- "We had an amazing time" - "Made a stop last-minute when plans changed. Great place right on the water. " - "The unit and the complex were really cute and clearly had been updated recently. This particular unit faced the water and sat basically right on a little beach butting up to the bay. A lovely view! And the location was just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach; two public beach access sites with crosswalks are within quick walking distance. The pool was nice too. The unit is very small; you have to get creative with furniture in the living room to pull the bed out. But the beds were comfortable and the shower (although a little dirty when we got there) was nice. We had an a/c issue while there but maintenance responded quickly to address it. Communication from the host/property manager in general was very quick and helpful with our questions. A lot of the areas around the complex on the same u-shaped street though are a little run down, and it was hard to find an area to walk our dog that had any grass not above our knees or public areas that weren’t trash-lined asphalt. One needed addition in the unit are closet door knobs; they are really difficult to open without them. "

Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, fish, etc. The space is treated regularly for pests however, you may come across a palmetto bug, wood roach, American roach, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, termites, etc. During storms, we tend to find that insects can and will invade spaces to get away from the rain. While we do take precautions to keep these critters out, it is sometimes out of our control as this is the environment in which we live. The property is located very close to the water — snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks and such, please make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Swimming in the bay there are a variety of aquatic species that can cause harm, swim at your own risk.

The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not provide additional cleaning or housekeeping services during your stay. Detailed checkout instructions can be found in the StellarDweller reservation portal, which was sent to you on your booking date.

The neighborhood it’s in is a little questionable—a mix of nice vacation rentals and some low-income housing. However, it’s safe. We had no issues with any riffraff running about or creating problems. But this condo seems to separate itself nicely from all that, thankfully. The walk to the public beach access area is short and easy. The condo itself is super comfortable and clean. The beds are excellent. In fact, they are so nice we questioned our choice of mattress at home. We want one this soft and comfy! There are TVs in every room, which is great. It can sleep five to six people—albeit that would be quite crowded for this place. It has one bathroom, washer and dryer, hairdryer, stove and oven, iron and ironing board, but no dishwasher. All dishes have to be done by hand. But no big deal. We would come back here for sure. It does the trick. I highly recommend Stewby’s Seafood Shanty down the street. Amazing seafood! For your comfort and peace of mind, our property is equipped with a Minut Smart Home Sensor. This small device monitors noise levels, temperature, humidity, and motion near the entry to help ensure a safe, comfortable stay for everyone

LINENS/SUPPLIES: The linens and supplies provided will not be replenished during your stay as housekeeping is not provided, you have the option to use the the washer/dryer provided (if the property includes in unit) or you can use the community laundry to clean linens which is normally coined check the house manual for codes. Consumables have already been provided for the duration of your stay. To maintain the quality and cleanliness of our linens and Towels, we kindly ask guests to avoid using them for any items that may cause stains or discoloration, such as makeup, hair dye, tanning products, or coloring sticks. Many of these substances cannot be removed easily, and in some cases, the stains are permanent. When this happens, the linens must be disposed of and replaced, which comes at an additional cost. If our cleaning team provides a photo report of stained or damaged linens beyond normal use, a replacement or cleaning fee will be charged to the guest. Thank you for helping us keep our linens fresh, clean, and comfortable for all guests.

We kindly ask all guests to notify us of your expected arrival time at least 6 hours in advance. This helps us ensure the property is fully ready and any access arrangements are smooth.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 10am. For the cleaner to have time to prepare for the next guest properly, we ask that guests have checked out by this time. Guests are to leave keys as required in the House Manual. Check-out is defined as all guests and personal property being entirely off of the property with keys in the required location. The guest agrees to pay a $50 fine if not checked out by the specified check-out time.

If late check-out is required, please confirm with the host prior to booking using the Airbnb app messenger. If late check-out is approved by the host, the Guest agrees to pay a $25 late check-out fee for each extended hour of stay.

PROPERTIES WITH STAIRS: Please use rails when using stairs, no running, or horseplay, children will need to be accompanied when using stairs, if there are any hazards please report them before using stairs.

PROPERTIES WITH BACKYARD/FRONT YARD: The yards are on a maintenance schedule however, there can be hazards like glass, cacti, sand spurs, construction debris, etc placed that has not been acknowledged. Please wear shoes and watch where you step. Please check yard for pets.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANTS: Only the specific number of guests noted in the booking are allowed on premises unless approved in writing by the host/manager. If Guest exceeds the occupancy noted in the reservation, all guests and/or visitors to the Property will be immediately evicted without refund for unused days remaining. Guest also agrees to pay a charge of $20 per person/ per day for every visitor not identified by Guest in the reservation.

AGE: You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of booking to reserve this Property. Guest confirms that he/she is older than 18.

SHOES: Guests shall remove shoes when inside the home.

WILD ANIMALS/PESTS: Some properties are near large bodies of water, swamp, or areas where wild animals roam. While visiting Florida please be mindful we do have tropical bugs — mosquitoes, palmetto bugs, wood roaches, no seeums, etc. While we do actively treat for pests you may encounter a few critters during your stay. If the doors are left open, you will most likely allow these creatures in the home. As much as we’d love a critter free home sometimes it’s just not possible. Let us know if you’ve encountered anything that may alarm you!

