On a lake and less than a mile from golf or nature trail. Shopping is convenient in a small town atmosphere. Home has fantastic woodwork, large well equipped kitchen and covered patio. Two car garage and water fountain in courtyard. Close to the Iwo Jima memorial and Harlingen airport is only two miles away.

- "Our stay here was just what we needed to get away from our MN winter. The house is very large which accommodated the visitors we had. It is in a quiet neighborhood and close to shopping places. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of, which I absolutely loved. The home is well kept and very spacious. The upstairs bedrooms on the east side could use new curtains and carpeting as they are quite dated, but very livable. Beds throughout the house were comfortable. We did have a small "hiccup" at the beginning of our stay getting the pool and hot tub temperatures up, but Sylvia got right on that and by the time our kids and grandkids visited, we were able to enjoy the pool and spa. The weather cooperated almost the entire time we were there other than it being windy, which I understand is fairly normal for the area. We were able to have coffee out on the patio each morning and watched the daily routine of the ducks gathering for the day. I do have to give a huge shout out to Sylvia, who was always able to be contacted any time we had a question or ran into a situation we were unsure about. She made sure to check in with us to see how things were going and gave us suggestions on things to see and do in the area. Overall a great place to stay."

All the beds and bedding are new and very comfortable. The bottom floor has a light gray slate tile, upstairs is carpeted where all the bedrooms are located. House has multiple places to lounge and the kitchen has seating for eight and is well equipped. House has a foyer and rear patio that is half open and half covered (great area for kids to play). The community is beautiful and such a pleasure to take a morning run or an evening stroll. People are friendly and waive hello. It’s the friendliest and nicest place to live in Harlingen.

Another item of importance is the property location is close to both highways and a short drive to multiple dining and shopping areas.

Even though we allow families in the community, the property is very quiet, with neighbors respecting each other’s privacy and quiet time. The property has friendly on-site managers that can assist you to plan for activities, suggest activities, or places to visit.
Harlingen/McAllen area has shopping, nightlife, museums, outdoor recreation areas, a science center, as well as many locales where birdwatchers can find endemic and migratory species.

Eat in the designated eating area and clean up any crumbs. Do NOT leave any food in the open on counters or shelves. Place them in containers or in the freezer. Also, place the garbage out I. The large container frequently to prevent bugs from having a reason to entree. If you get a multi legged visitor, use the bug spray under the kitchen cabinet and let us know where you spotted one and if it was alive.

The fridge was missing the bars that hold food in the door, and the shelves were too short so food would fall off if put too far in toward the back. The microwave and some kitchen supplies were not clean. The place smelled very musty, even with the overpowering scents they had plugged into various outlets. The sliding door to the bedroom was difficult to close. Others used our parking spots as overflow parking. Overall, I would not recommend this place."

This apartment has everything seen in the attached photos that you will need for your stay to include a full kitchen with a microwave, crockpot, and a 4 chair dining room table. A comfortable seating arrangement in the living room with a 50" Amazon firetv. The bedroom contains a queen size bed, dresser, nightstand, bedside lamp, and a 32" roku tv. Although a washer and dryer are not located on property, there is one conveniently located next door on a first come first serve basis. These machines are operated by using quarters ($1.50 ea use).
