Parking is free, but you should be sensitive that the marina is part of a working boat yard and don't park to obstruct traffic in and out. The toilet got numerous mentions in other reviews. Just follow the instructions on the wall. Fill the pitcher from the shower, pour in some water, close the lid and push the button. No paper or other items allowed in the toilet. The shower was a bit cool, and the plumbing needs some attention since there were small leaks from the valves. Overall we had a good and unique experience with our stay on the houseboat. Recommended for the adventuresome."

Upon leaving, the freezer handle mind you that was already broken at the bottom finished breaking when cleaning out to leave. Southern Vacation Rentals has opted to charge us to replace it after explaining the situation and state of the place upon arrival. A private room in a spacious home in the middle of town. Guests are welcome to use all spaces (Kitchen, Porch, Backyard, etc). 10min to downtown and both bases, 12min to the beach! Room has a Twin bed and a chair/desk. Pets may be welcome on a case-by-case basis.

My dog Lila and my cat Casey are both extremely friendly. I keep both out of the guest room at all times to keep it hair and dander free for guests. I clean very frequently to keep the shared spaces hair-free as well.

You will hear noise during this construction period. Discounts will not be offered during this time.
