The property itself is cute with nice landscaping and exterior. Nice to have parking right at the unit. The unit has a spiral staircase that can be challenging with luggage. WiFi went in and out, seems like we were only able to have 2 devices on it and we were sharing with the neighboring unit. No a/c or heat but they did have blankets for when it got cold at night. There are gaps in the balcony door and some of roof so cold and noises from dogs barking, people outside comes in. Nice to have a shared fridge and kitchen to use along with drinking water available. Hair dryer was available when I asked. Space feels new, still having upgrades such as towel bars put in. If the WiFi was improved and rooms sealed to keep out excess cold/noise I would stay here again. "

- "The property is located right above the outcropping that separates the 2 beaches at Yelapa, and the gate is in the main path in town. Great location, and you will enjoy all night the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks 30 feet below the wrap around balcony. The stairway down to the property is in great shape and charming. It separates you from the horses, donkeys and ATV traffic. The pool, not huge, is wonderful; on the cool side late in December, which was therapeutic. It helped my sore, sun burnt, bug bitten body after 7 days of birding in the region. Great view. No house in Yelapa has a better view than this apartment. Also, importantly, the huge king bed was firm, but comfy. A previous post suggested updating. I agree, but it works as-is, and a big update will drive the price up. What I paid was very very reasonable. A couple inexpensive fixes may be sufficient, which I will share with the host. Final note, this is one of three units. This is the middle one. I met the folks staying in both. They were great. Bottom line, I would/will definitely stay here again."

- "Overall it was a nice stay. Beautiful view and in a good location. AC worked great. Would book again!" - "The room was terrible. Very small space. Balcony can squish 2 people max on it. The microwave didn’t work. The bathroom was so tiny, you had to step into the shower to be able to shut the bathroom door. The toilet space was barely larger than the toilet itself which makes wiping very difficult. The coffee maker leaked. Also, the day they provide coffee pods for the machine but we got “2” pods for 4people staying in the room and one of the pods was already used. They didn’t provide enough towels in the unit so we just used our Pool towels that they make you out a deposit down for them at check in and then you have to bring them back at check-out. Some of the check-in staff were not that friendly, however all the staff we met elsewhere on the property were nice. The Wifi did not work well. They gave us a key ring with 4 different keys on it and a tag saying what unit and room number we were. 1 key was for the dead bolt and one for the knob but we tried the other keys on other things in the room like the safe and a locked cabinet etc. We never did figure out what they were for. Also, we only had the one set of keys which was annoying for us 4 suits sharing the room. Also, the knob on the bathroom was broken so you couldn’t lock the door and some of the switches and outlets didn’t work. The grounds of the hotel are amazing. They are well kept and lush and there are pools everywhere! Plus it’s a good location (Ocean & shopping). The grounds almost make up for the terrible room."
