Of the smaller pools, there are some warm/hot and some cooler so be sure to check them for your preference! The food at the restaurants was great, and there’s an evening taco truck! The hibachi is AMAZING, best food we had and such a fun experience. The buffet always had something we enjoyed, be sure to fill up on breakfast because the pool bar food does not open until 12:00 (we are early risers). I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were the most lovely group of people and SO helpful and friendly. They truly care and want to make your experience amazing. The property is spread out/hilly, but you are able to request golf cart transportation around the property if you need it. My husband had a prior foot injury, any time the staff saw him walking they stopped and offered him a ride! We went to the beach club one day which was also a blast, the food and custom cocktails were delicious, the water was nice (they put colored flags out to indicate the water safety level) and we saw whales jumping! We went for a couple hours which was the perfect amount of time. We did not venture elsewhere, but had friends explore the area and venture to Sayalita and said it was fun and super safe. Perla 3 is located on the second floor of a terraced 3 storey building on the waterfront, away from the highway. The unit was clean and well stocked with basic kitchen supplies, and the beds were comfortable. The owner and property manager were very responsive, and remedied a couple of minor maintenance issues promptly. The main casa offers 4 bedrooms, large gourmet kitchen and dining area, living room, and family (tv/cable) play area. La Playa Estates amenities, which includes beach club, tennis court & pickleball court, and gym. The backyard has private pool, covered outside dining/lounging palapa area, sand court for cornhole, ping pong etc. There is a detached casita that is private and contains a small kitchen. The master bedroom features sweeping views, palapa covered private terrace and both an indoor and outdoor shower. The main floor features living room, kitchen and dining room, main ocean viewing palapa covered terrace and a main bedroom. Lower level has two bedrooms (queen and two twins), with family play room and private bath, and access to exterior pool and outside shower. The top level features, large unobstructed ocean views, sitting area and Jacuzzi. Fully furnished equipped kitchen and dining room, with luxurious furniture, marble floors and decorator touches, washer/dryer, beach towels and toys, DSL and Vonage to stay connected.

The hidden jewel is located on Playa Destiladeras which is considered to the be one of the top beaches in the PV and surrounding areas, yet you are less than 10 minutes from the towns of Punta Mita and La Cruz, 20 minutes to Salialitto and only 40 minutes from the airport.

- "We had an incredible trip. Dana and Craig went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They were both so responsive to all our questions and gave us so much helpful information and recommendations. Their house is beautiful with so many lounging and sitting areas, backyard plunge pool, fire pit, rooftop pool and sunset views. We took the golf carts down the short hill to the beach club every day and relaxed at the pool and/or pristine sandy beach. Chelo was wonderful - she prepared breakfast and lunch, made reservations, arranged taxis, Covid tests, and even helped take care of our baby while we packed. I can’t say enough about how great of an experience we had. We will definitely return again."
