Enjoy a peaceful getaway in a beautiful, private guest house located on the Chula Vista Bayou. The Ohana house sits on a 1.4 acre lot, nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Wake up to a view of the water surrounded by towering live oak trees and wildlife. Dock your boat in our private water slip or drive just 15 minutes to the breathtaking white sandy beaches. Looking for something active? Pickleball courts and the FWB golf course are just walking distance away
The space
The Ohana guest house is private and completely separate from the main house and is located behind the garage. The Ohana is a 700 sq ft, one bedroom/1 bath guest house, complete will all the necessities plus some. The Ohana was just newly renovated in 2024, giving off a mix of modern and classic southern charm and ready to be enjoyed.
Feel free to walk around the property, take a dip in the water, go fishing off the dock to catch red fish and speckled trout, or make a bonfire down by the water. (fire wood supplied)
Guest access
Upon first entrance, guests will walk through the garage to get to the Ohana, and will have a choice of entrance from then on, as there is a side door and a back door that connects to the deck. To get to the deck, guests will need to walk to the back of the house or go through it.
The Ohana is completely separate from the main house and includes a large deck just for guests.
Guest have access to the entire property and may walk down to the water to swim or just relax on the dock. The only amenities off limits is the sauna and ice bath.

- Hiking/Natural Trails: Timberlake Trailhead - Walking and trail riding - 3 minute drive, Oak Tree Nature Preserve - 1 mile trail - 10 minutes, Liza Jackson Park - In the heart of downtown - 15 minutes, and Turkey Creek Park - Beautiful, man made trail, no pets allowed - 20 minutes
Air Force Armament Museum - 7 minutes drive
