14 The Coombe is a privately owned self catering holiday lodge set in 30 acres on Penstowe Park. The lodge enjoys a distant sea view. It sleeps 7 guests in 3 bedrooms (1 double bedroom, 1 twin room and 1 double 1 single room) and the option of an additional 2 guests on a sofa bed in the lounge. It has a fully equipped kitchen oven, hob, microwave and fridge. The spacious lounge/diner has a table and 6 chairs plus 3 additional fold out chairs and a high chair, 3 sofas and a TV with Freeview plus DVD player. The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower above, basin and toilet.

The lodge is situated near to Bude with its spectacular surfing beaches and National Trust Areas. This makes it an ideal base for exploring in Cornwall and Devon

A delightful,individual wooden chalet nestled into the side of the cliff with amazing views over the beach at Crackington Haven. Sheltered, private garden and patio with sea-views. On the coast path,a few meters from the lovely beach and close to a couple of great cafes and an excellent pub overlooking the sea. The local bus service stops by the beach. Very comfortable accommodation with oak floors and leather sofas and open plan living to take advantage of the superb views. Ample heating. A great place to stay at any time of year.
7 nights minimum in high season, short stays in high season only considered last minute.
Electricity is metered and you pay for what you use, this is fairer for you than building it into rental cost.
Regretfully we cannot accept dogs.
There is off road private parking at road level and please note that access is then on foot via 20 meters on the coast path which is unsuitable for guests with limited mobility due to uneven steps.

Pen Cliff is comfortable and cosy with a good TV and Wi-Fi too. Parking is across the road so it was not possible to charge our hybrid car, but this was not a problem particularly, just something to note as electric vehicles become more common perhaps. Owners were helpful and communication was easy. All in all, a lovely stay and at a reasonable price for Cornwall."

The chalet is tastefully decorated throughout with a seaside themed décor.

Lounge has combined TV & DVD, stove style electric heater, two two seater sofa's, coffee table, dining table to seat 4 and a bookshelf with a selection of DVD's and books.

Kitchen brand new for 2021 is equipped with new electric cooker (inc hob, grill and oven), new fridge with freezer box, microwave, kettle, toaster and slow cooker. There is crockery and utensils for 4 persons, plus pans and other cooking items. There are also items available for picnics (ice packs, Tupperware style containers, cooler bag, plastic cutlery and crockery).

Double bedroom comprises of very comfortable double bed, bedside table, wardrobe and drawers.

Smaller bedroom has bunkbeds, drawers and bookshelf.

The bathroom has wc, sink and walk in shower.

Electricity is by £1 coin meter situated in cupboard adjacent to the bathroom.

Outside space is enhanced with patio tubs filled with flowering plants, a picnic table, parasol and storage box with picnic chairs and children beach toys plus two body boards.

All bedding is supplied and also a bath mat and tea towels. You just have to bring your own towels.

This is a privately owned two bedroom chalet in the grounds of Penstowe Park Kilkhampton. It is very near the Beaches of Sandymouth, Bude and Crackington Haven. There is a pub in the village of Kilkhampton along with a Co-op and local stores. We are near the Tamar Lakes which is good for fishing and sailing. Bude is only 7 miles away which has several beaches and amenities. We are in Cornwall but close to Devon for those who wish to explore. The chalet is suitable for a family of four, it has a double bed and bunk beds with ample storages for clothes. It has a well equipped kitchen with everything you need including a cooker and microwave and fridge but there is no freezer. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Bedroom linen and kitchen tea towels etc are provided but you need to bring your own towels. The chalet is cleaned after you leave. There is a patio outside and chair and equipment in a locker for your use. The chalet has two colour TV's and small heaters including a Dyson Fan (Hot & Cold). No stag parties or large groups of teenagers, and all damages must be paid for. The electric meter is in the boiler cupboard and electric cards are purchased for your use from 'The Shack' on the T.Junction by the Manor House.

The fully fitted kitchen is a dream for any cooking enthusiast, with striking marble worktops and exposed wooden apex beams overhead. The central island, with three wooden stools, offers the perfect spot for breakfast or coffee. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room fitted with a washing machine and dryer. For added convenience, there is a separate downstairs WC.

