You could also fly Nonstop into Guadalajara which is a safe and interesting 3.5 hour tollway ride to the villa. We can arrange for a very comfortable van with driver. Safe bus service is also available.

- "It's so hard to come back to reality after an amazing week at the Palace by the Sea.  For Christmas, my husband and I took our family of three children and five grandchildren (and one on the way)  to the palace for a week. It was the best present we ever gave to our family, and the best they ever received. Presents are forgotten but memories remain.  The home is more than the pictures show, I know that's hard to believe because we dreamed over the pictures and video of the palace for months before we left. Upon arrival in Manzanillo airport, we were transferred to the Palace by a great group (HARO)  and received a very warm welcome from all the staff with the best margaritas we ever had. The Palace staff is amazing, they are the most wonderfully warm and talented people. They could anticipate every want or need and would bend over backwards to assist in any way they could. Truly amazing people and amazing food. The meals were an event themselves. The best food we had in Manzanillo was at the Palace!  The beach at La Punta was awesome, our group rented jet skiis through HARO that were brought to the beach, so convenient. Because there was so much to do and see and our group would want to go in different directions, we also had HARO assist with additional transportation (Luis was our go-to travel guide, he did an excellent job).  We want to thank the Alpers for sharing their home with us, allowing us to build great memories of a wonderful time.  "

This Casita that now sits on top of the Santiago hills community now features a 500sqft PALAPA on a 1100sqft Terrace/Deck. This area is located right next to the pool on the 2nd floor of the villa, there is no other property on this hill that features the exquisite views you will indulge in day or night while dining or sipping on your favorite drink.
All this aside from its excellent ocean views from the living room-dinning room and bedroom.
The master bathroom has an overhead shower and beautiful Cream Color Cantera Stone wash basin. The room also has two very spacious closets. The entire house has Parota Wood finishes through out its kitchen, windows, cabinets, closets etc.

Our private chef, Ofelia and our driver, Luis spoiled us every day. The food was amazing and was prepared and presented so beautifully. Luis was at our beckon call whenever we needed him. If we had to think of one area of improvement it would be wifi strength. At times it was challenging to work online with inconsistent wifi. The veiw is spetacular. Sitting on the forward patio was the morning staple and the background cooing of the doves top it off. Great pool to lounge in and enjoy our afternoon margaritas. A heated pool, who wouldn't love it. We turned it off after a couple of days just to keep it cool because the weather was fantastic and need to cool off. Leti the house keeper/ cook was incredible. Our only regret is that we did not utilize her cooking skills more. I spent one afternoon watching her cook Mole chicken, the girl can cook. Next time we will do that. The ground were imaculate and cleaned ever morning of the bloosoms that have fallen off. Nelly was very helpful and always got back to us. We had a car and toured the area , spent a day at Club Oasis, a must, drove to Colima but generally stuck around Casa Lala because it was a relax vaction and the place is a visual beauty. There was not one complaint about the menu and our choices. I wish I could take her home with me. Her cooking was better than most restaurants I’ve been too. Even though we were at the end of hurricane seaso. We had great weather. A couple of thunder storms at night, but perfect days. We enjoyed it so much we never left the property to explore any other areas outside the villa. The pool was a perfect temperature so we spent plenty of time in it gazing at the fantastic views. The Villa Ventana del Mar resides on a lush lot with over 7,000 sq ft of living space. This six-bedroom villa has three levels to enjoy- from the expansive ocean floor to the sunset deck. The ocean floor offers 4 bedrooms with 6 beds, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, and nearly floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that allow for constant views of the playa and ocean while offering easy access to the pool terrace. The living room furniture is comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen for your dining needs. A bedroom off to the side offers a view of the ocean while you doze off to sleep serenaded by the sweeping waves.

We have a full kitchen, formal dining room and all bedrooms and TV room with individual A/C. The TV and Recreation room has a game table, six chairs, large sofa and TV with Satellite Connection, DVD, and a DVD library of over 200 movies.

The house is solar powered, has a fabulous pool with a barbecue grill, and direct access to the beach! Head 5 minutes up the beach to La Boquita for amazing local dishes. Head 5 minutes down the beach to the Oasis for more formal dining and international faves. The gated community also has several other great restaurants and is only 10 minutes’ drive to Santiago and 30 minutes to Manzanillo.

Our daily maid service (except Sundays) will make life easy as pie and is included in the rental.

For very reasonable additional fees, if you want special meals cooked for you - Mari is an excellent cook. And our adventure partner, Dani, can help you organize mountain bike rides, deep sea fishing, trips to nearby beaches and more. You can just pay them directly.

Perched high upon a cliff, this magnificent beauty opens to a luxurious fountain and traverses down the hillside, through lush tropical flora, and ends at a lower palapa just above the crashing waves of Santiago Bay.

This well appointed home contains furnishings and amenities that you would expect of a luxury vacation villa.

Just beyond the entry, there is a private staff quarters with separate 1/2 bath for staff use and an elevator which accesses the three levels of the main home.

The grand master suite, 'Bird of Paradise' is completely private on the second level with expansive views surrounded by glass doors and a wrap around terrace and balcony complete with a fountain and lounge furniture.

