- "We had an amazing stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott, Riviera Nayarit! The pool pool restaurant/bar were our favorite, but there are TONS of pools to enjoy! Of the smaller pools, there are some warm/hot and some cooler so be sure to check them for your preference! The food at the restaurants was great, and there’s an evening taco truck! The hibachi is AMAZING, best food we had and such a fun experience. The buffet always had something we enjoyed, be sure to fill up on breakfast because the pool bar food does not open until 12:00 (we are early risers). I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were the most lovely group of people and SO helpful and friendly. They truly care and want to make your experience amazing. The property is spread out/hilly, but you are able to request golf cart transportation around the property if you need it. My husband had a prior foot injury, any time the staff saw him walking they stopped and offered him a ride! We went to the beach club one day which was also a blast, the food and custom cocktails were delicious, the water was nice (they put colored flags out to indicate the water safety level) and we saw whales jumping! We went for a couple hours which was the perfect amount of time. We did not venture elsewhere, but had friends explore the area and venture to Sayalita and said it was fun and super safe. Overall, we have no complaints! Highly recommend. "

- "We wanted to stay in a quiet, less touristy town for this visit to Mexico. La Cruz didn’t have much happening the week we were there and it was pretty sleepy. Just what we wanted! The other Alamar owners/guests were very friendly. Beach club was excellent although the pool temperatures were a bit too warm. I loved their ceviche and tacos. Be sure to ask about happy hour since it will save you 50% off. (It was 3:30-4:30 when we visited) We hit Mega foods on the way to the condo and were so grateful that we did that since it’s quite a walk to get food anywhere near the condo. Just ask the taxi driver at the airport to add another hour for waiting. Bring large jugs of water and a bag of ice upon arrival. Found some wonderful restaurants. Try La Peska or Ala Braza. Look for Mario’s on Delfin street for the best grocery selection. Go to the fish market for amazing fresh fish. We walked to those places and took a taxi back. Although if you stay out too late it’s impossible to find a taxi so one night we had to walk back on the highway after listening to a wonderful band at the Green Tomate. No regrets!"

Perla 3 is located on the second floor of a terraced 3 storey building on the waterfront, away from the highway. The unit was clean and well stocked with basic kitchen supplies, and the beds were comfortable. The owner and property manager were very responsive, and remedied a couple of minor maintenance issues promptly. The property is a 5 minute taxi ride from the very lively town of Bucerias, and a short drive to the lovely neighbouring towns of La Cruz, San Pancho, and Sayulita. Recommended!"

There are a few areas where guests can stay yet each has a privacy that is lovely. The interior space is beautiful, comfortable and all the amenities needed are provided. Did I mention the amazing view? You look out over all of Puerto Vallarta, and a marina which provides lots of entertainment watching the boats come and go. And there is a pool which provided a great place to dip in the afternoon. We had our two small dogs with us and they were safe inside the fenced property. Anything we needed was promptly provided and the owner Paul was gracious and accomodating throughout the experience. I highly recommend staying here! My only caution would be if you have any issues with stairs or roosters. This property is located on a steep hill and there are several stairs one has to climb to access the space, and as is true for many places in Mexico - a tightly knit commumity of roosters live amongst the homes on the hill."

We had a fabulous stay!!" - "Alamar is an amazing complex to stay in, for families, friends or a nice couples trip. The unit was clean, well stocked and oh my that view! We could stand on the balcony forever! We loved both the Jungle Club and Beach Club. Didn’t venture to the tennis courts, gym or Jungle Club in the Delta tower so can’t comment on those. Seamless check in and excellent communication with the property manager. A couple of things to note: the resort isn’t set up great for walking to the beach club. You have to literally exit through the parking garage and walk along the road (no sidewalk) to exit the property on foot. A bit tricky with kids sometimes. Also a bummer the beach club closes food service at 6 and the restaurant portion for dining after 6 pm doesn’t start until December. That was a bit of a wrench in our plans since we hoped to do diners there with the kids and not have to leave that property. Overall a great stay. We would absolutely come back!"

The location of the condo is perfect because i went to sayulita, san pancho, and the puerto vallarta malecon "
