There were a lot of flies (a lot!) in the kitchen area but housekeeping ignored this situation until we asked for help, and they simply gave us a spray. Just a reminder that the 2nd and 3rd room are connected and share one bathroom, and the 4th small room is next to kitchen (not on 2nd floor), the 4th room is suitable for a single man only. The hotel is a bit far from town (drive 35 mins), but they can arrange transportation for us. A 6 pax van with driver cost THB1000/one way to town, but you can rent for 5 hours at THB1600, THB200/per extra hour, it's still a reasonable price at HuaHin. On the first afternoon after we checked in, they offered us a seafood barbecue in the evening for 6 pax at THB3800 which was really nice (need to cook by ourselves). If you stay there and you have no plan in the evening, it's a good choice. Besides, there are 2-3 small stores nearby the hotel, you can buy some drinks or snack if you need. And 2 very small massage place too, we asked them to our room for massage at night, it's around THB200/THB300 per hour. So overall, the experience was good and we had a happy time."

The pool is excellent and the service was very friendly. However, this place is more suited for independent living and doesn't offer most of the usual hotel services. Moreover, it is overpriced for what you get. For example, there is no reception and no phone number to call after hours. Breakfast was included and is humongous but options are limited and frankly it wasn't tasty. We had planned to cook most of our own meals since there aren't a lot of restaurant options nearby; this proved a little challenging as the kitchen was not fully equipped (though functional after requesting a chopping knife) and the promised barbeque grill wasn't there. You'll also need to come with a Thai speaker as there is no service in English. We had a good time, but the price/value ratio is not correct and wouldn't stay again for that reason."

The house is big enough for 9 to 10 people and yet their supplies (e.g., each bathroom is provided with only one roll of toilet paper) were only good for 6. The kitchen was awful. Dishes were greasy. The stove was dirty and old and its switches felt like almost falling off. Water pressure was a joke as we needed to take turns to take a shower. Most of the times, there was not enough hot water. There were only 2 lounge chairs at the poolside and they were dirty. "

The bathroom is all tiled with a sink, toilet, geyser and electric shower unit. Liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner are also provided. The mirror is mounted high up for some reason. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor wasn't designed to direct the water towards the sinkhole. The hotel has a garden area at the back with several tables, benches and sun loungers. Other facilities are reception/dining area where the hotel can also cook some basic Thai meals. Location wise the hotel is in the heart of the foreigners and expat entertainment area. Everything is within walking distance including the beach, cafes, restaurants and bars. The big shopping malls probably require transport though. Overall I had a great stay, although the rooms and facilities are basic It's clean and comfortable. The staff are great. It's hard to complain at this price. "

There was no soap, nor bottled water, nor toilet paper in the unit when we arrived... and it wasn't a case of the housekeeping just being slow in turning over the room. The owner had consciously decided not to provide these bare necessities, which amounts to a 100 Thai Baht, or less if you get the stuff in bulk. If you carry these kinds of things on your travels by default, you'll have no problem. If you pay over $50 for one night in this complex, it's not too unseemly to expect these bare necessities. We called down to reception, were informed by the staff that the owner did not provide these things by default, were connected to the owner (or someone representing them), and had an unpleasant conversation with them about what a Hotels.com establishment should provide in terms of baseline items. Bottom line: the place is nice. Change units if you get #499. Not worth the hassle."

This third room had then a horrible smell each time the toilet was flushed. At morning 8 AM the worker start working on the not finished parts. We escaped from the noise and left the hotel. In the afternoon we were very exhausted and it was raining at the beach that’s why we wanted to go for a nap to the hotel room. But the workers still mad a lot of noise and sleeping or recovery was not possible at all. We had to leave the hotel again. In the following night this room had no hot water anymore and we had to contact staff to get a shower in a fourth room. We took the chance and told the staff that they please should advice the workers to avoid noise close to our room at the next morning (Saturday), as we are in vacation. But we woke up again at 8 AM based on the noise of the workers, that was a good reason to leave…. Conclusion is that the hotel is still under construction, you need to expect unprofessional management, noise, smell, dusty and not working hot water. We are very disappointed that this hotel ruined our vacation."

Hin Nam Say Suay is a family residence in the north of Hua Hin located at 300m from the sea. There are 2 swimming pool, fitness room, sauna, internet connexion around the swimming pool. The condo is 4.5 km from the city center, collective taxis run every 10 mins, for 10 baht. Motorbike for renta t the office. Water and electricity are NOT included. Minimum 30 days stay, because ThaIland rules.
