Sit inside and enjoy the great views whatever the weather, swim at the beach, or just relax. We often have seals visiting and resting on the coastline in both directions. We also have a bush walk and plenty of pretty coastline to explore.

Located on an extremely quiet 5-acre lifestyle block. We are 5 mins off the Clutha Gold Cycle Trail. Perfect for cyclists, business travelers, couples, solo adventurers. Private, fully self-contained studio,detached from main house, with a private Garden outlook.

The Studio Offers:

Kitchenette: The kitchenette is equipped with a toaster, jug, microwave, refrigerator, Tea, coffee, sugar, cutlery and crockery.
There are several Cafes, Fast Food Options, and local Tavern close by. Ask us for recommendations :)

Bathroom & Laundry: Includes a standalone shower, toilet, towel rack, basin and laundry facilities include and washing machine, clothes rack, iron and ironing board. We provide you with nice big towels, hairdryer, shampoo/body soap, washing powder and toilet paper.

Studio Furniture: Super comfortable Queen size bed with quality linen and bedding, a desk, 2-seater reclining couch to relax on or watch TV. There is also an outdoor table and chairs for you to enjoy the garden view while sipping a wine or beer on the warmer evenings.

There is a portacot available on request.

Heating/Cooling: the studio has a very good heat pump which will keep you warm on the cooler days and also cool you on the hot ones!

Guest Access/Parking: Free car parking is available on site. We also have space for larger vehicle, boats and trailers. Please let us know if you require extra parking space on booking.

NEW! We now offer 2 x Sinch Jaunt 2 E-Bikes for hire if you'd like to enjoy a section of the amazing new Clutha Gold Trail! $90 per day each. Please let us know when booking if you would like to hire these. Payment can be made at check-in. Cash only.

Guests are welcome to use the large lawn outside the studio, as well as the wooden outdoor furniture on the raised deck overlooking the paddock.
The spa and covered BBQ area next to the house is not for guest use sorry.

We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe and prevent the spread of COVID-19 by sharing our cleaning schedule with you.
See our schedule below – this based on recommendations from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Our cleaner will wash their hands thoroughly before and after each cleaning and disposable gloves are worn at all times.
The Studio is well ventilated for a minimum of 20 minutes before cleaning. All windows open during the entire cleaning process.
Disposable cloths are used when possible, and those that are not are machine-washed at the highest heat setting appropriate for the material.
All linens are laundered at the highest heat setting.
All surfaces are cleaned then disinfected with Geller Medic Shield (hospital grade surface spray disinfectant).

Milton is central to lots of places. We are 15 minutes from coastlines, we are the gateway to Central Otago or The Catlins & Southern Scenic Route, 15min from Dunedin airport, 40 minutes to Dunedin. We are 5 minutes from the Clutha Gold Cycle Trail. We are in walking distance to our local supermarket, cafes and the centre of town. A self-contained 2-bedroom apartment on a shared property with all the amenities and plenty of space with a kitchen, laundry, lounge and off- street parking.
