Our suite is located directly beneath the Felker Lake Trading Post which is our convenience store with grocery items, deli snacks, camping gear and souvenirs. The Trading Post operates until 9PM each evening so guests will hear footsteps and muffled voices as customers come in to make their purchase.

Bright above ground basement suite in our family home. Beautiful rural area just 7 minutes from town. Private entrance on the side of the home. We are just outside of town and have lots of crown land to walk and explore. Whether you are coming for work or play- Williams Lake has something for everyone.

The space
There is a large living room/dining room space, a full kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom (with a stand up shower). The space is furnished with everything you should need for a work trip or holiday. We live in the home above and do have two busy kids and a puppy so occasional noise will be heard. Outside there are chickens- which means farm fresh eggs for anyone who feels like collecting them! The home is heated and cooled with central forced air. The basement does tend to run cool- which is fantastic for our hot summers- but please keep this in mind. The basement has three separate heaters provided.

The space
This cabin is a 16’x16’ building with a small covered deck and a 1/2 loft. Queen bed is in the loft. The loft is accessible by a ladder(see photos.) The loft is low clearance (no standing) Just a cozy place for sleeping and chilling out.
Futon couch on main floor. Could sleep one extra person. BYOB - bring your own bedding/sleeping bag (for futon).

Guest access
The cabin is located past the house and behind the workshop building found upon arrival. Parking for the cabin is on the left side of the workshop. Extra parking is available directly in front of workshop building. Outdoor patio beside the cabin and yard surrounding cabin are yours to enjoy. If you wish to venture the trails to the A frame shelter and fire pit area, please refer to directions located in the cabin.
As wildfire season closes in, fire bans may be in place and prevent the use of fire pits.

Other things to note
This is a no cell service area, WIFI calling and texting only. A landline telephone is available in the cabin. Yes, a landline:) Starlink internet.
Shared driveway with our neighbors, our property is on the right as you drive up the driveway. It’s all in plain sight.
We have 2 friendly dogs. They are out and about at times and may be found seeking attention from people. Please let us know if you are travelling with a pet. If dogs are not your thing, we can easily keep them contained so you may enjoy a dog free experience. Timber is an Aussie Shepherd Mini and Shiva is a large Heinz 57. You may encounter chickens! We have chickens that free range and travel throughout the property. Ask about fresh egg sales and gourmet mushroom growing blocks.

The top floor of the house has your main bedroom with a king bed and walk-in close, the second bedroom has a single bed and desk, and then the tv room with a pull-out couch. (The TV room with a pull-out sofa has a door, making it a private space). Each of these three rooms has a closet. The top floor of the house has a bathroom with a shower. On the main floor is the fourth bedroom with a queen bed and closets. The stackable washer/dryer is in this room, locked away in a closet. On the main floor is a second bathroom. 

In the summer months there is an air-conditioning unit in the living room on the main floor and another in the master bedroom on the top floor.

The house is filled with eclectic art, living plants and great morning and evening light for an inviting feel.

Guests have access to all rooms minus the basement. (The basement is rented out to tenants.) The washer and dryer are in the bedroom with the queen bed. They are stackable and are inside a closet out of the way.

Lovely little house directly across from the Cariboo Memorial Hospital. The house is 2.2Km from Save-On-Foods, 1.3Km from the city pool and gym and 900m from Red Tomato Pie! Guests have access to the entire suite area, including the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and patio area. There is one guest parking spot available in the driveway, with direct stair access to the suite. Additional parking, is available along the street outside the suite.

Make lasting memories at this unique and family-friendly log cabin on McLeese Lake. Approx 525 sq ft plus full loft upstairs, nice beach and private 40' dock. Fully fenced yard with lawn to the lakeshore, shady and sunny areas, beautifully landscaped with flowers and shrubs. Paving stone patio with large cedar picnic table, sun umbrella and firepit. Great swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating or fishing ... bring your toys. Boat access available nearby. No pets.

The space
Our cabin has one bedroom with queen bed on the main floor as well as kitchen, bathroom, office/laundry room and living/dining area. Access to the loft is via ladder, therefore all children must be supervised when going up and down. At the top of the ladder is a safety gate. When this gate is closed please advise children NOT to lean on it. Upstairs there is a queen bed at each end of the loft, with a window, as well as an emergency escape ladder. The office/laundry room on the main floor could be rearranged by Host to accommodate a small crib or playpen if guest wishes to bring their own.

Guest access
Guests have full access inside the fenced yard and beach area in front. Small shed on property is reserved for Host use. Vehicle parking is just outside the fenced area to the left of the main door.

Other things to note
Please bring your own beach towels and blankets for outdoor use. We ask for our linens, pillows and towels to stay inside the cabin. Our dock in the lake has a ladder on the end for easy access to the water. Firewood will be provided depending on campfire restrictions. Propane firepit available on request when campfire restrictions are in place.
