Modern Holiday Home a Few Minutes Walk from Beautiful Beach.

The property is a modern terraced holiday home situated on Freshwater Bay Holiday Park. The beach is only a five minute walk away.
There are two bedrooms, a double and the second with bunk beds. The bathroom has a walk in electric shower only. There is a lounge/ dining room with adjoining kitchen. All Electricity and heating are included. There is free WiFi and we have extended our personal Net Flix account so our guests can enjoy an inexhaustible choice of films during their holiday.
The chalet is our holiday home as well and we love it and the area. As we spend a lot of time there ourselves, we are able to trouble shoot and put right any faults, damage etc. Our reviews always say how well equipped and comfortable the chalet is. I believe this is because it is also our home which we enjoy sharing with our guests.
The Beautiful secluded beach of Freshwater East boasts a half mile stretch of safe, clean sand and is only a five minute walk away from the chalet.
The Longhouse Pub/ Restaurant caters for lunch and dinner, cafe type food, takeouts, parties, and functions. There are events all year round and it has a warm, friendly environment with enthusiastic and helpful staff.
There is a small shop which caters for everyday essentials.
The Longhouse also hires out Wet suits, Kayaks and Stand up Paddle Boards. There is free WiFi and Sky Sports.
The team at The Longhouse also teach diving at certain times of the year. Customers will need to check directly with The Longhouse to see when this is available and if they can book.
The beach allows barbecues. It is amazing to take a disposable barbecue down to the beach in the evening and cook your meal. Some people fish and cook their freshly caught fish on the beach.
The Pembrokeshire Way runs from both ends of the beach. This provides miles and miles of walks along the cliffs with breathtaking scenery along the way.
The Coastal Cruiser drives around the coast during the summer season, picking up and dropping people off along the coast. This enables walkers to walk a different part of the Coastal Path every day.
We believe Freshwater East provides a fantastic family holiday, one that will always be treasured for the memories and good times had by all.

Stella Marina is situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with fabulous scenery and many beaches, and Freshwater East beach is just a few steps away! Leave the car where it is and stroll to the beach without having to worry about time restrictions and expensive parking. This is a nautical themed chalet and the blue and white decor is fresh and homely. This is an end of terrace chalet which benefits from a patio area on the side so you can have sunny lunches. The chalet benefits from a new and improved pitched roof and coloured cladding which provides a more cosy and secure feel. The lilac blue is in keeping with the pastel colours of the Pembrokeshire harbourside cottages. The accommodation consists of an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen. Wifi is included and there is a new Sony TV with freeview catch-up TV BBCiplayer, Netflix with subscription and a DVD pLayer. In the lounge there is a lovely feature fireplace with a shell and pebble flame effect which continues the seaside feel and adds instant warmth and ambience. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and includes an electric hob, oven, and dishwasher. The dining room has a comfortable extendable table and a quaint dresser housing lots of books, games and DVDs. There is a new blue and white striped stair carpet to:
Bedroom 1 this has feature wall with lighthouses and ships and a cosy double bed and there is also a built in cupboard with hanging space. Bedroom 2 has wallpaper with ships and two 3ft adult single beds (no bunks!) with new memory foam mattresses and also a wardrobe. The beds are made up for your arrival with fresh linen and the double bed has a lovely merino wool duvet which keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter. The price includes all electric l, wifi and a welcome pack of essentials to help get you started - milk, tea, coffee, sugar etc. and cleaning products and tea towel. There is a bathroom with a bath and a shower over - please bring your own towels and beach towels. You are welcome to use the beach equipment which includes two chairs and windbreaks, bucket and spade etc. The chalet comes with its own free allocated comfortable level parking*. All you need to do is relax and enjoy your stay!

*If required there is an EV charging station in the beach car park. Please note electric charging is prohibited in the chalet.

The lounge/kitchen/diner opens at the rear onto a lawn and woodland where there is a range of wildlife including badgers. The bathroom has a walk in shower. The three beds (one double, two single) are very comfortable. We request guests supply their own bed linen, towels and tea towels as this enables the price of stays to be kept as low as possible.
There is free wifi, a streaming TV and Blu Ray/DVD player . The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and full range of utensils. Heating, electricity, duvets and pillows are provided . A folding bed is available for a fifth person and a cot and high chair. A dedicated parking space is located close to the front door. There is a small front garden with herbs and roses. Children will love the mermaid collection, toys and games .
Mermaid beach home is ideally located for walkers who wish to explore the Pembrokeshire coast long distance footpath which runs past the entrance to Trewent Park. The Trewent Park cafe/restaurant/bar 'Jacks at the Longhouse',

ACCOMMODATION
Sleeping up to six guests over two bedrooms (and a sofa bed), this bolthole boasts shared on-site facilities including a clubhouse, pub and restaurant to give you a well-deserved night off from the kitchen.

Head inside to relax and unwind in the welcoming, open-plan living area. After sandy days, relax on the sofa and spend family time together playing games or watching a family classic on Netflix. At the back of the house is a flat communal grassed area. Why not sit outside with a glass of wine on our garden chairs and watch the children playing in safety and away from traffic.

