- "The house was nice and the picture were for the house but as most time, it looked nicer than it was. Overall the house was clean and the bed and everything was good, but everything was starting to get a bit old. It was winter and it was a bit call the radiators to be use were a bit old and made noise. At the beginning we only got one set of towels, with the humidity it was impossible those got dry, we asked and only the last day we got extra towels. There was not wash machine or dryer on the facility. The jacuzzi could not be filled in with hot water with the current hot deposit, so if you do you kill the hot water of the house. The service from the people in the house was good, breakfast was nice although preparation was a bit complex, the best the juice. The location is great in the middle of the sacred valley and we linked the place, I guess it much be much nicer in summer!!! In the end it was a good value for money."

The property does need some updating. The bathrooms all smelled and were not finished to a high standard. They look 30 years old and have been repaired and painted amateurly. Unfortunately, the house left much to be desired. When we first walked in, it looked absolutely beautiful. However, the house was very dirty. It looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, and certainly not thoroughly. The bottoms of our feet were black from walking barefoot. The rug in the upstairs bathroom was dirty as were the toilet and sinks. The home is pretty close to the ocean and therefore gets a lot of abuse from the salty air evidently. There were signs of rust on just about every surface possible, and it’s clear regular maintenance of any kind is also not done. There is only one screen on one door, which means in the evenings you choose between cool air and bugs. The two upstairs bedrooms have AC, and that was great but the rest of the house does not. This property is pretty isolated as well, the nearest full grocery store is 30 minutes away. Although there is a nice gas station/market about 2 miles away that could take care of most basic needs. This is a secure neighborhood, but no keys are provided for the house so you cannot lock the doors when you leave. We never had anyone bother us, but some may have a real issue with this. - "The villa looked nice but there was a few big inconveniences, first some sheets in the rooms were dirty and and stained, the kitchen was dusty also and many of the utensils were full of cob webs...coffee machine was full of mold... there was a rooms behind the kitchen that was not mentioned or introduce to us...full access of the villa was limited due to the jacuzzi next to the sauna being already out of order due to maintenence that was not previously mentioned... the villa also isn't equipped air conditioners instead the left us 2-3 dusty fans for the night heat and humidity, we were warned about the isolation of the villa from the super markets, cities and other necessities but we'd never thought it would be this extreme... it is quite dangerous to travel through at night due to the poorly lit streets and if you plan to go out at night, you will be out of luck because no Uber gets the the villa or refuse to take you. We were provided with a taxi company but they don't take calls after 9 PM...if you decide to return to the villa late at night you might find the roads towards the villa closed off, unfortunately the host told us the same night that it happened apparently the roads close at random and there was no one there to open them so we ended up paying a higher fare so that our taxi could find another route to the villa...sadly we ended up leaving before the check out date due to a very unpleasant experience... the only thing I will the host very responsive and John did"
