- "Great room, clean, great service" - "It's an old (style) hotel. You smell it in the elevator (which is also classic), smell of oil and grease. The room we had was pretty big (free upgrade) and beautiful. Nice big bathroom, nothing special but everything clean and working well. The sounds of the city (and street next to it) can be heard pretty well, but I guess that's something that's difficult to prevent anyways. It didn't bother us so much. The beds where ok, good enough matrasses and 2 pillows per bed. There was some height difference between the 2 beds, which seemed a bit strange, but also that didn't bother us too much. I also guess that is not 'standard' in all rooms. The breakfast was very good. More than enough choice and good fresh, tasty products. It is exactly next to Vrijthof and immediately you walk into the city with all the shops. The location is absolutely perfect. We parked the car a little bit outside the center (Frontenpark parking) for only 12 euro per day. It's an easy walk even with a suitcase (with wheels that is)."

My mother lives in the house, the kitchen and bathroom are shared. In her spare time, she is available with conversations, information, excursions and trips to the train station. She also enjoys eating together.

This is a small room, but often that's all you need.

The room can be filled flexibly, if you prefer something to hang clothes on or a desk, done. If you want your own fridge, done.

Extra storage space outside the room.
A bicycle can also be safely stored on the roof terrace.

The room can be heated extra (extra costs if you are present a lot or work from home, or are a cold person, but always in further consultation).

Washing machine and dryer. Active attitude in keeping clean is desired.

Lots of privacy, for a small price. This living studio offers just that. Furnished with a comfy double bed, a small living and a desk. The sanitary room has a shower cabin, a sink and a kitchenette. Outside is a terrace where smoking is allowed. This space is particularly suitable for those who don't need the requirements of a luxury hotel, but who can enjoy simplicity.

The space
This check-in-yourself studio is located on the ground floor of a large family house consisting of three floors, so we will hardly notice each other's presence when there. It can happen though, that sometime I want to use the washing machine or enter the garden. The passage of the sanitary room of the studio will then have to be entered. But you can lock and darken this space (from the inside), so privacy on your end is always guaranteed.

Guest access
You can park for free nearby. And if you come by motorbike, you can stall it (roofed) in the front garden of the house. Safe and away from the public road. Bicycles can even be stored in the entrance hall of the house.

Other things to note
Everything is provided, such as cooking utensils, two towels and fresh linen. There is also a Lidl within walking distance. The toilet is located on the first floor. There's a HDTV with Chromecast.

I have been living in this house since March 2013 and since my children flew out, it was very quiet here. I had good experiences renting from AIRBNB myself and became a host at Airbnb in 2018, hoping to meet nice people again.
I no longer provide breakfast, there are several supermarkets and a sandwich shop within walking distance, as well as nice restaurants.
Since I am allergic to dogs, I don't want dogs in my BnB.

My house is a cozy thirties house and equipped with every comfort of today. I have a canopy with carport, where there is the possibility to park your motorbike or car if you like that. You can park for free in front of the house.

From this ideally located accommodation you are in the center in a jiffy and you can take beautiful walks in the area. There is a cozy harbor and of course plenty of terraces and nice shops and some interesting museums. Nearby is also the Muziekgieterij and the Vrijthof.

The space
The sofa bed is in a separate room that we use as a study. The shared bathroom with toilet, bath, shower and sinks is opposite. The room is on the first floor with an adjoining balcony. The head end of the sofa bed can be tilted so that you can read in bed. You can also sit on the couch or at the large table. The room overlooks the garden and the park.

Parking is not cheap in Maastricht, but you can park for free at Fort Willemweg 1, a 17-minute walk away. Or park for free at P+R Station Maastricht Noord. A bus leaves every 15 minutes to the city centre. Take bus line 3, 10 or 30. You only pay €2.40 pp

If you come by train or flixbus (this stops at the back of the station!) take bus 8 at the station towards Boschpoort, stop Mosae Forum/Centrum and it is a 4 min. walk. Or take bus 1, 2, 6 or 7, stop Boschstraat/Maagdendries, then it is a 1 min. walk

The newly renovated kitchenette has a refrigerator, two ceramic hobs, 3-in-1 microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle. All accessories such as crockery, pans, drying cloths and towels are provided. The studio has its own entrance and a separate terrace with table and two garden chairs with seat cushions.

The studio is also easily accessible for the elderly (within the same floor without thresholds). For wheelchairs, the Tuinfluitertje is less suitable due to two thresholds outside.
