steep hill between our property and the beach.

House rules
-Since our roofs are made of thatch, smoking is strictly prohibited on our entire property except for a designated smoking area in the garage. No candles or other types of fire are permitted.

-Villa Tayrona is located in a residential area. Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask that noise be kept to a reasonable level after 10pm. Please notify us ahead of time if planning an event. We have a privacy-safe noise monitoring system that notifies us and our guests if noise limits are being exceeded.

-While events are allowed, we ask that all guests be mindful of the fact that our place is brand new and filled with fragile art.
