These modern and comfortable apartments in Resort Maastricht were finished by the middle of 2018. The apartments are all situated around the newly built Wilhelmusplein square, which forms the central point of this resort, where you'll find the majority of the facilities. They include a number of cafes and restaurants, a supermarket and a bakery. There's also a newly built, partially covered swimming pool (expected to open in July 2018), surrounded by a nice sunbathing area. The apartments are spread out over a few different buildings (up to five floors tall) and can be reached via a lift. This means that your apartment could be either on the ground floor, or on one of the higher floors. There are three different types of apartments. The first floor also boasts a cozy living room where you can unwind after a day of exploring the city. Sink into the sofabed and enjoy a movie night or simply bask in the ambiance of this inviting space.

Venture upstairs to discover two bedrooms, another bathroom with a shower, dedicated workspace and chillout area. The master bedroom awaits, featuring a double bed, a desk and enough storage space for your belongings. Across the master bedroom is the second bedroom, featuring a single box spring bed and a lounge chair that can easily be transformed into an additional bed if needed.

Since the apartment is in the middle of the old town and there are bars/restaurants nearby, it can get a bit loud at times. I have provided earplugs at the apartment if needed.

There is no direct parking available. However, you can reach out to me and ask for visitors parking. I can register your license plate and allow you to park in permit spots. Otherwise many parking garages are available and Park+Ride as well. I recommend coming by train, as the apartment is only a lovely 15 minute walk away.

AMBIANCE
The building dates from around 1900 and has been able to retain many authentic elements, while still enjoying all the contemporary luxury. That gives both atmosphere, cosiness and comfort.

LAYOUT
This apartment is almost 55 m2 and is located on the second floor of this building. This luxury apartment is suitable for 5 people, has a spacious living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Authentic elements can be found in every room. The bathroom is also very atmospheric. The walls at the rear and front are partly sloping, as this floor is directly under the roof. However, the air conditioning system ensures that it remains very pleasant here even with warm temperatures outside.

LIVING WITH KITCHEN
Attractive living room (27.7 m2) with large corner sofa, large dining table and TV at the seating area. The TV is a large smart TV equipped with Chrome cast, which means that you can use your own smart phone as a remote control to watch what you want through apps on your own smart phone. For example Netflix, Disney, Youtube and of course the streaming service of your own TV provider at home, so that you can watch all the channels that you have at home. Most TV providers nowadays have an app for free watching TV via streaming, which you can then download on your smart phone. We have a strong Wifi. In the living room there is a kitchen with 4-burner ceramic hob, sink, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, oven-microwave-grill-combi, countertop and enough cupboard space above and below.

BEDROOM 1
3-person bedroom (11.3 m2) with a Kingsize box spring bed with pocket spring mattress and extra comfort topper of 8 cm, which guarantees the best sleeping comfort. There is also a separate 1-person box spring in this room with the same mattress and comfort topper, plus a wardrobe. This bedroom is located at the front of the property and has 1 window. The bedroom is accessible from the living room.

BEDROOM 2
2-person bedroom (9.4 m2) with a Kingsize box spring bed (180x200) with pocket spring mattress and extra comfort topper of 8 cm, which guarantees the best sleeping comfort. There is also a wardrobe in this room. This bedroom is accessible from the living room and is located at the front of the building.

HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING

If you have a car with you, you can park for free in one of the parking places in the street of this property. From this property, you can reach the motorway A2 within 3 minutes, with which you can drive in the direction of Maastricht, Belgium or Aachen.

The ideal base for all the beautiful, entertaining, cultural and active things South Limburg and the Euregio have to offer. Within 10 minutes to half an hour you can reach everything by train or car.
In Eijsden itself everything can be found within walking distance: from restaurants, cafes, picturesque streets, terraces, castles, nature, water fun, to a complete shopping center.

AMBIANCE
The building dates from around 1900 and has been able to retain many authentic elements, while still enjoying all the contemporary luxury. That gives both atmosphere, cosiness and comfort.

LAYOUT (ALL GROUNDFLOOR):
The property is almost 71 m2 (incl. Outdoor terrace of 13.4 m2) and is located on the ground floor of this building. This cozy apartment is suitable for 6 people, has a cozy living room and spacious kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Authentic elements can be found in every room.

LIVING WITH OPEN KITCHEN (GROUND FLOOR)
Cozy living room with kitchen (28 m2 together) with large corner sofa, dining table with 6 chairs and TV at the seating area. The TV is a smart TV equipped with Chrome cast, which means that you can watch what you want with your own smart phone as your remote controle, through apps on your own smart phone, for example Netflix, Disney, Youtube and of course the streaming service of your own TV provider at home, so you can watch all the channels you have at home. Most TV providers nowadays have an app for free watching TV via online streaming, which you can download on your smart phone. We have a strong Wifi.
The kitchen is equipped with ceramic hob, sink, fridge, dishwasher, oven-microwave-grill-combi, countertop and enough cupboard space above and below.

