- "The location of the hotel is really noce because it is in the center, near the plaza, stores and coffeeshops. The service is excellent" - "Stayed here several times over the course of a couple of weeks in and around Cusco. Central, lovely friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, very clean, plenty of hot water 24/7 The standard double was fine (we had 1 night in this room type) but for other nights we found it worth paying a little extra for the Panoramic Suite which had loads of space, great while on an extended stay, a huge walk in shower which was great when returning from jungle trips and treks, and quite simply the best view in Cusco. The Plaza de Armas is lively though, especially in June, so expect some noise but grandstand views of all the parades and dance events. We didn't find the noise to be to much though and in fact during our stay the french doors onto the balcony were upgraded which gave a peaceful night's sleep even at the height of the Corpus Christ week celebrations "

- "Irma was the best!!! Since my wife and I got there she made us feel so comfortable. It's not a 5 star hotel but the attention to ensure that you're comfortable beats any 5 star hotel. We visited in late October so did not experience the mosquitos from other reviews. What we did experience was the view and the sound of the water flowing in the river. Some people pay to have this sound when falling asleep. The breakfast, the coffee, the assistance on where to go eat, the convenience, even giving us a poncho in case it rain during our Machu Pichu adventure and if we didn't need it just bring it back (no charge). These all made the staying at La Payacha and incredible experience. Thanks again Irma. "

The cylinder is a great budget option, and the concept is really cool - only downside is space if it’s for two people, for one it’s perfect. A lot of different areas to relax ans great food options onsite. The bonus for me was the cowork, wow!
