14 The Coombe is a privately owned self catering holiday lodge set in 30 acres on Penstowe Park. The lodge enjoys a distant sea view. It sleeps 7 guests in 3 bedrooms (1 double bedroom, 1 twin room and 1 double 1 single room) and the option of an additional 2 guests on a sofa bed in the lounge. It has a fully equipped kitchen oven, hob, microwave and fridge. The spacious lounge/diner has a table and 6 chairs plus 3 additional fold out chairs and a high chair, 3 sofas and a TV with Freeview plus DVD player. The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower above, basin and toilet.

The lodge is situated near to Bude with its spectacular surfing beaches and National Trust Areas. This makes it an ideal base for exploring in Cornwall and Devon

A delightful,individual wooden chalet nestled into the side of the cliff with amazing views over the beach at Crackington Haven. Sheltered, private garden and patio with sea-views. On the coast path,a few meters from the lovely beach and close to a couple of great cafes and an excellent pub overlooking the sea. The local bus service stops by the beach. Very comfortable accommodation with oak floors and leather sofas and open plan living to take advantage of the superb views. Ample heating. A great place to stay at any time of year.
7 nights minimum in high season, short stays in high season only considered last minute.
Electricity is metered and you pay for what you use, this is fairer for you than building it into rental cost.
Regretfully we cannot accept dogs.
There is off road private parking at road level and please note that access is then on foot via 20 meters on the coast path which is unsuitable for guests with limited mobility due to uneven steps.

Pen Cliff is comfortable and cosy with a good TV and Wi-Fi too. Parking is across the road so it was not possible to charge our hybrid car, but this was not a problem particularly, just something to note as electric vehicles become more common perhaps. Owners were helpful and communication was easy. All in all, a lovely stay and at a reasonable price for Cornwall."

Lounge has combined TV & DVD, stove style electric heater, two two seater sofa's, coffee table, dining table to seat 4 and a bookshelf with a selection of DVD's and books.

Kitchen brand new for 2021 is equipped with new electric cooker (inc hob, grill and oven), new fridge with freezer box, microwave, kettle, toaster and slow cooker. There is crockery and utensils for 4 persons, plus pans and other cooking items. There are also items available for picnics (ice packs, Tupperware style containers, cooler bag, plastic cutlery and crockery).

Double bedroom comprises of very comfortable double bed, bedside table, wardrobe and drawers.

Smaller bedroom has bunkbeds, drawers and bookshelf.

The bathroom has wc, sink and walk in shower.

Electricity is by £1 coin meter situated in cupboard adjacent to the bathroom.

Outside space is enhanced with patio tubs filled with flowering plants, a picnic table, parasol and storage box with picnic chairs and children beach toys plus two body boards.