SMOKING FEE: Guest agrees to pay a $500 smoke Damage Cleaning Fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered by host/manager or cleaning crew after guest checks out. This fee will cover costs to remove odors from the home, and lost revenue during cleaning.

PETS: Pets are NOT allowed.

EVENTS/ VENDORS: No Events. Any vendors entering the Property are prohibited.

REPORTING DAMAGE: The guest agrees to keep the Property in the same condition throughout their stay. Any damage to furnishings, fixtures, furniture, or other notable conditions found upon arrival will be reported to the Host/Manager within one (1) hour of Occupancy. LINENS/SUPPLIES: The linens and supplies provided will not be replenished during your stay as housekeeping is not provided, you have the option to use the the washer/dryer provided (if the property includes in unit) or you can use the community laundry to clean linens which is normally coined check the house manual for codes. Consumables have already been provided for the duration of your stay. To maintain the quality and cleanliness of our linens and Towels, we kindly ask guests to avoid using them for any items that may cause stains or discoloration, such as makeup, hair dye, tanning products, or coloring sticks. Many of these substances cannot be removed easily, and in some cases, the stains are permanent. When this happens, the linens must be disposed of and replaced, which comes at an additional cost. If our cleaning team provides a photo report of stained or damaged linens beyond normal use, a replacement or cleaning fee will be charged to the guest. Thank you for helping us keep our linens fresh, clean, and comfortable for all guests.

We kindly ask all guests to notify us of your expected arrival time at least 6 hours in advance. This helps us ensure the property is fully ready and any access arrangements are smooth.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 10am. For the cleaner to have time to prepare for the next guest properly, we ask that guests have checked out by this time. The Lighthouse Loft is where simplicity meets comfort with gorgeous waterfront glory. This spacious loft has room for up to four guests comfortably and offers the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.
The living area includes:

Upstairs awaits a super comfortable queen bed with a view. You’ll have a private entry by an outdoor staircase, and you can enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails on the brand new large deck as you watch the dolphins and catch the killer sunrises and sunsets over the Bay.

The Lighthouse Loft is set up to accommodate four guests (two on the sleeper sofa and two on the queen bed upstairs). The stairs to the loft are steep and are not for older adults or people with limitations. You can also sleep on the main floor of the loft on the pull out couch or air mattress.

This loft is a private space located on the upper West side of the Manor on the Bay. Manor on the Bay is a large home transformed into multiple rental units and is available to be rented as one entire house.

Guest access
Your room, bathroom, and balcony are all private. The outdoor areas are shared with guests and owners. Do not enter parts of the property that you have not booked.

Other things to note
The stairs to the loft are steep and are not for older adults or people with limitations.

Pool heat is extra at $65 for the first day, and $45 each day after that. The pool is heated to about 75 degrees. In the winter, it takes 12-20 hours to heat. In the summer, the water temperature is between 80 and 95 degrees unless it just rained.
We will preheat the pool for you so that it is ready for your arrival.

Spa heat is included.
The pool and spa close at 10 pm and open at 7am.

You will be hard-pressed to find a spot that you can't walk to - there are some awesome restaurants and activities right nearby!

Seaside Escape is a limited-service, 8-unit boutique property. While there is no on-site management, our cleaning team is on the property daily and can assist when needed. Extra supplies are available in the shared laundry/supply room, and we’re always a message or call away!

This is not a secluded stay—other guests will be in the building. While the rooms are private and newly renovated, sound may carry due to thin walls.

Early check-in/late check-out is not guaranteed but we’ll do our best to accommodate if possible.

The property is located one block off Eglin Parkway, in an older, revitalizing part of town. It’s tucked between two businesses, and while the property is well-lit, the surrounding street may feel dim at night. A nearby club can cause noise on Saturday nights, and occasional sirens may be heard due to the police/fire station a block away. Despite this, the area is safe and secure.

Keep it simple at this centrally-located condo just a short walk to the sand and emerald waves. Take the time to relax and have some fun on the beach, then check out the local favorite restaurants, bars, and family activities just down the road. The pool is just around the building.

The space
Our unit is located on the second floor of the condo building, stair access only. Walk right into the cool oasis with a full kitchen on the left, complimented by countertop bar seating with an open look into the living room and dining area. Make a cup of coffee while you plan your fun day. Laundry and a half bathroom are located downstairs across from the kitchen. Go upstairs into a split space for a cozy retreat - the first bedroom on the right has a queen bed, the second bedroom on the left has a queen bed with loft access to two more queen beds. The loft upstairs can get warm in the summer but we provide an AC fan tower. Each bedroom has a full bathroom.
The beach access is just across the main road on Okaloosa island.
The balcony is under construction and not accessible at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Head across Brooks Bridge and over to Okaloosa Island to check out the dolphin encounters at the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, explore the boardwalk, and walk on even more of those sugar-sand beaches this area is famous for, all within four miles of this property. More adventures await just eight miles east in Destin, where you'll find amazing scuba, snorkeling, and sailing opportunities.