You will enjoy magnificent sunsets from this balcony. The room is quite large and is well appointed with a king bed with a grand white leather headboard and matching ottoman, satellite TV with additional seating area, and two ceiling fans. There is a very spacious master bath with granite countertops and double sinks, large walk-in closet, separate toilet/bidet room, and a large double shower with exquisite glass views of La Audencia Beach.

The first guest suite in the main house, 'Mango Fruta', can sleep 2-4 people in two queen beds with exquisite striped fabric headboards. There is a large walk-in closet, small sitting area, ceiling fan, satellite TV, and a large furnished balcony with expansive bay views and a grand Mango tree within arm's reach! This suite has an attached private bath with granite countertop and large walk-in shower.

The second guest suite in the main home, 'Hibiscus Flor', is on the lowest level and can also sleep 2-4 guests in two queen beds. This suite contains a large walk-in closet, and satellite TV. The attached private bath is complete with granite countertops, and a large combo shower/Jacuzzi waterfall tub. The balcony is very spacious and furnished with great views of Santiago Bay and is surrounded by lush Hibiscus hedges and provides a walk way to the pool area.

There is a separate apartment suite, 'La Casita', that is adjacent to the main stairwell, but is completely private with an additional private entrance from the street level. It contains a living area, with satellite TV, and is two bedroom separated by a privacy door. The bedrooms each house a king bed, ceiling fan, and bathroom with shower.

This home contains an expansive amount of original art with striking canvases. The living and dining area have four tri-fold glass doors with unobstructed views of the pool and large palapa overlooking Santiago Bay, and can be opened completely for the open-air feel that you expect in a Mexican villa.

Air conditioning is also available in all living spaces if needed. There is an additional satellite TV in this space and the dining table seats eight with additional seating for four at the breakfast bar.

The focal point of the entire home rests beneath the large furnished palapa that can seat 12 people for outdoor dining. It is equipped with comfortable lounge furniture and tables, outdoor beverage cooler, ceiling fan, and Bose speakers for outdoor sound.

Adjacent to the palapa is a large, heated, infinity edge pool with swim up bar and four luxurious chaise loungers. The seventh bathroom is located just steps below the palapa and is very spacious and complete with a changing room and shower.

Take a stroll down the lighted stairway to find a completely private honeymoon cottage, 'Papaya Verde', that rests below the pool area. It contains an entry with lighted art niche, walk-in closet, and huge bathroom with beautiful bay views from the Jacuzzi waterfall tub. There is a separate large shower with private room for toilet and bidet. This suite comes with a king size bed, satellite TV, and mini fridge. The suite is adorned with a walk-out balcony, as well as, an additional large furnished balcony.

If you leave the cottage and continue the stroll on the lighted stairway down the hillside, you will arrive at a beautiful built in lounge rest area complete with cocktail table for sunset views.

Just below this area is the second palapa situated on the rocky cliff just above the water. Enjoy the two chaise loungers or hammock as you hear the crashing waves against the rocks and view the scurrying of many crabs and abundant ocean life. There is fishing access off the rocks from this lower palapa for the adventuresome type.

If service is what you are striving for, the home is complete with a local manager, and house staff including two maids, and a private chef. This property is flush with tropical flora and the house staff places fresh flora in the home for your stay.

Built on the point of the Peninsula facing the spectacular Manzanillo Bay and the Pacific, this villa is oriented southeast, maximizing sunny afternoons by the pool. The property is located in the exclusive gated community of La Punta on Peninsula Santiago, Manzanillo, only 35 minutes from Manzanillo International Airport (ZLO) - a 2h30min direct flight from Houston, 3h15min direct flight from Los Angeles, and a 40min flight from Mexico City.

Magnificent views of the ocean are visible from every room (3 bedrooms have private terraces) and the multiple glass-railed terraces of this modern villa. All bedrooms have new ceiling fans, flat screen smart TV’s with Apple TV, AC, en-suite fully modernized bathrooms, with walk-in closets and new custom built furniture, Sealy mattresses, and high end linens. Twin vaulted custom-stained, up-lit Boveda ceilings float above the grand room punctuated by 2 custom-made chandeliers. The stone-work terrace is enclosed with glass rails for continuous 180 degree ocean views, and is flanked on one side by olive trees. A palapa canopy (with black bamboo struts imported from Ecuador) extends partially over the length of the terrace, so guests can choose full shade or sun all day long.

The Service - House Manager, Chef, Maid Service

The Villa is professionally managed by the house manager fluent in English and Spanish, and features a full time chef and maid. Our house manager has extensive experience in the luxury hospitality industry. He will arrange transportation, coordinate food and beverage purchases, and help curate every detail of your trip. Our chef is well versed in authentic Mexican cuisine, but can create culinary experiences - from Italian to local seafood - or whatever your heart desires. Our chef is able to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions. Our staff will take care of all of the shopping for your stay. Guests are responsible for the cost of food and beverages, and will presented a bill prior to check-out. Laundry service is complimentary.

The Community of La Punta

La Punta boasts a beautiful private beach and beach club for the exclusive use of owners and their invited guests. There are 4 outdoor tennis courts and a tennis pavilion, complete with a Tennis Pro for lessons, and rental equipment. There are approximately 170 homes in the community, for which there is 24/7 onsite security and maintenance. La Punta is home to business leaders and celebrities from around the world.
