- "The property itself isn’t bad considering is a very old building, everything was clean and we liked that, however the musty smell coming out from the kitchen’s faucet was really bad!! Contaminated the whole apartment plus the humidity is not a good match, the a/c (split) it doesn’t help at all, I think it needs a new filter or at least some repair because after we turned on I started sneezing like crazy… Overall is not that bad if you planned stay for a day (like we did) but for longer than that I’m not sure if you gonna enjoy your stay, without mention there’s not elevator and the stairs are really dark. Good thing you have a very close parking spot just crossing the street at the arenas hotel and the view from the balcony to the beach is really nice we loved that "

Easy to get to most places… very good for exploring by foot. reasonably close to the Cathedral. Clean modern apartment. Only slight negatives… 1. For a family of four, two daughters aged 14 and 10….. it was a little congested… sofa bed in the lounge meant the lounge space was confined. I think quite expensive but that could be due to the location and we booked late. 2. We thankfully got rid of our rented car because to get it to this location would have been difficult.. I’m not sure you could actually park any where near there… the nearest metro is about 15 minutes away. The communication with the owner was very good… 3. There is a cleaning fee… we knew about it in advance but I do think it was a touch steep. Overall however, positive. "

It would have been nice to know in advance as I could have brought some decaff pods from home! However, there were only espresso cups in the room so a big mug of coffee wasn't going to happen. Until I found a larger coffee cup in the reception area! I also found a water cooler machine downstairs (unfortunately only after I'd carried a 6 litre bottle back from the shop!). All in all, a great place to stay but a little more information about the facilities beforehand would have made it even better! I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again."
