There were several different phone numbers for communicating and it got confusing. Check in instructions could have been greatly improved by adding that the appartment would be unlocked and keys inside. - "Very beautiful location and well cared for hotel (both the buildings and the grounds). The hot spring pools were wonderful and a highlight of the visit - better than most of the onsens we've been to in Japan! The breakfast (included in the room price) was the best of any of the hotels we stayed at in Peru, and the dinner was also fine. We would not hesitate to return to this location again, and would probably stay 3 nights and skip the Cruz de Condor day trip - instead just relax at the hotel, and walk up to the nearby Uyo Uyo ruins."

They offer many activities like skiing or snowboarding in the dune in front of the hotel which is 800 meters high, it is an incredible experience. I would give more than 5 stars if I could and I would definitely come back. For foreigners traveling to Peru, do not travel 4 hours to go to Huacachina which is a tourist trap. Take an extra 4 hours to visit the wonderful country of Peru and go see Carlos and Cory for a true 5 star experience and memorable videos and photos from your trip."

- "Ok" - "I found the Casa Andina in Tumbes a wonderful resort. EVERYONE was so friendly and the pool is beautiful. I would recommend this resort to all--particularly if you like to stay in a resort, do the beach and some kayaking. We also went on a short excursion to whale watch but didn't see any whales--of course, not the fault of the resort. More resorts and an expansion is being planned and I think that will make this particular area even more attractive."

- "This was an incredible stay while we visited Huacachina Oasis which was only 30 minutes away. The room was clean and spacious with a huge shower. We had a walk out patio that overlooked one of the swimming pools which was beautiful. The service was beyond exceptional! What ever we needed was delivered immediately and with a smile. The breakfast buffet and dinners were absolutely delicious. The property itself was immaculate and beautifully kept. And bonus, loved visiting the llamas. We only stayed here 2 nights, but I wish we could have stayed much longer. I highly recommend this property when visiting Ica."