This is our beloved privately owned chalet situated in the beautiful grounds of Penstow Holiday Park it is the perfect location to explore Bude as well as benefiting from all the amenities the park has to offer.
This cosy chalet has lots to offer. With an open plan living room and kitchen, with a comfy corner sofa bed. The kitchen is well equipped has all the appliances you need. There is ample cutlery and crockery supplied and even plastic utensils for the children.

There are 2 bedrooms. 1 generous double bed room, offering tall standing units and a spacious wardrobe. The twin bedroom includes 2 single beds, wardrobe and bed side cabinets. Both bedrooms have new beds and mattress replaced in July 2023. The bathroom is modern and tidy with a bath and overhead shower.

The grounds have plenty to do, with the Stables Inn pub and restaurant within a 2 minute walk.
The manor house hosts an array of evening entertainment for the whole family. There are stand up comedians, bingo nights and fun for the little ones. Approximately 4 miles from Bude......there is a local supermarket ,takeaways and 2 pubs within walking distance....the coastline is approximately 2 miles away but several stunning beaches are only a short car journey away. This chalet offers an ideal base to explore Cornwall.

Situated on the popular Bude Away Resort is my lovely styled 3 Bedroom Holiday home with Double glazing, Full Central heating in all rooms and a Large open plan living area complimented by a Large outside decking area, Perfect to enjoy those beautiful Cornish days and evenings!

The site has a beautiful Bar and restuarant open all year ( please check with reception for opening times)

The space
As you walk in you will be greeted with an open plan entrance hall where there is a large cupboard with hanging space and a seperate cupboard housing the Boiler, This is also where the vacuum cleaner is stored.

To the left you will find the Galley style Kitchen featuring a full size Gas cooker, a full size dishwasher and sufficient worktop space along with plenty of storage, at the end of the kitchen there is a full size Fridge/Freezer, in addition there is a Ninja 2 drawer air fryer and we have recently added a Nespresso coffee machine which all guests will receive some complimentary pods.

Open plan Lounge dining room with plenty of seating along with a Table and chairs, Ther is also a TV, Gas fire and a selection of games to enjoy.

It’s located on a peaceful park, the chalet is located 4 miles from Bude on the outskirts of a small village which has pubs and grocery stores.
Bude has a dog friendly beach .the nearby Milky Way offers a great day out for kids. there is a lovely canal walk approx 2.5 miles on tarmac, Padstow and port Isaac within easy reach.

Our compact but cosy and newly refurbished 2 bedroom chalet is set in Penstowe holiday park. Perfect for family of four or maybe slightly more if you want to use the sofa bed. We have recently added a new kitchen and bathroom and new flooring throughout. WIFI and smart TV.
3 miles to the nearest beach and 10 min drive to Bude.
Electricity cards are not included in your stay but can be purchased on site.

The space
The bedrooms consist of one double bed and wardrobe with side table and the other has bunk beds suitable for children (or adults only in the lower bunk.) This room also has an open wardrobe.
The bathroom is also brand new. It has a shower over a bath. Perfect for family’s. We also put in a new water system so NO electric shower!
The living room has a sofa bed (we do not provide linen for this but you are welcome to use it) a dining table with benches and a smart TV. WiFi is in the property.
The kitchen has everything you could need including a fan oven, hob, toaster, microwave and a slim line dishwasher! Please note that we don’t have a washing machine.

Walking around the site is lovely and parking is only a short walk from the chalet. If you have a dog please make sure they are on a lead at all times on site.

The space
Superb quality south facing two bedroom lodge. The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and all the utensils you may need. There is a barbecue on the deck, together with table, chairs and sun loungers.

