- "The breakfast they offer is really good. Eggs, meat, waffles, cereals baked goods, yogurt, juices, milk, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. You’re approximately 30 minutes from Destin, Fort Walton Beach or Okaloosa Island. Due to covid they are not cleaning rooms every day. If you want fresh towels you’ll need to go to the front desk. It was a nice last minute booking for my wife and I to take the kids to the beach for the week. The facility offers a very small fitness center which has a flat bench and weights that go to 50lbs, treadmill, elliptical machine and all in one machine. There’s a small outdoor pool as well."

There is a stairway into the water right outside of the home for swimming, lighting at mid-dock and end of the dock, green fishing lights on the dock for night fishing, Pole holders, benches to sit on, and a freshwater shower at the end of the dock with hot and cold water.

Our home is beautifully appointed with high end finishes. We offer 2 living areas so there’s plenty of room for everyone. Each of the 3 large bedrooms offers a different theme and has full large closets. We have 2 full bathrooms, a custom kitchen with all new appliances, cabinets and island. The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of glasses, dishes and cookware. Our custom desk has an ergonomic chair for comfort, and we have a full size laundry room with washer/dryer.

The private back yard is fully fenced and has a custom built propane grill. There is a large screened in porch off the sunken living room that has an outdoor vintage table, rocking in chairs and hanging lights.

The front porch has a beautiful custom trellis and comfortable furniture.

Closer to our home we offer a locals private beach less than a mile away on the bay. The boat ramp and Choctawhatchee Park is a mile away as and offers a boat ramp and picnic tables under the oak trees.

I typically keep to myself, but am happy to chat with you about anything (I can talk your ear off though, so proceed with caution). I work from home, so I’ll usually be available if you need anything.

Other things to note
I work from home and am frequently in meetings so it needs to be relatively quiet during the day. I also have a medium to large sized dog so must be okay with dogs (my dog can also be a barker when he hears noises outside, so something to keep in mind if that’s going to disturb you during the day or if you’re not comfortable with dogs)!

This unit is cute, cozy, and upgraded it has everything you need for a weekend get away in the beautiful community of Bluewater Bay. You are 10-15 mins from Destin without all the traffic and hustle. If you stay within the community there are many amenities in Bluewater within 5 minutes.

Relax, open a glass of wine and sit out on your baloney with amazing water views and landscapes.

The space
You have access to the entire unit including, kitchen, washer/dryer, living room, bathroom with large tub/shower, private balcony, and king size bed. There is also the Bluewater Marina within walking distance to the condo with a convenient store, restaurant, bar, and a boat launch/parking. Feel free to bring your boat and contact the Bluewater Marina (850) 897- 2821 for boat accommodations. No worries with having to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage. A elevator is onsite unlike other places to stay nearby.

Relax in a quiet and safe neighborhood close to the high school, college, Air Force Base as well as restaurants and shopping. Beaches and waterfront are just a short drive away! Home is constantly being improved which means there spots that trim might be missing or touch-up painting might be required. Garage and upstairs is off limits because they’re still under construction. There’s no cameras in guest areas but there are to ensure the off limit areas are followed.

The space
Living room with large vaulted ceilings makes it feel large and spacious. Bedroom at the back corner of the house is quiet and safe with an attached bathroom. Kitchen has basic dishes, appliances, flatware, and cooking needs to accommodate short and long term guest. I have someone that mows the lawn during the growing season twice a month. I’ll try and notify guests if it overlaps with your stay in order to avoid surprises.

You are able to use everything in the house and decks and use all chairs and tables Please do not attempt to access any sheds on the property. They are used for storage for extra necessities for the property and maintenance.

Please be mindful of the wooden floors and wooden furniture. Do your best to not mark or scratch it on purpose. :)

The fold out extra beds are not designed for people over 250 pounds.... The camp cot fold out accordion style beds can handle up to 275 pounds

Excessive cleaning fee is $50, this includes dirty dishes piled in the sink, nasty floors where people go in and out and don’t bother cleaning their feet, trash throughout the yard, beer cans all over the place, spilled food or drinks on furniture, over flowing trash cans inside (we have a large can outside for trash), OR cigarette butts thrown throughout the yard....

If a party is thrown you will be charged a $250 fee and kicked out of the property immediately and prevented from booking ever with us again....

Pets are possible on a case by base basis... there is a $49 one time pet fee per 30 day period, and they must be on leashes at all times when out on the property and cleaned up after. If left inside by themselves they need a carrier or cage to be held in.

The creek does not have fish, so don’t expect to go fishing…. It’s a small creek….