Time in the salty sea air will have you needing a peaceful, cosy night’s sleep; head upstairs to rest your head in one of the light bedrooms. The first is a double room, while the second has bunk beds and is suited to children – great for a holiday sleepover with siblings or friends. The recently renovated shower room has plenty of hot water on demand. There is no bath.
Take your breakfast outside to dine alfresco in the garden (shared with other properties on-site) before heading out to explore. There is an allocated parking space (for 1 vehicle) available on site.

LOCATION
The chalet is located within the Freshwater Bay Holiday Village, close to the beach and within the magnificent Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The award winning Freshwater East Beach is a 3 minute walk away. You can travel further afield to Barafundle Bay (2.5 miles), Broadhaven South (6.5 miles) or make the 9.5-mile trip to the quintessential seaside village of Tenby where a handful of beaches await. From here, you can also board a boat for a fishing trip or to Caldey Island and you can tuck into a traditional portion of fish and chips. The fun packed Folly Farm, Heatherton adventure park and Oakwood theme park are all within easy reach. Treat little ones with a trip to Manor House Wildlife Farm, just 8 miles from your door.

Downstairs is an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. Upstairs is a shower room, a double bedroom and a twin. The kitchen is well equipped including a fridge, freezer, cooker and microwave.

Freshwater East is a sheltered bay nestled along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Known for its golden sands, dunes and clear waters, it offers a mix of natural beauty, historical depth and family-friendly amenities. The village overlooks the bay, with cliffs of 400-million-year-old red sandstone, rich in fossils and designated a site of special scientific interest.

The beach is a 1km wide bay backed by sand dunes, with a freshwater stream flowing through the southern end. Low tide reveals expansive sand ideal for games, rock pooling, and secluded coves. Sheltered by Trewent Point it faces west reducing wind exposure and creating perfect conditions for swimming and paddling. Fossils are commonly found in the cliffs and seal pups may be spotted seasonally.

The property is just a short walk to the stunning Freshwater East beach. Also on your doorstep en-route to or from the beach is the fabulousJacks at the Longhouse restaurant serving hearty meals and drinks for all tastes. By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them.

These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows:

"Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date.
"Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner
"Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking).
"Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4.
"Website" means the booking website.
"Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation.
"Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you.
"Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website.
"Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays.
"Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us.
"You" means the lead person making a booking through us.
When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as any breach may result in the Owner (or their representative) refusing to allow you and your guests to enter and stay at the property or requiring you and your guests to leave the property before the end of the holiday period without any compensation or refund.

1. Contract and Booking
We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 21 years of age.

The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form.

The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment)

No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent.

Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change.

2. Booking Fees
A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday.

3. Deposits and Balance Payments
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid.

The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday

4. Damage Deposits
Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffin Cottage Holidays are not liable for any disputed claims.

5. Availability
The Contract of Hire is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events outside the Owners control the lead Hirer will be notified as soon as possible. The lead Hirer shall be offered alternative dates or, at the Owners discretion, a refund but will have no further claims against the Owner or Puffin Cottage Holidays. Puffin Cottage Holidays will not be responsible to pay any compensation or expenses as a consequence of a Property not being available in these cases. The booking fee will be non-refundable in these circumstances as we will have carried out our services for this to you at the point of booking.

6. Guest Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation from the lead Hirer, the deposit and booking fee will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation after payment of the balance every effort will be made to relet the property. If such reletting is possible the balance or that part thereof that is paid by another client and recouped via replacement booking will be repaid (less the deposit and booking fee).

7. Hirers' Responsibilities
The lead Hirer will ensure that:

All Guests act responsibly and carefully whilst at the Property and the Property is left clean, tidy and in the same state of repair and cleanliness that it was found in, for example crockery and cutlery is washed up and put back in cupboards and refuse is disposed of. Any breakage, damage or excessive mess will be billed to, and must be paid for, by the person who booked the property.

no more than the maximum number of people or pets are allowed to stay at the Property (as stated on the Website)

Freshwater East is a wide sandy bay nestled along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Known for its golden sands, clear blue waters, and family-friendly atmosphere, sheltered by Trewent Point headland and backed by dunes and grassy cliffs it offers a picturesque setting for relaxation and activities.

The beach stretches 1 km at low tide, revealing expansive sand and rock pools, ideal for picnics, sandcastles, and beach games. A freshwater stream flows through the southern end, historically used by ships for supplies.

Freshwater East has received the Green Coast and Seaside Award 2019 – 2025 for environmental quality. Also a part of the Marine Special Area of Conservation with occasional seal sightings, and ponies grazing in the dunes during the winter months. The beach is popular for kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. Experienced surfers visit in the winter.

Stop by the nearby Freshwater Inn for a pint, or just steps away en-route to Freshwater East beach try a tasty bite to eat at Jacks at the Longhouse. Walks along the coast path take you to east to Swanlake and Manorbier and west to Stackpole Key and Barafundle Bay.