This is more than a holiday lodge it is our second home and we welcome you as our guests. You are therefore welcome to make use of all that is there - the only personal items are in the ottoman in the double room , the wicker baskets in the twin room and the box marked 'food' in the kitchen. We just ask that you leave enough of everything for others that follow you, but please help yourself to tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, cleaning materials, sauces, jams, cleaning materials, kitchen roll, toilet rolls, baking foil, etc.etc.
There are wet suits in the storage box outside as well as a couple of basic body boards and beach chairs and equipment. In the lodge there are many games, jigsaws, toys, DVD's and a WiFit that you are welcome to use - we just ask that breakages are replaced (this is sometimes necessary if people are a bit enthusiastic with the body boards - but they are only cheap ones!). We also have a travel cot available for your use. Our lease allows us to park one vehicle in the area near the Lodge - any further vehicles should be parked nearer the laundry.
As we are so far away we cannot supply any linen, but there are duvets and pillows in the bedrooms. Please contact us if you are coming from overseas as we may be able to make special arrangements for an additional charge.

Other things to note
We only let for full weeks in August and the changeover day is Saturday - check out 11.00am - check in 4.00pm. At other times we are able to arrange shorter stays and a reduced price for off season visits. Sadly we have been unable to arrange cleaners so we require guests to clean before they go so that the lodge is left as found.

Our delightful, individual wooden chalet has a sunny south-westerly aspect and is nestled into the side of the cliff by the sea with amazing views over the beach at Crackington Haven. In an idyllic location just a few minutes walk from a lovely sandy beach, a couple of cafes and a super pub serving great food overlooking the bay which enjoys frequent amazing sunsets. A superb base for couples or a small family. Please note that no pets are allowed.

The space
Very comfortable self-catering seaside chalet set in a pretty little garden with paved patio area enjoying fantastic sea views. The open-plan living area has oak floors and leather sofas, a dining area and well-equipped kitchen with large windows and French doors opening onto the patio [which is furnished with 4 chairs and a table to enjoy dining al fresco] and offers a great outside space to take advantage of the superb views in shelter and comfort. There are two small bedrooms [one king and one with bunk beds] which have large windows and a shower/wet room with loo and wash-basin. There are ample electric heaters and the chalet is a great place to stay at any time of year.

Guests have access to the whole property which is all on one level.
The chalet is situated a few meters up the coast path which is unlit and uneven with a few steep steps and therefore the accommodation is not suitable for guests with limited mobility especially in wet weather when it can be a bit slippery.

There is private, off-road parking [for up to 2 cars] at road level.

Please note that mobile phone reception is sporadic on the coast so please be sure to have the directions with you.

Other things to note
Pen Cliff is situated a few steps up the coast path which is uneven and unlit and therefore may not be accessible to all. Private, off-road parking is at road level and guests walk about 20 metres up the coast path to Pen Cliff.

Please note that electricity is charged [at cost] by meter reading and payable at the end of your stay. [Off peak electricity is included in the rental from September to April]

Come and relax in our lovely bright and airy 2 bedroom (5 sleeper) chalet in Penstowe Holiday Park in Kilkhampton, Bude Cornwall. Lovely quiet holiday park with lots of greenery, and very close to some beautiful beaches which are only a short drive away.

The space
Lovely airy and bright chalet which can sleep 5 people (double bed, and bunkbed with trundle). Bathroom has shower over bath, and the kitchen is equipped with essentials, as well as a 9L air fryer (2 compartments of 4L each). Please feel free to ask if you'd like to know about anything specific within the chalet or surrounds, or if you forget something then let us know and we'll do everything we can to help!

You will have exclusive use of the chalet, and access to any open onsite facilities. The Manor House is run by 'The Stowe - Bude'. You can look them up online for information on their offerings.

Other things to note
We have a few board games in the chalet - Risk, Monopoly, Uno, and Jenga. We will also provide some good books in case you forget yours at home! We have lovely 36" Fire TV which you can use to log in to any streaming services that you subscribe to. Please remember to log out before you leave!

Kilkhampton village has a Co-Op, Spar and a traditional butchers. The London Inn does a lovely breakfast. There is also Kilkhampton Village Store & Post Office, and Bude is only a 12 min drive away, offering it's beautiful coast line and lovely charm.

There is a Chinese takeaway restaurant in Kilkhampton: Wayside Chinese Takeaway for (3 min drive)