GARDEN / TERRACE (GROUND FLOOR)
From the kitchen as well as from bedroom 2 you can reach the private outdoor terrace (13.4 m2), with also a (lockable) terrace door to the street behind. On this terrace there is a folding table with folding benches. Optionally, bicycles can also be placed here if you have them with you. You can make room for this by folding up the table and benches on the terrace. However, the bicycles can also be parked at the front (if properly locked).
This outdoor terrace is next to the terrace of the other groundfloor apartment in this residence, seperated by only a wall. We therefore ask the guests to take each other into account when they sit on the outside terrace. The doors in those wall can be opened in case of a combined booking of both apartments by one group.

BEDROOM 1 (GROUND FLOOR):
Beautiful 4-person bedroom (12.5 m2) with a Kingsize (180x200 cm) box spring bed with pocket spring mattress and integrated comfort topper of 8 cm, which guarantees the best sleeping comfort. In addition, this room has a bunk bed that is also suitable for adults (2 x 90x200 beds) and is equipped with good mattresses (pocket springs with comfort foam topper), so that sleeping comfort is also optimal in the bunk bed. In this bedroom there is 1 wardrobe. The bedroom is at the front of the property and has 1 window.

BEDROOM 2 (GROUND FLOOR):
2-person bedroom (7.7 m2) with a Kingsize (180x200 cm) box spring bed with pocket spring mattress and integrated comfort topper of 8 cm, which guarantees the best sleeping comfort. There is also a wardrobe in this room. From this bedroom there is a direct connection with bathroom 2 (ensuite). This bedroom is located at the rear of the property, adjacent to its own outdoor terrace and has 1 window and 1 door to the terrace.

BATHROOM 1 (GROUND FLOOR):
Luxurious newly constructed bathroom (6 m2) with authentic tiled floor, shower, toilet and sink. The bathroom is accessible from the living room.

BATHROOM 2 (GROUND FLOOR):
Small but practically classified bathroom (2.7 m2) adjacent to bedroom 2 (ensuite), with walk-in shower, toilet and sink.

HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING
Each radiator can be individually controlled. As a result, you only heat the rooms you find necessary for heating so we do not spoil any unnecessary energy. On the first floor there is an air conditioner you can switch on/off and control easily.

LOCKING AND CHECKIN
We work with a self-checkin system, which is the most flexible for both guests and us. Shortly before your arrival you will be provided with the checkin informatie (such as your access code).

HOUSE RULES
This is not a party location, it is a stylish authentic building from 1900 containing 5 different holiday apartments that have been furnished with care and an eye for detail, of which this accommodation is 1.
An authentic building creates a lot of atmosphere, but can also be noisy when guests cause noise pollution. Therefore, all guests are expected to be quiet after 10:00 PM and silent after 12 Midnight. This is all the more important when you sit together on the outside terrace or inside with the windows open.
Parties, smoking and pets are prohibited. Fines or extra costs may be charged for violating these or other house rules.

GETTING AROUND BY TRAIN
As described above, you only have to cross the street and you are at Eijsden railway station: the smallest, most southern and idyllic railway station in the Netherlands. So if you arrive by train at this property, you only have to cross the street to checkin. From Eijsden station you can easily do many daily trips at your destination, without have the parking problems which can have if you do these trips by car (especially the city trips):

- Visé: 4 minutes trip, scheduled every hour
- Valkenburg: 28 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour
- Meerssen: 23 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour

- Aachen: 75 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour
- Sittard: 44 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour

Trains run from early in the morning until late in the evening. Check the Arriva travel planner for ticket prices and exact times during the week and on Saturdays and Sundays.

GETTING AROUND BY CAR
If you have a car with you, you can park for free in one of the parking places in the street of this property. From this property, you can reach the motorway A2 within 3 minutes, with which you can drive in the direction of Maastricht, Belgium or Aachen.

Lots of privacy, for a small price. This living studio offers just that. Furnished with a comfy double bed, a small living and a desk. The sanitary room has a shower cabin, a sink and a kitchenette. Outside is a terrace where smoking is allowed. This space is particularly suitable for those who don't need the requirements of a luxury hotel, but who can enjoy simplicity.

The space
This check-in-yourself studio is located on the ground floor of a large family house consisting of three floors, so we will hardly notice each other's presence when there. It can happen though, that sometime I want to use the washing machine or enter the garden. The passage of the sanitary room of the studio will then have to be entered. But you can lock and darken this space (from the inside), so privacy on your end is always guaranteed.

Guest access
You can park for free nearby. And if you come by motorbike, you can stall it (roofed) in the front garden of the house. Safe and away from the public road. Bicycles can even be stored in the entrance hall of the house.

Other things to note
Everything is provided, such as cooking utensils, two towels and fresh linen. There is also a Lidl within walking distance. The toilet is located on the first floor. There's a HDTV with Chromecast.

Our cozy, newly furnished double studio (surface 30 m2) has a hard stone floor and is equipped with a separate shower with toilet and sink, two single beds, a dining table with two chairs; two comfortable chairs and a small digital flat screen television (KPN). The newly renovated kitchenette has a refrigerator, two ceramic hobs, 3-in-1 microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle. All accessories such as crockery, pans, drying cloths and towels are provided. The studio has its own entrance and a separate terrace with table and two garden chairs with seat cushions.

Free mobile internet (WiFi) is available.

The studio is also easily accessible for the elderly (within the same floor without thresholds). For wheelchairs, the Tuinfluitertje is less suitable due to two thresholds outside.
